Abstract

ABSTRACT The caries disease dental and oral health problems are high in Indonesia. The cause of caries disease one of which is the bacterium Streptococcus mutans. Efforts to prevent one of them with natural ingredients that lime peel. In lime peel essential oils are substances that are useful as antibacterial and phenols contained in the essential oil can denature bacterial cell proteins. The objective of this  the effect of lime juice on the skin inhibition of Streptococcus mutans bacteria.This is a quasi experimental study (quasi-experimental). Research subjects bacterium Streptococcus mutans. The study was conducted using a concentration of 10%, 20%, 40%, and 80% respectively - each concentration done 3x treatment. The data was analyzed with parametric test using ANOVA followed by Post Hoc test.The results showed a large area of inhibition of the average juice lime peel with a 10% concentration of 7.73 mm, a 20% concentration of 9.13 mm, a 40% concentration of 10.54 mm, and the concentration of 80% by 14.23 mm. Anova  analysis showed a significant  (p 0.05)  indicates that there is an influence juice lime peel in inhibiting the growth of Streptococcus mutans.The higher of the concentration, the greater the inhibition of the bacterium Streptococcus mutans. Abstract

TITLEEFFECTIVENESS CONSUMING PINEAPPLE (ANANAS COMOSUS) AND STAR FRUIT (AVERRHOA CARAMBOLA L) TOWARD PLAQUE SCOREABSTRACTPineapple and Star fruit are one of the fruits that has water content and fiber that many. Pineapple sources of vitamin C and manganese, this fruit also contains substances that can maintain bone strength and help digestion. Fresh fruit contains 10% sugar, half is the remaining sucrose glucose and fructose. Pineapple fruit rich in fiber can reliably increase saliva production (saliva), clean teeth and mouth and strengthen the gums. While starfruit contains epitekin compounds that are bactericidal. Research purposes this is to know the effectiveness of pineapple and star fruit consumption toward  plaque score.This research is an experimental research with the design of  Pre and Post Test Group Design. The sample of this research is MI Darut Taqwa Meteseh, Tembang, Semarang as many as 60 students divided by 4 intervention groups. Interventions taken are consuming star fruit juice, pineapple juice, chewing starfruit and pineapple. Dental plaque scores were measured using the index  PHP. Data analysis using a t-test.The research result from score plaque drink juice star fruit and chew starfruit with p = 0,001 so there is the difference of plaque score between drinking star fruit juice by chewing star fruit. Score plaque group who drank pineapple juice and chewed pineapple with p = 0.017 so there was a difference in plaque score between drinking pineapple juice by chewing pineapple. Consume fruit by chewing more down the plaque score compared to drinking fruit juice. Abstract

 Education is to change behavior for the better. The period of new norm, learning process most activities are carried out independently from home using e-learning. E-learning is an educational system or concept that utilizes information technology in the teaching and learning process. To measure the success of the teaching and learning process, application camputer base test (CBT) is needed that can be applied remotely.Method community dedication is the application of the results of the research prototype  application analysis of the final exam for the even semester of the Konsep Dasar Pelayanan Asuhan Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut for the  2019/2020 based on validity, reliability, differentiation, difficulty level, and deceptive effectiveness. The results have been proven in research by Lecturers of the Department of Dental Health at Health Polytechnic Semarang and are sustanable for use. The target of this community service is the lecturers and students of the the Department of Dental Health at Health Polytechnic Semarang in the even  2020/2021.The result of community dedication was a redesign of the application  camputer base test (CBT) in collaboration with monev.co. The next step by sosialization about computer-based test (CBT) and tested for students of the D III Dental Health Study Program and the D IV Dental Therapy Study Program. Responses from students felt helped by the application used because it can be used other than on a laptop / PC but can be used on an Android Phone cell; can bring up the work timer timer; marking questions when in doubt; there is a temporary save feature which helps when the internet connection is lost; the results / test scores can be found some time after the exam is over. Whereas Lecturers are helped because of the monitoring menu for students who take exams; start opening the application; start doing exam questions; completion of the exam and the menu for correcting student exam questions and publication of grades. The reports generated from the computer-based exam / computer base test (CBT) application are validity, reliability, differentiation, difficulty level, and distractor effectiveness of the questions used.The conclusion of this community dedication  is a computer-based test (CBT) in collaboration with monev.co which can be used to measure the success of the online teaching and learning process for students in the Department of Dental Health at Health Polytechnic Semarang during the new norm. Suggestions from the results of this community service is an integration menu about vignete which has been declared good with the web https://www.sims-nakes.org/banksoal-diknakes.
