Abstract

Salah satu masalah kesehatan jiwa yang dapat terjadi pada lansia adalah depresi. Depresi dapat menyebabkan penurunan kualitas hidup lansia dimana keseimbangan antara kekuatan dan kemampuannya terganggu. Merujuk pada kondisi lansia di BPPLU Bengkulu, dimana masih terdapat lansia yang mengalami depresi, maka dilaksanakanlah kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat yaitu “Movement Therapy”. Kegiatan ini bertujuan mengurangi depresi pada lansia sehingga lansia mampu menghindari akibat lanjut dari depresi seperti gejala psikologik dan somatik.  Gejala psikologik antara lain menjadi pendiam, sedih, pesimistik, putus asa, kurang bergaul dan tidak dapat mengambil keputusan. Gejala somatik antara lain apatis, bicara lemah, gerak-geriknya pelan, kelihatan tidak senang, insomnia, dan konstipasi.  Movement therapy dilaksanakan selama empat pekan, setiap dua kali sepekan. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 40 orang yang menjadi perwakilan seluruh warga BPPLU.Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu terdapat perbaikan kondisi depresi pada lansia. Perbaikan yang terjadi pada para lansia ini tidak hanya dipengaruhi Movement Therapy yang diberikan saja tetapi ada faktor lain seperti dukungan sosial dari pegawai BPPLU, petugas kesehatan BPPLU,  kegiatan rutin yang diadakan oleh Puskesmas. Hal-hal tersebut memberikan kontribusi terhadap perbaikan tingkat depresi pada lansia. Rencana tindak lanjut sebagai saran kepada pihak BPPLU adalah melaksanakan movement therapy secara rutin kepada para lansia agar dapat terhindar dari bahaya depresi.Kata Kunci : Lansia, Depresi, Movement Therapy

Abstract

Abstrak : Artikel ini dirangkum dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan beberapa waktu yang lalu. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses UKM yang ada saat ini dalam melanjutkan kegiatan usaha nya ditengah keadaan covid 19 ini, UKM dalam hal ini adalah UKM yang berada di lingkungan rumah yang berlokasi di betungan kota Bengkulu.UKM Pelita merupakan salah satu jenis UKM rumah tangga yang telah menjalankan kegiatan nya sejak tahun 2007. UKM ini bergerak di penyediaan hasil produksi makanan tradisional yakni sanjai dan beberapa olahan lainnya yang berasal dari singkong/ketela. Dalam kegiatannya UKM sanjai telah memiliki 8 orang tenaga kerja, yang berasal dari lingkungan setempat. Masa pandemi covid 19 ini tentu sangat berdampak secara langsung pada UKM pelita, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Hal inilah yang mendorong dilaksanakan nya pengabdian ini. Untuk dapat memberikan motivasi dan pengetahuan teknologi guna mengembangkan UKM Pelita dimasa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Cities in Indonesia has the same problem in the presence of slum residential in some area. The existence keeps growing altogether with the increasing of population and urbanisation in some cities. Slum residential brings several bad effects towards urban life, not only based on physical performance but also affects the decreasing in human resource quality especially those who live in the area. Along with the city development, slum residential should be arranged into a livable environment; which could be handled by area-based that placed the slum area arranged altogether by supervising surrounded environment like a united area.

Abstract

Implementation of spatial policy Bengkulu happened complex problems such as conflicts occur land, water shortages and land conversion. This research uses descriptive qualitative research approach. As the results show that: 1. Product policy Local Regulation number 14 in 2012 on Bengkulu Spatial Planning is good 2. Implementation of spatial policy Bengkulu is well enough but there are still some discrepancies that occur in the implementation. In the application of the Sustainable Urban Development concept is appropriate but the environmental issues become crucial issues encountered in the implementation of spatial policy in realizing about Sustainable Urban Development 3. The factors enabling in the implementation of spatial policy in Bengkulu are policy on Bengkulu spatial planning, socialization, liveliness implementor. While the factors inhibiting in this research are public awareness and land conversion.

Abstract

The phenomenon of coastal community life is always characterized by poverty and helplessness. The fishing community as a relatively dominant feature of the coastal community is often overwhelmed by unstable economic problems. This situation is very fantastic and contradictory, because the natural conditions that have the potential and abundant natural resources. The focus of this research is on the role of women who have a role as housewife and also as manager and marketing of catch fish from men. This study uses qualitative analysis which aims to reveal the problems that exist as detailed as possible on the condition of young coastal women with data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research is the ability and role of young woman is still low, just as fish seller only without doing any recondition again also not accommodate potential area that can be cultivated become income source, impressed not creative managing potency, have pragmatic thinking and minimal skill and leads to consumptive behavior. Cultures and values built across generations of women emphasize the role of women in support of husbands but have not developed logical mechanization that creativity, knowledge and expertise are essential to building a prosperous family. The systems and networks of existing programs related to the development of women are numerous but have no coherence to the development goals and their usefulness. Here it is necessary to sharpen all systems and values so that dynamic changes are needed to change the existing conditions. Keywords: culture, poverty, young women, value system.

Abstract

The number of complaints and complaints from the public on government services, both directly and indirectly, or through the mass media, such as complaints about convoluted service procedures, lack of certainty in the period of settlement, the amount of costs to be incurred, the absence of requirements transparency, and the attitude of officers or employees who are less responsive is a program faced in public services. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the application of responsibility and transparency in the Bengkulu Province Regional Financial Management Agency To obtain answers to the research problems, researchers used qualitative research methods. From the results of the study it was found that Transparency in the Office of the Regional Financial Management Agency of Bengkulu Province has implemented the principle of transparency to assist in the provision of services to the public that is helping to facilitate payments. The application of the principle of responsibility in the Office of the Regional Financial Management Agency of Bengkulu Province can be seen from the extent of the implementation of the activities of the Office of the Regional Financial Management Agency of Bengkulu Province in carrying out its duties and responsibilities to the community, for example with the satisfaction of service to the community, the constraints obtained in this responsibility, namely the service given is not satisfactory for the community because it has not yet completed the office facilities of the Bengkulu Province Regional Financial Management Office in accordance with applicable principles. Abstract

This research is the result of observations and interviews conducted by researchers to find out and analyze the Strategic Plan of North Bengkulu Regency. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the implementation of the Strategic Plan (Renstra) policy at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of North Bengkulu Regency 2016-2021 and see what are the inhibiting factors in the policy. The purpose of this research is to see the implementation of the Strategic Plan of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of North Bengkulu Regency in 2016-2021. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods. In this study the data used were primary and secondary data. Primary data is data taken directly at the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning North Bengkulu Regency, while secondary data is obtained from other parties through interview techniques, observation, documentation and literature study.The results of this study show that the strategic planning policies at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office are already running well in accordance with existing regulations, all strategic planning techniques are used to design activities for the next five years. In the target groups, the implementation of the Strategic Plan policy seems to have reached its objectives. The organization for implementing the Strategic Plan still has technical and administrative obstacles. The number of new regulations issued, the reduced funds proposed in the Renstra made the implementation of the Strategic Plan ineffective. There are still community groups that do not support the Renstra activities until the Renstra activities are hampered. thus reducing time efficiency for implementing Renstra activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe the application of digital transformation in data management for public services at the Bengkulu Province Regional Financial Management Agency in order to carry out public services. The results confirm that the application of digital transformation in data management for public services at the Bengkulu Province Financial Management Agency has been carried out well through programs and applications that are in accordance with the internal licensing service data structure. However, data management employees still need assistance by software developers. In addition, the application of digital transformation in data management still needs to be developed so that it can experience improvement in terms of coordination and cooperation with other related agencies externally

Abstract

This article aims to describe the implementation of public service innovations at the Bengkulu City Population and Civil Registry Office. The problem is focused on implementing public service innovations using the SLAWE program, and knowing the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the SLAWE program at the Bengkulu City Population and Civil Registry Office. To approach this problem, theoretical references from the results of studies and research at the Harvard JFK School of Government are used, namely the three elements of success in applying the digitalist concept to the government sector. The data were collected through observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This study concludes that the elements of successful e-government with indicators 1) support, 2) capacity, 3) value, have been carried out well and in accordance with existing regulations. Both are seen from the dissemination of information to the public, human resources according to the field and the benefits of the program. So for inhibiting factors only encountered such as network disturbances and blackouts.

Abstract

Partnerships between Government and the Private Sector in Public Services. Quality of public services will result in a positive response from the public so it needs a specific strategy in its implementation, one of which is by using Public Private Partnership (PPP). This study aims to describe and analyze the partnership that exists between the government and the private sector, describe and analyze the public response to the quality of service as well as explain the enabling and inhibiting factors in the implementation of public service in Fuel Filling Station of Fishermen (SPBN) Kampung Bahari, of Bengkulu city. The method used in this study used a qualitative approach. Quality of public services in SPBN Kampung Bahari get an appraisal "Good" of users but in terms of access and tangible gain diverse assessment due to locations that are not easily accessible by all users and the number of facilities SPBN that were in poor condition.
