Abstract

In this era of global competition, companies need to shorten the production cycle, responsive to market dynamics and customer demand and to strengthen information exchange system. In this competitive environment, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is very helpful in integrating the management of all the company's resources. In manufacturing companies such as furniture, raw materials shall be made available for the production process. Shortages of raw materials can be anticipated early through inventory information that can be accessed quickly and accurately so that the business process is still running. This study aims to assist companies in implementing ERP systems by proposing strategies and tactics to overcome the problems encountered in implementing ERP systems. ADempiere as one ERP applications can help manage the transaction data and inventory business processes to improve corporate performance. The stages are carried out in this research is to identify problems, analyze business processes, election ADempiere application modules, implementation and testing of applications. Business processes are identified consisting of sales, purchasing and production. The results of analysis of business processes described in the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and a working model of the system is shown by the use case diagram. System test results obtained by comparing the ERP system using the manual system. The test results prove that ADempiere can produce the raw material inventory information in real time, generate transaction reports purchases, sales, production, and financial reports automatically so that it can help company leaders make decisions quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Prediksi produksi padi menjadi penting dilakukan untuk menunjang pembangunan nasional sektor pertanian pada suatu negara atau wilayah. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) termasuk metode yang terbaik dalam melakukan prediksi. Masalah utamanya adalah bagaimana menentukan jumlah neuron dan hidden layer yang optimal sehingga akurasi prediksinya tinggi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk merancang arsitektu ANN unutk melakukan prediksi terhadap produksi padi menggunakan ANN dengan algortima backpropagation. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mengumpulkan data produksi padi, melakukan pre-processing data, memproses prediksi, dan pengujian akurasi dan error serta implementasi. Dalam memproses prediksi dilakukan sesuai dengan rancangan model prediksi, yaitu parameter epoch, momentum, learning rate, hidden layer untuk menghasilkan keakuratan yang tinggi. Temuan yang diperolah berupa rancangan optimal untuk melakukan prediksi yaitu dengan menggunakan multilayer. Hasil pengujian sistem prediksi produksi padi yang terdiri dari 75 kali pengujian pada di 19 daerah di Sumatera Barat, diperoleh tingkat akurasi mencapai 88,14% atau dengan tingkat error yang relatif rendah yaitu 11,86%.

Abstract

Web-based management information system of transaction data with mobile features was needed by employees of PT. Yasiga Sarana Utama, especially mine division. The problems that frequently occur are some documents are created with the manual method, data storage is conducted using Microsoft Excel and duplication. Damage and loss of data have been solved with Web-based management information system of transaction data. In addition, the field employees who have activities outside of the Office get ease in storing and archiving the data using a mobile application integrated with transaction data management information systems. Management information system of transaction data was built using the waterfall method which consisted of the analysis, design, coding or implementing, and testing. In the early stages of development, the company business processes were studied through literatures, and then the company requirements were analyzed using use case diagrams, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, state chart diagrams, and user interface design. The next phase was the design of the system by designing a database using the ER-diagrams. Programming code on the implementation phase was conducted using PHP PDO with object-oriented programming, Bootstrap PostgreSQL database as an additional aesthetic applications, and PhoneGap to generate mobile applications. Application testing was conducted using black box testing. The results of the implementation showed the expected output and in accordance with existing business processes.Keywords—Management Information System of Transaction Data, PT. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat telah dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi Sumatera Barat. Sebagai salah satu sekolah terbaik yang ada di Sumatera Barat, sekolah ini dilengkapi dengan banyak fasilitas penunjang kegiatan-kegiatan akademis maupun kegiatan non akademis. Sekolah ini juga sangat terbuka dalam perkembangan teknologi informasi dan mendukung perkembangan dunia pendidikan berbasis teknologi informasi, terlihat dari adanya program sekolah yang mengadakan pelatihan IT untuk para guru dan civitas akademik yang dilakukan secara rutin beberapa tahun terakhir. Namun karena keterbatasan pengetahuan pihak sekolah dalam bidang Teknologi Informasi membuat program pelatihan yang dilaksanakan tidak tepat sasaran. Oleh karena itu kami dari Fakultas Teknologi Informasi Universitas Andalas melakukan pendekatan dan memberikan informasi – informasi penting tentang bagaimana pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi ini pada pihak sekolah, sehingga dapat tercetus pelatihan penggunaan Schoology ini, yang mana nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh para guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Schoology merupakan sebuah Media Learning Management System yang didesain sebagai media digitan untuk meningkatkan interaksi kelas antara guru dan murid. Schoology juga memiliki Aplikasi yang dapat digunakan pada android, sehingga proses pembelajaran jadi lebih menarik dan dapat di akses di mana saja dan kapan saja. Dengan diterapkannya aplikasi ini akan dapat membantu guru dalam memberikan materi pembelajaran, latihan, kuis, ulangan harian, hingga proses penilaian.

Abstract

The paper presents grid-tied PV monitoring system using wireless sensor networks.  The temperature and humidity parameters were measured using DHT22. While ACS 712 5A current sensor and Arduino voltage sensor modules were used to measure photovoltaic output current and voltage respectively. Web application has been developed in the base station using PHP programming web server to access the sensor nodes through Zigbee wireless data communication. The user can access the HTML web interface of Photovoltaic monitoring system through local Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection. The residential 1.25 kWp grid connected photovoltaic system used to test the developed monitoring system. The data received exactly same as data sensed from remote area with average delay time 3 to 4 seconds. The result shows the photovoltaic power generation caracteristics under clear sky, cloud cover, and rainy weather conditions. The power 608.12 Wp has been generated by the solar panel from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm or 6.7 kWh per day during clear sky. During intermittent cloud covered the photovoltaic power graph have shown fluctuation power profile and energy conversion were decreased as well as in raining weather condition. The electrical power has been generated by photovoltaic for almost 12 hours per day in tropics area, but energy conversion is highly influenced by weather conditions, especially cloud cover, overcast and rainy.

Abstract

Prediction of the amount of drug use at public health centers is needed to ensure the availability of drugs for patients in service quality management. A good prediction of the amount of medicine needed helps the quality of development planning in the health sector. Scientific developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) deliver a variety of the best techniques for making predictions. By adopting the workings of neural networks (neurons) in the human brain or Artificial Neural Network (ANN), the Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) algorithm is one of the best algorithms in making predictions, including predicting drug use in health services. The problem of this research is how to design the best architectural model such as the number of neurons in the input layer, hidden layer and other parameters so as to produce predictions with optimal accuracy. This study aims to develop an ANN architectural design with the Backpropagation algorithm to predict the need for drug use. The data used is data on drug use reports from 2015 to 2021 at the Andalas Community Health Center (Puskesmas) Padang City. The steps taken to predict are; collect data, pre-process data and perform analysis, design ANN architecture, make predictions. Learning using the backpropagation algorithm through the initial weight initialization process, activation stage, weight training (weight change) and iteration stage. The proportion of the amount of data used for training is 70% data and 30% for testing data. The results of this study indicate that the best ANN architecture is 12-12-1 with an accuracy of predicting the quantity of drug use reaching 97.87% for paracetamol with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 2.13%. The prediction results become a reference for the Puskesmas and the Health Office for service planning and development.

Abstract

Android is a platform for smartphones that can be used anytime and anywhere. Smartphones can be felt in various aspects of human life, especially in education, as a medium of learning material between teachers and students. The development of Android-based applications needs special basic Android programming skills. The Informatics Subject Teacher Consultation of Padang (MGMP) is interested in developing a simple Android-based application but needs direction and guidance to learn Android programming. Therefore, a workshop was needed to develop an Android-based application using AppInventor for simple applications. The workshop provided more steps, essential knowledge, and new experience to be developed by MGMP Team to support duties as teachers.

Abstract

Data warehouse dan dashboard adalah dua komponen penting dalam sistem informasi yang dapat membantu organisasi dalam mengelola dan menganalisis data secara efektif dan efisien. Namun, untuk membangun data warehouse dan dashboard yang berkualitas, diperlukan metodologi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik organisasi. Salah satu metodologi yang populer dan teruji adalah Kimball Nine-Step, yang dikembangkan oleh Ralph Kimball, seorang pakar data warehouse. Metodologi ini terdiri dari sembilan langkah, yaitu: (1) menentukan bisnis proses, (2) menentukan grain, (3) mengidentifikasi dimensi, (4) mengidentifikasi fakta, (5) merancang skema bintang, (6) merancang dimensi fisik, (7) merancang fakta fisik, (8) merancang dashboard, dan (9) mengimplementasikan data warehouse dan dashboard. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metodologi Kimball Nine-Step dalam membangun data warehouse dan dashboard untuk PT Debe Tour, perusahaan jasa tour dan travel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa data warehouse dan dashboard yang dibangun dengan menggunakan Kimball Nine-Step dapat meningkatkan kualitas informasi dan pengambilan keputusan di perusahaan tersebut.
