Abstract

ABSTRAKModulus kehalusan agregat berperan dalam membentuk workability campuran beton segar. Pada perancangan campuran beton cara SNI 03-2834-2000, parameter modulus kehalusan agregat gabungan tidak diikutsertakan dalam penentuan kebutuhan jumlah air yang diperlukan untuk mencapai nilai slump rencana tetapi menentukan workability beton segar. Mengingat SNI 03-2834-2000 tidak menyertakan parameter ini, maka dilakukan penelitian lanjut untuk mengetahui fenomena fisika modulus kehalusan agregat dalam campuran beton. Berdasarkan analisis formulasi modulus kehalusan, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa fenomena fisika yang terjadi pada modulus kehalusan adalah fenomena rangkaian seri pegas yang berperan dalam membentuk kekakuan campuran beton segar. Penelitian berdasarkan data sekunder ini membuktikan bahwa sesungguhnya parameter modulus kehalusan agregat gabungan telah disertakan dalam menentukan kebutuhan jumlah air, namun dipersyaratkan di dalam persyaratan batas gradasi agregat gabungan dalam bentuk rentang nilai modulus kehalusan yang dengan sendirinya menghasilkan nilai slump dalam bentuk rentang tanpa menyebutkan parameter modulus kehalusan agregat gabungan.Kata kunci: modulus kehalusan, campuran beton, slump ABSTRACTThe aggregate fineness modulus plays a key role in the function of freshly mixed concrete workability. In the concrete mix design based on SNI 03-2834-2000, the combined aggregate fineness modulus parameter is not included in determining the amount of water required to achieve the planned slump value but determining the workability of fresh concrete. In view of this parameter is not included in the SNI 03-2834-2000, so further research was carried out to evaluate the physical phenomena found in the aggregate fineness modulus in the concrete mixtureThe results of the analysis of the fineness modulus formulation indicated that the physical phenomenon found in the fineness modulus was the phenomenon of a series of springs that played a role in forming the stiffness of the fresh concrete mix. This research was successfully conducted based on secondary data, and the results showed that the aggregate fineness modulus parameter had actually been included in determining the amount of water required, but was included in the aggregate gradation limit requirements in the form of a fine modulus value range, which in turn automatically generated the slump value in  range form without specifying the parameter.Keywords: fineness modulus, concrete mix design, slump
