Abstract

Some people always underestimate  teachers. A  person as teachers do not preserve their personality; whereas, from the side of tauhid, teaching profession is a very noble job and should be given a high honor. Why? Because the tasks undertaken by the teachers have the relationship with the existence of what has been done by God, Allah, to all His creators, as teaching, educating, leading, guiding, and preserving. On the other hand, a teacher must have a personality with divine attributes (rabbaniyah), such as love and gentle, honest, virtuous, patient, has a broad and deep knowledge, clean or avoid sin, humble and forgiving, and others. Keywords: Teacher, Theology, Islam.Copyright © 2015 by Al-Talim All right reserved

Abstract

AbstractIn Padangsidimpuan has evolved Cultural Islamic religious thought. Therefore the majority of scholars and muslim communities in Padangsidimpuan more likely to Cultural Islamic religious thought, namely that bring the Islam with culture, and perform religious traditions that do not exist at the time of the Holy Apostles; such as the Great Feast Days of Islam, Dhikr Akbar, Perwiridan, and others. Then in the last few years has grown to a group of scholars and muslim religious community sensible of Islam Fundamental, which preach a return to the Qur'an and Hadith are pure and intact, and leave the religious traditions that do not exist at the time of the Holy Apostles, as it is a heresy is heresy. This has led to mutual blame and confuse some people lay. For that, need to be investigated responses scholars and muslim intellectuals on the issue.Key Word: Islamic, Cultural, Fundamental, scholars, intellectuals.

Abstract

AbstrakAl-Quran as the words of God revealed to the Prophet Muhammad become a way of life to man is not only to teach about faith, worship, laws and morality, but the Quran also describes about things related to science. In the Quran there is the term al-nazhr, al-fikr,al-aql, and al-qalb which suggests some form of scientific methodology. Scientific methodology revealed this Quran has been practiced by the scientists and philosophers, the method of observation(al-nazhr), method of rational thinking(al-fikrand al-aql), as well as intuitive method(al-qalb). But according to the Quran, the use of these methods is to get the truth in order to strengthening the faith(dzikrullah).Kata kunci :al-Nazhr, al-Fikr, al-Aql, dan al-Qalb.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengangkat tema tentang epistemologi ilmu dalamal-Qur’an. Ilmu sesungguhnya telah banyak diperbincangkandalam untaian ayat-ayat suci al-Qur’an, namun banyak di antarakita belum mengerti hakikat ilmu itu sendiri. Tema ini bertujuanuntuk menunjukkan bahwa al-Qur’an sesungguhnya mengandungbanyak ilmu pengetahuan yang diterjemahkan ke dalam ayatayat kauniyah. Untuk itu penulis membahas tema ini denganmenggunakan metode falsaf untuk mengungkap kebenaran alQur’an dalam mengungkap aspek-aspek pengetahuan. Hasilnyaadalah suatu metode keilmuan yang ditawarkan oleh al-Qur’anmemiliki banyak ragam yaitu berupa metode observasi (baya>ni),metode demonstratif (burha>ni) dan metode intuitif (‘irfa>ni).Semua metode tersebut merupakan metode epistemologis dalammengungkap hakikat ilmu pengetahuan tersebut.

Abstract

The research aims to describe of perception toprofesional lecture IAIN Padangsidimpuanconcicst of: (1) pedagogic competence, (2) personality competence, (3) professional competence, (4) social competence. Kind of this research is survey research of students IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The subject of research are students of IAIN Padangsidimpuan that is listed as active student on academic year 2013-2104. The students in III (third), V(fifth), and VII (seventh) semester. The population totally 2695 students, and for the research sample totally 270 students.Instrument of collecting data doneby use research questioner. Data is collected analysed by descriftive analysis,althoughcentral dispasing or with presentaceThe result researchshow that: (1) students perception of IAIN Padangsidimpuan to pedagogic competence 19,6% very good, 67,1% good, and 13,3% enough, (2) students perception of IAIN Padangsidimpuan to personality competence 79,1% very good, and 20,9% good, (3) students perception of IAIN Padangsidimpuan to profesional competence 72% very good, and 28% good, and (4) students perception of IAIN Padangsidimpuan to social competence 75,1% very good and 24,9% good.

Abstract

Parents play an important role in instructing and advising adolescents in performing prayers but there are still many teenagers who do not do fardu prayer. From that the researcher wanted to know about the parents' efforts and the obstacles they faced in guiding the implementation of adolescent prayer for social media users in Pargarutan Dolok, East Angkola District. This research method with a descriptive approach in the form of qualitative research that seeks to describe according to phenomena, events and social activities. Data collection through observation and interviews in Pargarutan Dolok, Angkola Timur District, South Tapanuli Regency. The results of the study showed that parents in guiding the implementation of prayer by adolescents who are social media users by giving advice to adolescents to carry out fardu prayers then told adolescents to perform fardu prayers. The obstacles faced by parents in guiding the implementation of adolescent prayer services for social media users are the lack of religious awareness in adolescents, economic and occupational factors, knowledge factors and various kinds of television media and mobile phones

Abstract

Cultural and religious values of life for the people in South Tapanuli form the perspective of philosophy and various local wisdom. One of the principles they hold strongly is known as 3H they are; hamoraon (character and wealth), hagabeon (successful offspring) and hasangapon (influential and respectable). This research focused on how the 3H principles strongly encourage parents to provide knowledge for the future preparation of their children. Muslim communities are fanatics in religion, meanwhile the most dominant value in giving encouragement to school is not religious teachings, since religion is only a supporting factor of learning (Q.S. 58:11), and the cultural view of 3H is as the basis of the education. It was carried out by in-depth interview techniques with a sociological approach to respondents who were intentionally searched and determined, and the parents or families who were relatively successful in school and in changing lives, and also respectable in the community. It is found that the community is firmed with the 3H value, in which parents were tireless, even sacrificing everything so that their children succeed in enjoying welfare, prosperity and living respect.Nilai-nilai budaya dan agama bagi masyarakat di Tapanuli Selatan membentuk perspektif filsafat dan berbagai kearifan lokal. Salah satu prinsip yang mereka pegang dengan kuat yaitu yang dikenal sebagai 3H; hamoraon (karakter dan kekayaan), hagabeon (keturunan sukses) dan hasangapon (berpengaruh dan terhormat). Penelitian ini berfokus pada seberapa kuat prinsip 3H mendorong orang tua untuk memberikan pengetahuan bagi persiapan masa depan anak-anak mereka. Komunitas Muslim fanatik dalam agama, sedangkan nilai yang paling dominan dalam memberikan dorongan kepada sekolah bukanlah ajaran agama, karena agama hanya merupakan faktor pendukung pembelajaran (Q.S. 58:11), dan pandangan budaya 3H adalah sebagai dasar pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam dengan pendekatan sosiologis kepada responden yang dipilih dan ditentukan, serta melibatkan orang tua atau keluarga yang relatif sukses dalam pendidikan dan dalam mengubah kehidupan, juga dihormati di masyarakat. Ditemukan bahwa masyarakat teguh dengan nilai 3H, di mana orang tua tidak kenal lelah, bahkan mengorbankan segalanya sehingga anak-anak berhasil berhasil menikmati kesejahteraan, kemakmuran dan penghormatan hidup.
