Abstract

ABSTRACT   The evapotranspiration value of plant can be determined based on the potential evaporation value and the crop coefficient for each species from its growth period. The objective of this research is to determine the crop coefficient values of Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.), Caisim (Brassica juncea L.), and Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) on Inceptisol soil with the addition of compost. The results showed that the soil texture of each planting medium was sandy loam, with the ranges of organic materials content of 5.89-6.25%, the ranges of porosity were 52.95-53.87-%, moisture capacity for each plants (Pakcoy, Caisim, and Lettuce) were 46.46%, 44.31%, and 47.87%, dry weight of each plants (Pakcoy, Caisim, and Lettuce) were 75 gr, 85 gr, and 35 gr, and then the value of the crop coefficient for Pakcoy, Caisim and Lettuce in the middle period of growth (16-30 days) were 0.44; 0.60 and 0.50. As well as the value of the crop coefficient of Pakcoy, Caisim and Lettuce in the final phase of growth (31-45 days) were 0.30; 0.31 and 0.44.   Keywords: Crop coefficient of plants, pakcoy, caisim, lettuce, inceptisol, compost. ABSTRAK Nilai evapotranspirasi tanaman dapat ditentukan berdasarkan nilai evaporasi potensial dan koefisien tanaman untuk setiap spesies tanaman dari periode pertumbuhannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan nilai koefisien beberapa tanaman Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.), Caisim (Brassica  juncea L.), dan Selada (Lactuca sativa L.)  pada tanah Inceptisol dengan pembenahan kompos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan untuk masing-masing media tanam, tekstur tanah berupa lempung berpasir dengan kandungan bahan organik berkisar 5,89- 6,25%, porositas berkisar 52,95-53,87%, kadar air kapasitas lapang untuk tanaman Pakcoy, Caisim dan Selada masing-masing sebesar 46,46%, 44,31% dan 47,87%, berat kering tanaman untuk tanaman Pakcoy, Caisim dan Selada pada fase akhir (31-45 hari) masing-masing sebesar 75 gr, 85 gr, dan 35 gr, nilai koefisien tanaman Pakcoy, Caisim dan Selada pada periode tengah pertumbuhan (16-30 hari) berturut-turut sebesar 0,44; 0,60 dan 0,50 serta pada fase akhir pertumbuhan (31-45hari) berturut-turut sebesar 0,30; 0,31 dan 0,44.   Kata Kunci: Koefisien tanaman, pakcoy,  caisim, selada, inceptisol, kompos.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   The decline in agricultural land area in Indonesia causes agricultural cultivation to be a constraint in the provision of land to overcome increasing food needs, thus encouraging the agricultural sector to overcome these obstacles by increasing the application of narrow land agriculture such as hydroponic fertigation system on pakcoy. This study was aimed to examine the fertigation of hydroponic cropping method on pakcoy. Research was at screen house scale consisted of 2 treatments and 26 replications, ie watering for 6 and 8 hours. The parameters were the concentration of AB mixed nutrient solution, water discharge, wet weight and dry weight of plant, and economic analysis.The results showed that the concentration of AB mixed solution were 3.12% N, 0,0000003% P, and 3.76% K, the average initial water discharge for 6 hours was 1.40 x 10-3 l s, for watering for 8 hours was 1.05 x 10-3 l/s, and the final average water discharge for watering for 6 hours was 6.24 x 10-3 l/s, for irrigation for 8 hours was 4.67 x 10-3 l/s, the wet weights of pakcoy plants was ranged from 70.33 to 72.03g and the dry weight of pakcoy plants was ranged from 1.27 to 1.32 g, and the fixed cost was Rp 279.023,5/year, no  fixed the cost was Rp 28.6/hour, basic cost in the first year was Rp 296.2/kg, and cost of goods in the fifth year was Rp 94.1/kg. Keywords: ABmix, Fertigation, Hydroponics, Nutrition, Pakcoy ABSTRAK   Penurunan luasan lahan pertanian di Indonesia menyebabkan kegiatan budidaya pertanian mengalami kendala dalam penyediaan lahan untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan yang semakin meningkat, sehingga mendorong sektor pertanian untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut dengan meningkatkan penerapan pertanian lahan sempit seperti sistem fertigasi hidroponik pada tanaman pakcoy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji fertigasi dengan metode hidroponik pada tanaman pakcoy. Penelitian dalam skala rumah kasa terdiri dari 2 perlakuan dan 26 ulangan, yaitu pengairan selama 6 jam dan pengairan selama 8 jam. Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsentrasi larutan nutrisi AB mix, debit air, bobot basah dan bobot kering tanaman, dan analisis ekonomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi larutan AB mix yakni 3,12% N, 0,0000003% P, dan 3,76% K, debit air awal rata-rata untuk pengairan selama 6 jam yakni 1,40 x 10-3 l/s, untuk pengairan selama 8 jam yakni 1,05 x 10-3 l/s, dan debit air akhir rata-rata untuk pengairan selama 6 jam yakni 6,24 x 10-3 l/s, untuk pengairan selama 8 jam yakni 4,67 x 10-3 l/s, bobot basah tanaman pakcoy berkisar 70,33 – 72,03 g dan bobot kering tanaman pakcoy berkisar 1,27 – 1,32 g, dan analisis ekonomi yakni biaya tetap Rp 279.023,5/tahun, biaya tidak tetap Rp 28,6/jam, biaya pokok pada tahun pertama Rp 296,2/kg, dan biaya pokok pada tahun kelima Rp 94,1/kg.   Kata Kunci: ABmix, Fertigasi, Hidroponik, Nutrisi, Pakcoy
