Abstract

The study is to determine the quality of workshop practice and media learning of light vehicle engineering in Vocational High Schools in terms of (1) the facilities and infrastructure of laboratory and (2) the use of instructional media practices of light vehicle engineering. The collection of data used the method of observation, documentation, interview. This type of qualitative research is a case study approach, involving five internship supervisor teachers and workshop managers. The results of the study showed that the practice of Automotive Engine Repair with spacious 84 m2, Automotive Chassis Repair with a spacious 72 m2, Automotive Electrical Repair with spacious 24 m2 had not yet met the standard minimum as suggested at the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation number 34 of 2018. The use of practical learning media was less effective because: (1) the comparison of study groups with the area of the workshop was not balanced, (2) the existence of some practicum subjects scheduled in the same day resulted in the students were practicing simultaneously at one time, and (3) the lack of practicum facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contributions of career guidance and parents support to the vocational high school students' work readiness. This research is survey. The sampling technique used a proportional random sampling method. The data collection used the questionnaire method to obtain career guidance data, support parents, and students’ work readiness. The data analysis included descriptive analysis, prerequisite analysis including normality test, linearity test, and multi-collinearity test, and multiple analysis with F-test, determination test, and partial correlation analysis. The results showed that (1) career guidance and parents’ support influenced positively and significantly to work readiness of vocational students, (2) career guidance influenced positively and significantly to work readiness of students in vocational school, and (3) the parental support influenced positively and significantly on work readiness of students in vocational high schools.

Abstract

The study's objectives were to: determine the type of Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motor that is right for an electric car drive system with a capacity of one passenger, and Knowing the capacity of the BLDC motor used as an electric car drive system with a capacity of one passenger. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) level 1. The research subjects taken are students and lecturers of Vocational Education, Automotive Technology and Electrical Engineering, Ahmad Dahlan University, totalling eight students four lecturers. Ahmad Dahlan University " AL-QORNI " electric car is planned to use an electric motor type Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) with a capacity of 2000 watts which works with a voltage of 49 volts - 96 volts.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what steps were taken by the Vocational High School (SMK) 1 Mojokerto in implementing Dual System Education / Internship which is a mandatory activity for high school students to improve students` insights and qualities and foster good relations between a vocational high school and a job provider company during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is qualitative research that aims to describe the implementation of Dual System Education / Internship by Vocational high School 1 Mojokerto during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Effect of Pandemic Covid-19 into Internship Activity on apprenticeship: 1) During the pandemic, halt the internship process; internship operations can resume after the pandemic has passed. (2) Relocating student street vendors to businesses that follow government and corporation laws and require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). (3) Internships will be phased out in favor of online learning.

Abstract

Ekstravasasi darah ke rongga subaraknoid yang menyebabkan kedaruratan neurologis disebut perdarahan subaraknoid memiliki mortalitas dan morbiditas besar. Aneurisma serebral adalah penyebab paling sering perdarahan subaraknoid nontraumatik. Seorang wanita 73 tahun mengalami penurunan kesadaran satu jam sebelum masuk Rumah Sakit Dustira Cimahi. Pasien didiagnosis perdarahan subaraknoid, perdarahan intraventikuler karena ruptur aneurisma di tip basiler, hipertensi dalam terapi, epilepsi dalam terapi, immune thrombocytopenic purpura, dan hiperglikemia reaktif dd diabetes melitus tipe II. Pasien menjalani operasi eksternal ventricular drainage dalam anestesi umum. Terapi yang diberikan pascabedah adalah head up 300 dengan dukungan ventilator, ceftriakson, parasetamol, morfin, perdipin, manitol, kalnex, trileptal dan vitamin K. Pasien berhasil sapih ventilator pada hari ke-15 dan pindah ke bangsal pada hari ke-16 dengan nilai Glasgow Coma Scale E3M5V5. Pasien mengalami komplikasi pascabedah berupa pneumonia hospital yang memperberat kondisi pasien. Penatalaksanaan pneumonia hospital meliputi dukungan pernapasan, pemberian antibiotika dan obat-obatan suportif lainnya. Tatalaksana pneumonia hospital sudah sesuai pedoman Infectious Disease Society of America 2016 dan Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome Guideline 2019, namun kondisi komorbid kronis dan umur tua turut meningkatkan morbiditas pasien ini. Abstract

The rapid advancement of internet technology without education on how to use it leads to internet addiction and a tendency to use the internet for harmful or even futile purposes, although there are also many positive sides. Therefore, we carry out this activity to guide students at SMK Yuppentek 5 Tangerang so that they use the internet in a useful direction, such as looking for learning information, as a place to work, or even as a place to start a business. From the method of implementing the activities that we do, namely by being carried out directly or face-to-face, the students of SMK Yuppentek 5 Tangerang are very enthusiastic and active in listening to the material given. Through this community service activity, students can understand how to maximize internet use in a positive direction and minimize negative use so that they can create smart and productive students for the future.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh jumlah dewan komisaris, proporsi komisaris independen, serta jumlah rapat terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini, sampel yang digunakan merupakan 20 perusahaan dari sektor infrastruktur, utilitas, dan transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2010-2018. Regresi linear berganda digunakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh antara variabel independen dengan variabel dependen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan secara simultan menggunakan uji F, karakteristik dewan komisaris yang diukur dengan jumlah dewan komisaris (DK), proporsi dewan komisaris (KI), dan jumlah rapat (RD) berpengaruh terhadap return on asset (ROA), dan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan secara parsial dengan menggunakan uji T menyatakan bahwa proporsi dewan komisaris independen memiliki pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas (ROA), sedangkan jumlah dewan komisaris (DK), jumlah rapat (RD) tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas (ROA).
