Abstract

CV. XYZ adalah salah satu usaha yang bergerak di bidang makanan dan minuman di mana salah satu produknya adalah es dawet. Proses produksi es dawet memiliki beberapa proses produksi. Salah satu proses produksi es dawet adalah proses pemotongan daun pandan. Kondisi nyata pada proses pemotongan daun pandan tidak terdapat fasilitas kerja yang mendukung operator dalam melakukan aktivitas kerjanya. Operator melaksanakan pekerjaannya dengan postur tubuh berdiri. Fasilitas kerja yang digunakan oleh operator yakni drum dilapisi papan sebagai tempat pemotongan daun pandan. Hasil kuesioner SNQ yang diberikan kepada operator pemotongan daun pandan menunjukkan keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Salah satu faktor yang dapat menimbulkan risiko MSDs pada operator adalah postur kerja. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk mengukur nilai postur kerja operator adalah dengan menggunakan metode REBA. Hasil penilaian postur kerja operator tersebut termasuk ke dalam kategori level tindakan perbaikan sekarang juga dengan kategori berbahaya dan dapat menyebabkan risiko MSDs. Permasalahan tersebut diatasi dengan usulan perbaikan rancangan fasilitas kerja berupa meja kerja dan kursi kerja yang dirancang secara ergonomis berdasarkan dimensi antropometri tubuh manusia di indonesia. Hasil penilaian postur kerja usulan diperoleh level risiko yang kecil dimana tindakan yang harus dilakukan adalah mungkin diperlukan tindakan perbaikan. Kesimpulan yang didapat bahwa usulan perbaikan rancangan fasilitas ini mampu mengurangi risiko MSDs

Abstract

CV. XYZ adalah sebuah perusahaan yang memproduksi suku cadang mesin-mesin pengolahan kelapa sawit. Proses pemotongan dalam produksi suku cadang di CV.XYZ dilakukan dengan postur kerja jongkok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bahaya kondisi proses pemotongan dan merancang perbaikan fasilitas kerja. Metode yang digunakan adalah SNQ, QEC dan anthropometri. Hasil SNQ yang diperoleh adalah rata-rata operator mengalami keluhan pada bagian punggung dan kaki. Hasil QEC adalah rata-rata kategori tindakan dalam waktu dekat pada proses pemotongan. Hasil analisis QEC juga menunjukkan proses pemotongan tergolong berbahaya dan dapat menyebabkan keluhan musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs). Hasil antropometri adalah rancangan fasilitas kerja yang dibuat untuk mengurangi keluhan musculoskeletal disorder (MSDs). Rancangan fasilitas kerja berupa meja pemotongan dan kursi operator. Dimensi meja pemotongan adalah tinggi 66 cm, lebar 60 cm, panjang 315 cm dan tebal 13 cm. Dimensi kursi operator adalah lebar sandaran 44 cm, lebar kursi 44 cm, tinggi sandaran 42 cm, dan tinggi tempat duduk 40 cm

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi batako. Aktivitas pemindahan batako dari stasiun pengeringan tahap pertama menuju ke stasiun penyiraman dan pengeringan tahap kedua dilakukan secara manual. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner SNQ, diketahui bahwa para operator mengalami keluhan musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Metode yang digunakan untuk pemecahan masalah adalah analisa postur kerja dengan metode REBA dan pendekatan biomekanika dengan metode RWL, LI, dan MPL. Hasil yang diperoleh menyatakan bahwa aktivitas tersebut tergolong ke dalam tingkatan risiko sangat tinggi, serta rekomendasi batas berat beban yang seharusnya diangkat oleh operator adalah 6,76 Kg sedangkan nilai indeks LI yang diperoleh sebesar 3,25, serta batas besarnya gaya tekan (Fc) pada segmen L5/S1 adalah 10415,908 N. Keadaan tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa aktivitas tersebut tergolong kedalam kategori berbahaya dan dapat menyebabkan risiko MSDs. Permasalahan MSDs tersebut dipecahkan dengan memberikan usulan alat bantu pemindahan batako yang dirancang secara ergonomis. Alat bantu yang diusulkan berupa trolley dan pallet batako. Analisis setelah penerapan usulan alat bantu diperoleh bahwa aktivitas tersebut tergolong ke dalam tingkatan risiko kecil, dan rekomendasi batas berat beban yang seharusnya diangkat operator menjadi sebesar 25,98 Kg dan nilai indeks LI yang diperoleh lebih kecil dari 1 (LI<1) yakni sebesar 0,85, serta batas besarnya gaya tekan (Fc) pada segmen L5/S1 menjadi sebesar 6049,772 N. Keadaan tersebut menyatakan bahwa aktivitas tersebut sudah tergolong kedalam kategori aman.

Abstract

ATC (Air Traffic Control) merupakan pemandu lalu lintas udara yang menjadi rekan terdekat penerbang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di ATC Bandara XYZ yang sudah menjadi bandara berskala internasional yang membuat terjadinya kompleksitas lalu lintas udara baik dari dalam negeri maupun dari luar negeri sehingga tugas bagian ATC menjadi sangat sibuk. Operator ATC diharuskan mempunyai kecepatan dan ketepatan untuk mengolah informasi yang diperoleh dalam membuat keputusan yang tepat agar tidak terjadi kecelakaan. Persentase perkiraan penyebab kecelakaan transportasi udara di Indonesia adalah 60,71 % disebabkan oleh faktor manusia. Informasi tentang kecelakaan pesawat udara yang disebabkan oleh human error khususnya operator bagian ATC telah terjadi di Indonesia khususnya di Bandara XYZ yang disebabkan kesalahmengertian komunikasi antara ATC dengan pilot. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung nilai beban kerja yang dirasakan operator ATC khususnya bagian APP dan ACC. Pengukuran beban kerja secara subjektif yang digunakan adalah NASA-TLX yang terdiri dari  enam dimensi ukuran beban kerja, yaitu mental demand, physical demand, temporal demand, performance, effort, dan frustation level. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan yang dilakukan diperoleh 4 orang operator menilai beban kerja yang dirasakan optimal load (skor antara 40 sampai 60) sedangkan sisanya 8 orang operator menilai beban kerja yang dirasakan overload (di atas 60) dan dari operator ACC terdapat 4 orang operator yang merasakan optimal load dan sisanya 12 orang operator merasakan overload. Dari hasil uji pasti Fisher-Irwin diperoleh bahwa beban kerja operator APP independent terhadap pembagian shift kerja dan beban kerja operator ACC dependent terhadap pembagian shift kerja.

Abstract

PT. XYZ engaged in manufacture of spoon and fork with the kind of reservation make to stock. Price of spoon and fork on a PT. XYZ is more expensive than the production results of the spoon and fork Country China. It is caused due to the high production costs caused by the presence of waste activities. A study conducted in PT. XYZ aims at getting a low production cost (low cost production). To realize those goals companies must conduct an analysis of the activity of production to redesign activities by eliminating activities that do not add value thus lowering production costs. No value-added activity at PT. XYZ is the activity the transfer of materials. Activity Based Management (ABM) is a comprehensive and integrated approach that makes management attention was centred on activities conducted with the purpose of improving customer value and profits gained because it gives that value. ABM insists on controlling the activity through activity analysis. Results of the draft to improve the system by using the system of waging Merit Pay generating wage assignment without changing the wage standard has been set. For the results of the draft material transfer activity done by shortening the distance between the actual conditions of the machine of 251.91 m to 155.87 m and set a shorter transfer lines. By applying the results of the design will be achieved efficiency reduction production costs amounted to 0.23%

Abstract

XY Company is a food industry, which produced instant noodles. The problem which faced by company is highly percentage of defective product of about 8.9% which limit as stipulated by company is 3% of total production. The aim of the research is to reduce the quantity defect product and gives recomendation about repaiment proposed the quality of instant noodles using six sigma method. The result of the research was DPMO value about 17997.4234 with σ value 3.5, which world industry value level of about 6 σ (3.4 DPMO).Capability process was about 0.513 and index capability process was about 0.36 which showed the capability process was still low and average of processing still produced unspecifications product. Based on analyze step, the mostly defect product are broken noodles, defect packing, contamination. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) step obtained the most potential causing factor was loose chain cutter machine with RPN (Risk Priority Number) value 240. ANAVA test showed there was a significant factor between long sealer temperature and end sealer temperature. Recommendation for setting long sealer machine is 2150C, speed for cutter machine is 650 rpm and end sealer temperature is 1640C.

Abstract

Along with economic growth and increasing population led to the development of industry and energy consumption in the world, Among the various types of energy, fuel wood is thought to be the oldest energy sources used by humans . The problem is the use of firewood production is insufficient for the needs of sustainable consumption. In XYZ tofu makin industry that still use wood as a fuel acknowledges the high price of fuel used in the production process, for each week, it takes about 350 kg of firewood or equivalent for Rp. 450.000 for each week or about 58 kg at a price of Rp 75.000 for a day . Recommended alternative is the use of the use of rice husk as an alternative energy source material on the process of cooking tofu porridge. To convert waste rice husks into energy alternatives , then the required burner in accordance with the husk fuel. Husk stove is designed with the approach of Kansei Engineering is a method that brings together technology Kansei (feeling and emotion) with engineering disciplines. Through the results of questionnaires obtained 9 kansei words into positive husk stove design parameters. According to the results of the calculation of the need to heat the slurry chaff needs to know by one time cooking takes 49 kg of rice husk, so for one day of production required chaff as much as 197,2 kg or equivalent to Rp 29.800

Abstract

UD. ABC is one of the small industries engaged in the manufacture of white crackers. The condition in drying station is a facility that is not ergonomic and static posture workers. Workers had complaints of pain in several parts of his body. Sick workers are perceived as hunched position (300) is currently drafting up a nest crackers (crackers drying container). Parts of the body have a very sick sense that the knees and feet. This pain is felt because of the position of the foot is not balanced (bending> 600) and work facilities that do not fit so make frequent leg cramps. REBA method used to assess the posture of the workers. Analysis of REBA worksheet shows a high level of risk experienced by workers during the production activities that take place in the drying station. The results of design study work facilities are table and chair that are tailored to the dimensions of the body, so that implemented is expected to eliminate the pains felt by workers.

Abstract

UD. XYZ is a company that produces crackers. The condition of real floor production found a lot of activity manual one of them is the frying. Physical workload examined in order to determine the energy consumption and % CVL. Based on Standard Nordic Questionnaire (SNQ) that are spread, known that women operators had the highest percentage of very sick category is 47.4%, and male about 28.2%. Measurements for the women showed that 80% of energy consumption carriers are in the weight category is 351-379 Kcal / h while the men only 20% were in the severe category. Based on %CVL operators are in a category of women operators needed repairs and operators of men only 60% who are in the category of necessary repairs the rest are in the category of fatigue does not occur.

Abstract

Marine fisheries sector is a source of community livelihood in the coastal area. Hajoran village in Tapanuli Tengah district is a coastal area with great potential in fishery sector, especially marine fishery. Fisherman Hajoran uses a rectangular bamboo arrangement measuring 10m x 10m which is plugged in the middle of the waters to catch fish. Some of the fish are sold in fresh condition while others are salted. The salted fish only sold the body parts while the salted fish head will be chopped into smaller pieces by the artisans. The process of enumeration is done using a machete with a work posture sitting bent, bent knees and bent legs. Crafters complain of pain on the wrist, shoulders, waist, buttocks and knees so difficult to be able to stand up after the enumeration process is complete. Fish replicating craftsmen provide input in the form of SNQ questionnaires to analyze their grievances over the years. The activity takes a long time, the quality of fish count is not uniform, low production capacity and cause pain in the limbs. Community service activity is aimed at increasing the productivity of shrimp fish craftsman. The effort is accompaniment by the ergonomics team, the giving of lecture materials, the training of ergonomic work facility and the improvement of working method so that the active participation of crafters is needed. Utilization of mechanical fish counter is a solution to increase the productivity of fish crackers. The resulting fish yields will have an adjustable subtlety, good quality, short time and ergonomic design. Improvement of work methods performed by the team of devotion causes the crafters to work more comfortable resulting in increased productivity.
