<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to determine the principle of accountability plays an important role for the formation of good governance (Good Government) and to know the form of good governance can play an important role for the formation of accountability. The research method used by the author is Normative Juridical, with data collection tools through literature study. The results of the study showed that Good Governance or good governance wherein the thought originated that the management of public administration is the main issue in achieving towards "clean government" and the Accountability Principle is the principle that determines that each activity and the final results of the activities of the Provider The state must be able to be accountable to the people or people as the holders of the highest sovereignty of the state.Keywords: Accountability, good goverment. AbstrakTujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui asas akuntabilitas memegang peran penting bagi terbentuknya pemerintahan yang baik (Good Goverment) dan untuk mengetahui bentuk pemerintahan yang baik bisa memegang peranan penting bagi terbentuknya akuntabilitas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah Yuridis Normatif, dengan alat pengumpul data melalui studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Good Governance atau pengelolaan pemerintahan yang baik dimana pemikiran tersebut bersumber bahwa pengelolaan administrasi publik merupakan issue utama dalam pencapaian menuju ”clean government” (pemerintahan yang bersih) dan Asas Akuntabilitas adalah asas yang menentukan bahwa setiap kegiatan dan hasil akhir dari kegiatan Penyelenggara Negara harus dapat dipertanggung jawabkan kepada masyarakat atau rakyat sebagai pemegang kedaulatan tertinggi negara.Kata Kunci : Akuntabilitas, good goverment.]]>
