Abstract

The research aims to describe of perception toprofesional lecture IAIN Padangsidimpuanconcicst of: (1) pedagogic competence, (2) personality competence, (3) professional competence, (4) social competence. Kind of this research is survey research of students IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The subject of research are students of IAIN Padangsidimpuan that is listed as active student on academic year 2013-2104. The students in III (third), V(fifth), and VII (seventh) semester. The population totally 2695 students, and for the research sample totally 270 students.Instrument of collecting data doneby use research questioner. Data is collected analysed by descriftive analysis,althoughcentral dispasing or with presentaceThe result researchshow that: (1) students perception of IAIN Padangsidimpuan to pedagogic competence 19,6% very good, 67,1% good, and 13,3% enough, (2) students perception of IAIN Padangsidimpuan to personality competence 79,1% very good, and 20,9% good, (3) students perception of IAIN Padangsidimpuan to profesional competence 72% very good, and 28% good, and (4) students perception of IAIN Padangsidimpuan to social competence 75,1% very good and 24,9% good.

Abstract

Nation is being growing like Indonesia enough dynamic and beyond question blocked by various problems. One of between it was since the year 1998, Indonesia has done commitment jama'i to migrate life of nation from autoritary leadership towards democratic nature and bases on enableness of public with a hope is realized by it residence area having freedom of berkreasi by respecting social justice principle in framing state having philosophy Five Principles and UUD 1945. One of fundamental core which must get attention from thinker, observer, practitioner and stakeholder education to invitors Sistem Pendidikan Nasional is that any form, type, the line and education ladder in this state has the same rights and position. Including intitusi education in The Ministry of Religious affairs follows and bows in the order, with all consequences in its the applying. Its the implementation is public? people obliged to return to applies its (the partisifasi rights in developing quality of education, so that education returns to one with public as in early days growing of in Indonesia, as Ki Hajar Dewantara with its the Taman Siswa, modern Islamic sckool model of Ahmad Dahlan which always is continued Muhammadiyah, and Hasyim Asy'ari with Pesantren Salafiyah is growing mushroom below under upbringing of the Kiyai NU, and various other education institute types.

Abstract

Surah al-‘Alaq is a guidance suggested by Allah to guide people life in this world and eternal life hereafter. Morality massage of this verse is to manage life by tawhid basic. Tawhid or faith to Allah has a fundamental and strategic value in life journey of a moslem as a personal and also in a comunal in a civilization. But this verse signs that faith can not be emerge without a knowledge (understanding the nature as a creation of Allah). So, in this context, knowledge becomes as a significant to create the truth faith. Knowledge is a tool to understand Allah and makes people can understand the truth of Allah. So, the nature is a medium to understand Allah correctly and to study it is a must by ‘ainul yakin approach. The problem is that education paradigm in epistemologi and aksiologi positioned simply and tends pragmatically by securalism and materialism basic. It makes a civilization prinsiple emerge without humanity appreciation. So that, education Tawhid (unity of one God) must be reseach and master knowledge (science-nature) as a part to streghten the faith, function and duty of life. If it is not, the knowledge will not make the goodness for people but keeping away from Allah and earth will not become the good place for resident.

Abstract

AbstrakSelain kualifikasi akademik, dosen harus memiliki 4 (empat) kompetensi, yaitu kompetensi professional, kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, dan kompetensi social, dengan bukti memperoleh sertifikat pendidik. Pelaksanaan sertifikasi dosen yang telah berlangsung beberapa tahun secara umum telah berjalan secara efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kinerja dosen. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan jumlah penulisan ilmiah dan buletin, namun dalam bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran masih terdapat dosen yang belum maksimal melaksanakan proses perkuliahan. Hambatan yang dihadapi antara lain masih rendahnya pemahaman sebagian dosen terhadap tugas dan beban kerja yang harus dilaksanakannya, dan sebagian dosen masih rendah tingkat kesadaran untuk melaksanakan tugas Tridharma Perguruan Tingginya. AbstractIn addition to academic qualifications, lecturess must have 4 (four) competencies: professional competence, pedagogical competence, personal competence and social competence by having teacher certificate. Lecturer certification implemen-tation that has lasted several years in general have been effective and can improve the performance of lecturers. It can be seen from the increasing number of scientific writing and bulletins, but in the field of education and teaching there are lecturers who have not been up to implement the lecture. Barriers faced by, among others, is the lack of understanding most of the lecturers of the task and the workload that must be implemented, and some professors still low level of awareness of Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi.

Abstract

Islam bukanlah ajaran agama yang statis, akan tetapi ajaran yang dapat berkembang dengan kemampuan akal pikiran setiap muslim untuk menempatkannya sebagai rahmat bukan sebagai penghambat kemajuan dan dinamika sosial. Islam selalu dinamis dengan dokma yang mampu merangkum serta memberi solusi dalam setiap historitas manusia tanpa kehilangan identitas. Islam akan dapat memberi solusi disetiap problema dan benturan hidup manusia. Tentu dengan sarat jangan ada orang atau ilmuan yang ngotot paling benar dan memiliki pandangan bahwa mereka yang memiliki perbedaan adalah sesat. Manusia hanya mampu berargumentasi dan mesti arif menarik sintesis mempedomani yang paling muktabar. Inilah sesungguhnya watak muslim sejati, dan ini yang diharapkan oleh banyak ilmuan yang berjiwa demokratis. Beda pemahaman adalah sebuah khazanah yang memperkaya makna agama itu sendiri yang selalu ditelaah tanpa henti, sepanjang manusia itu punya keperdulian. Tulisan ini menguraikan tentang peluang Epistemologi Irfani yakni pemanfaatan hati-nurani dalam membentuk sikap inklusivisme untuk mewujudkan kedamaian dan keakaraban berdampingan baik sesama muslim secara internal maupun antar masyarakat dengan wajah pluralitasnya khususnya di Indonesia.

Abstract

Knowledge integration is critical, for that it is necessary to build an integrated curriculum, namely a curriculum that has a link between revelation and science as well as an Islamic school environment arrangement. This is what SMP IT Bunayya does in educating its students. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The research subjects were the principal and the school management, who handled the curriculum. Data was collected through interviews, document studies, and observation. Data processing is carried out by unit processing, categorization, and interpretation. The results showed that knowledge integration at SMP IT Bunayya was an integration model with two patterns: First, the model of integration into the curriculum package, namely the integration of aspects of cognitive, affective, psychomotor, etc., spirituality, and social values. Second, the model of integration into the lesson's themes, namely in the design of learning. Meanwhile, the coaching model to achieve the integrated curriculum is carried out with several activities: bina taqwa night, scouts, aqil baligh talk show, daily practice, and outing class.

Abstract

The study was conducted to find out the strategic effort in increasing achievement motivation as a trigger factor of student effort. This study administered some instrument in collecting the data such as interviews, observation, focus group discussion. Other data was gained from documents. It was found that the systems which were implemented in this school are first, involving many teachers to carry out the extracurricular activities and second, creating a full day school, because in the afternoon until late at night the students were mostly in school. Many students come from various regions to pursue diverse opportunities to improve learning achievement. Life challenges as a boarding boy which is relatively free at their boarding house encourage them to have  high achievement motivation. Some of them even stronger in which they work part time to fulfill their school fee and be able to ward off all the challenges and glamorous lifestyle around their dwelling which has lots of social facilities such as online game houses, cafes and 24-hour food outlets; promiscuity and other morality abuses. Athough there are still little number of the students who were dropped out from school as a result of being unable to control themselves but there exist a number of successful students and their achievements increase rapidly that take them to higher education

Abstract

Cultural and religious values of life for the people in South Tapanuli form the perspective of philosophy and various local wisdom. One of the principles they hold strongly is known as 3H they are; hamoraon (character and wealth), hagabeon (successful offspring) and hasangapon (influential and respectable). This research focused on how the 3H principles strongly encourage parents to provide knowledge for the future preparation of their children. Muslim communities are fanatics in religion, meanwhile the most dominant value in giving encouragement to school is not religious teachings, since religion is only a supporting factor of learning (Q.S. 58:11), and the cultural view of 3H is as the basis of the education. It was carried out by in-depth interview techniques with a sociological approach to respondents who were intentionally searched and determined, and the parents or families who were relatively successful in school and in changing lives, and also respectable in the community. It is found that the community is firmed with the 3H value, in which parents were tireless, even sacrificing everything so that their children succeed in enjoying welfare, prosperity and living respect.Nilai-nilai budaya dan agama bagi masyarakat di Tapanuli Selatan membentuk perspektif filsafat dan berbagai kearifan lokal. Salah satu prinsip yang mereka pegang dengan kuat yaitu yang dikenal sebagai 3H; hamoraon (karakter dan kekayaan), hagabeon (keturunan sukses) dan hasangapon (berpengaruh dan terhormat). Penelitian ini berfokus pada seberapa kuat prinsip 3H mendorong orang tua untuk memberikan pengetahuan bagi persiapan masa depan anak-anak mereka. Komunitas Muslim fanatik dalam agama, sedangkan nilai yang paling dominan dalam memberikan dorongan kepada sekolah bukanlah ajaran agama, karena agama hanya merupakan faktor pendukung pembelajaran (Q.S. 58:11), dan pandangan budaya 3H adalah sebagai dasar pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam dengan pendekatan sosiologis kepada responden yang dipilih dan ditentukan, serta melibatkan orang tua atau keluarga yang relatif sukses dalam pendidikan dan dalam mengubah kehidupan, juga dihormati di masyarakat. Ditemukan bahwa masyarakat teguh dengan nilai 3H, di mana orang tua tidak kenal lelah, bahkan mengorbankan segalanya sehingga anak-anak berhasil berhasil menikmati kesejahteraan, kemakmuran dan penghormatan hidup.
