Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membandingkan pengaruh penggunaan 3 jenis konsentrat (KGP 709, Hi-Grow, Menara dan campuran ketiganya), terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik pada ternak babi. Materi yang digunakan adalah 12 ekor ternak babi kastrasi peranakan landrace berumur 1,5-2 bulan dengan berat badan awal 13,00 – 19,00 kg (KV = 11,09%). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas empat perlakuan, R1: Pollard (50%) + Jagung (25%) + Konsentrat KGP 709 (25%), R2: Pollard (50%) + Jagung (25%) + Konsentrat Hi-Grow 152 (25%), R3: Pollard (50%) + Jagung (25%) + Konsentrat Menara (25%), R4: Pollard (50%) + Jagung (25%) + Konsentrat KGP 709 (8,3%) + Konsentrat Hi-Grow 152 (8,3%) + Konsentrat Menara (8,3%). Variabel yang diteliti adalah: konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi dan kecernaan bahan kering dan bahan organik. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan 3 jenis konsentrat dan campuran ketiga konsntrat tersebut dalam pakan berbasis pollard menghasilkan kececernaan yang relatif sama dan penggunaan ketiganya secara bersama (R4) secara empiris memberikan hasil yang relatif lebih baik. Disarankan agar penggunaan pollard harus ditambahkan konsentrat sesuai standar pemberian dan umur babi yang tepat dan akan lebih baik dalam bentuk campuran beberapa jenis konsentrat. The study aimed at evaluating the effect of including 3 different concentrate feeds (KGP 709, Hi-Grow, Menara and their mixture) into pollard based-feeds on dry and organic matter intake and digestibility in pig. There were 12 landrace crossbred barrows 1.5-2 months old with 13,00 – 19,00 kg (KV = 11,09%) initial body weight. Complete block design 4 treatments with 3 replicates procedure was applied in the study. The 4 treatment feeds were formulated as: R1: Pollard (50%) + corn meal (25%) + concentrate KGP 709 (25%); R2: Pollard (50%) + corn meal (25%) + concentrate Hi-Grow 152 (25%); R3: Pollard (50%) + corn meal (25%) + concentrate Menara (25%); and R4: Pollard (50%) + corn meal (25%) + concentrate KGP 709 (8.3%) + consentrat Hi-Grow 152 (8.3%) + concentrate Menara (8.3%). The variable studied were: dry and organic matter intake and digestibility in pig. The results show that effect of treatment is not significant (P>0,05) on either intake or digestibility of either dry matter or organic matter in pig. The conclusion is that including the 3 different concentrates and their mixture perform the similar result in both intake and digestibility of both dry matter and organic matter in pig, which empiricaly the mixture (R4) relatively performs higher results. It is advisavle to include feed contrate in pollard-based feeds and would be better in the mixture of concentrates.
