Abstract

The area of the Palace of Pakunegara Tayan, Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan, currently requires arrangement in the form of directions and guidelines of buildings and environment for the region so it could be ordering. The uncontrolled and rapid development reduces the carrying capacity of the environment, the building's growth does not follow the applicable rules are the main factors for regional management. This study used descriptive qualitative research methods. The descriptive qualitative method aims to describe the current situation to identify the existing conditions of the Keraton Pakunegara Tayan area. Besides, this approach used to examine cause and effect through the identification of symptoms from existing problems and from the analysis, the regional arrangement concept scheme made. The results of this study obtain two concepts of structuring the Pakunegara Tayan Palace Area, they are adaptive development and integrated development, where each concept developed and elaborated with urban design elements so can provide direction for the physical manifestation of the Urban Area, which refers to the Spatial Plan (RTR) as well as local socio-cultural norms/norms, to create environment well planned, orderly, safe, comfortable, harmonious, productive and sustainable in surroundings of the Keraton Pakunegara Tayan area.

Abstract

Not all humid tropical climate conditions could comfortably support the continuation of tropical human activities. With high humidity, the human who lives in a tropical area tends to need stronger winds so that the water vapor (sweat) that on the skin surface evaporates quickly and provides a cooling effect on the body so that thermal comfort can achieve. Increasing airflow speed can help by the addition of an area both in the inlet area and outlet, as long as the proportion of the area between the area inlet and outlet are appropriate. The quantitative research method used to determine the building condition thermal, such as the condition of the solar funnel with an inlet and outlet ratio of 1: 6 and an inlet and outlet ratio of 1: 1, so that an effective temperature value could be known to determine the thermal comfort level. The analysis result of the air velocity in the solar chimney the Inlet and Outlet ratio of 1: 6 is higher that is equal to 0.32 m / sec than in the Inlet and Outlet ratio solar chimney there is 1: 1 equal to 0.21 m / sec. Air velocity in the solar funnel with a 1: 6 ratio of Inlet and Outlet is 57.6% higher than solar chimney with a 1: 1 ratio of Inlet and Outlet.

Abstract

Kota Pontianak dewasa ini terus mengalami pembenahan dalam hal infrastruktur pendukung kota. Sebagai ibukota provinsi, Kota mulai berfokus dalam penataan kota secara komprehensif. Salah satunya lewat pemenuhan kebutuhan ruang koridor jalan. Ruang Publik yang didikung dengan kualitas akan mampu merangsang penggunanya untuk datang dan beraktifitas, konsepsi tentang persepsi lingkungan dapat diartikan interpretasi tentang suatu setting oleh individu, didasarkan atas latar belakang budaya, nalar, serta pengalaman individu tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dapat mengukur tingkat kenyamanan/ livibilitas ruang publik pada koridor  utama kota, yang dalam hal ini Jalan Ahmad yani melalui persepsi jalur pedestrian dan pesepeda dengan sasaran antara lain meliputi: identifikasi kondisi eksisting dan setting ruang jalur pedestrian dan pesepeda  di koridor Jalan Ahmad Yani yang berkaitan dengan aspek kenyamanan pengguna, identifikasi karakteristik pengguna Jalur pedestrian dan pesepeda di koridor jalan Ahmad Yani, analisis kondisi eksisting kaitannya dengan fasilitas penunjang jalur pedestrian dan pesepeda di Jalan Ahmad Yani kaitannya dengan aspek kenyamanan penggunanya, dan tingkat kenyamanan jalur pedestrian di Jalan Ahmad Yani melalui persepsi masyarakat sebagai pengguana jalur pedestrian dan pesepeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif Kuantitatif dengan kuisioner yang dipilih menyesuaikan kriteria tertentu. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu rekomendasi kriteria kenyamanan Jalur Pedestrian dan Pesepeda di Jalan Ahmad Yani Pontianak.CONVENIENCE OPTIMIZATION OF PEDESTRIAN SPACE AND BICYCLE PATH BASED ON USER COMFORT PERCEPTIONS ON AHMAD YANI STREET PONTIANAK The City of Pontianak today continues to experience improvements in supporting infrastructure for the city. As the provincial capital, the city began to focus on comprehensive urban planning. One of them is through the fulfillment of road corridor space needs. Public spaces supported by quality will be able to stimulate users to come and have activities; the conception of environmental perception can be interpreted as an individual's interpretation of a setting based on the individual's cultural background, reason, and experience. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of comfort/livability of public spaces in the City's main corridor. In this case,  Ahmad Yani Street, through the perception of pedestrian and cyclist paths with targets including identification of existing conditions and setting of space for pedestrian and cyclist lanes in the corridor of  Ahmad Yani Street, which relates to aspects of user comfort, identification of the characteristics of pedestrians and cyclists, analysis of the existing conditions concerning supporting facilities for pedestrian and cyclist lanes on Ahmad Yani Street about aspects of user comfort, and the level of comfort of pedestrian paths through the perception of the community as users of pedestrian and cyclist path. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with selected questionnaires according to certain criteria. The results of this study are the recommendation criteria for the convenience of the Pedestrian and Cycling Paths on Ahmad Yani Street-Pontianak.
