Abstract

HIV/AIDS is public health problems, one of the causes HIV/AIDS is free seks. Until now it has not been found vaccine the prevention of HIV/AIDS and in medicine to treating HIV/AIDS, the best approach with health promotion using media of health promotion in the form of leaflets and posters product AIDS Commission district Jember. This research to analyze the difference of the effectiveness of leaflet and poster product AIDS commission district Jember in the behavior of hiv/aids prevention (a case study on the faculty of non Health University Jember student Cohort 2010). This research is experiments research with quasi design experiment, The total samples was 96 students on the faculty of non Health University Jember student Cohort 2010) and the analysis of using test willcoxon signed rank test, kruskal walls, as well as the Mann Whitney Test with a significance level of 5%. the Results of the research there is a difference in the effectiveness of leaflets and posters product AIDS commission district Jember on Aids Prevention, leaflets more effective in improving knowledge, attitudes and practice of prevention of HIV/AIDS compared to media posters Keywords: Effectiveness, Leaflet, Poster, Behavior of HIV/AIDS Prevention

Abstract

Clean and healthy behaviors which in Indonesia called PHBS is a embodiment of healthy paradigm on individual culture. This study aims to analyze the clean and healthy behaviors of Osing society in Kemiren village, Glagah distict, Banyuwangi. This study was an observational study which conducted in June-December 2013. The population of this study were all of families in Kemiren village, as many as 754 families. The sample of this study were 100 respondent which taken using simple random sampling methods. The analysis of the data using descriptive analysis. The results showed that the amount of respondents were men, more than 50 years old, had low level of education (elementary school) and had profesion as farmers.The behaviors of healthy latrines use is 54%, less healthy latrines use is 37%, and bad healthy latrines use is 9%. The behaviors of clean water use is 94% and not clean water use is 6%. The behaviors of respondent on using trash is 37% and not using trash is 63%. The behaviors of less healthy latrines use and the lack of using trash caused by the lack of respondents awareness on clean and healthy behaviors (PHBS). So, it needs to concerted effort on clean and healthy behaviors (PHBS) promotion. Keywords : Behaviors, PHBS, Osing society

Abstract

This article describes the implementation of CLTS (Community Lead Total Sanitation) are applied to change the unhealthy defecation behavior in the community of Kenongo village Sub Gucialit Lumajang successful in a short time. In general, the success of this program due to full community involvement in the form of awareness of the need for healthy living. Uniting perception program objectives and interests of the community do well through the 5 stages of CLTS triggers. This success is also supported by the real condition of the community of Kenongo village who already has material and immaterial capital in the form of local cultural values so that local capital could act as predeposisi, enabling and reinforcing. Abstract

Being a transvestites  is assumed  as deviate behaviour by our society. It is severed with negative stigmatization  as bad    image, dirty, criminal, and having  deviate  sexual orientation, cause this group of people have more risky toward psychological and sexual impact in transmision of STD    and HIV/AIDS. Sosialization proces is needed by transvestitesgeting acceptance in social environment, because transvestites  could not separate from social context. This study aims to analyze the stigmatization  and sosialization process toward transvestites and its impact for the increasing of transmission risk from   STD and HIV/AIDS.It was a qualitative study involved informants aged 25-54  with purposive sampling  in Semarang city. Data  was collected by indepht interview and they’re analyzed by thematic content analysis. The result of this study showed that stigmatization to transvestites was derived from public  society and religius community.  This  rejection  impacts at sosialization    process in family, work place  and society.  Because  our society  assume transvestites identical with deviate behaviour from the norm, and having tranvestites as the family member means ignominy. Consequently they choose as a urbant people.  It cause the increasing of transmission risk on STD and HIV/AIDS.  There are no obstacle in sosialization process with other transvestites  in cebongan. Cebongan is the place they can express themself without rejection from   others. So they can be received as normal individual.  Society is expected accepting  them as a part of their live, with involved them include transvestites with HIV/AIDS in society activity.Key words : Transvestites, stigmatization, sosialization process, STD and HIV/AIDS
