Abstract

Sudah banyak media yang digunakan untuk mengajak masyarakat agar bersama-sama mencegah penularan Covid-19 dengan menunjukkan beratnya tugas para tenaga kesehatan ketika menangani pasien Covid-19, seperti dalam hal pemakaian alat pelindung diri (APD), jadwal giliran tugas yang menjadi lebih panjang, dan sebagainya. Sayangnya, belum ditemukan adanya ajakan-ajakan yang menggunakan game. Padahal cara ini dapat saja lebih efektif untuk mempengaruhi masyarakat agar lebih sadar dan mau atau lebih mengikuti protokol kesehatan. Hal ini sangat penting mengingat masih tingginya jumlah orang yang terpapar Covid-19 di Indonesia. Perlu ada pembuatan game bergenre simulasi untuk menunjukkan beratnya tugas para tenaga kesehatan ketika menangani pasien Covid-19. Penelitian ini merancang game tersebut untuk komponen-komponen yang dirangkum oleh Agustin (2017) dan mengkhususkan pada pemakaian APD. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa rancangan karakter, antarmuka, dan gameplay game ini dikatakan baik. Semua validator menilai game ini dapat menjadi suatu bentuk dukungan kepada tenaga-tenaga kesehatan yang berjuang menyembuhkan pasien-pasien Covid-19.
A Comparative Study of Indonesian Estimated Rice Production and Consumption Tri Anggraeni

Abstract

The permit of two million tons of rice import in 2018 has tickled Indonesia's ability to fulfill its own rice needs. Farmers' anxiety that rice import can affect rice prices proved by its declining. The distribution of imported rice indeed has not been optimal. People say that imports are carried out without proper planning. This study aims to estimate the rice production and consumption data of Indonesia in 2014 to 2019, compare those data, and conclude whether Indonesia needs to import the rice at those years based on the comparison result. Estimating rice production and consumption were carried out using secondary data consisted of paddy production data, per capita rice consumption data, and population projection data which obtained from the website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and/or the Ministry of Agriculture. Based on the comparison result between rice production and consumption data from 2014 to 2019, it can be concluded that from 7 islands in Indonesia, only 2 islands have the estimated rice consumption which always more than the estimated production, namely Maluku and Papua. The total estimated rice consumption in Indonesia is always lower than the estimated production. A rice surplus on a nearby island, Sulawesi, should be able to cover shortages in Maluku and Papua. If the estimated rice consumption in these three islands is totaled, the amount is always smaller than the estimated rice production in these three islands. This is because the production of rice on the island of Sulawesi is very large. The estimated total consumption of rice in 2019 is only 60% of production.

Abstract

Saat ini banyak orang di Pulau Jawa yang tidak lagi menggunakan Bahasa Jawa atau lebih menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia. Muncul kekhawatiran Bahasa Jawa akan semakin ditinggalkan. Bahasa Jawa dapat dikenalkan, diajarkan, atau disosialisasikan dengan game. Hal ini mendorong perlu dibuatnya game “Onet Anak Kewan”. Penciptaan game ini dilakukan melalui 3 tahap, yaitu pra-poduksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Game ini memuat materi yang berisi pengenalan nama-nama anak hewan dalam Bahasa Jawa yang disampaikan dengan bentuk teks, visual, audio, dan gameplay. Dalam game ini, pemain harus mengeklik kartu anak dan induk hewan yang bersesuaian hingga semua kartu terklik. Terdapat 3 stage yang dibuat berdasarkan jenis makanan hewan: herbivora, karnivora, dan omnivora. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa game ini dapat menjadi media pengenalan dan media bantu untuk menghafalkan nama-nama anak hewan dalam Bahasa Jawa. Dengan adanya game ini, diharapkan pengenalan Bahasa Jawa dapat menjadi lebih menarik dan dilakukan oleh lebih banyak orang.

Abstract

Pontianak has a great business potential in the coffee sector and eventually makes it as the largest coffee exporting city in Indonesia. Then this is an interesting theme to be made into a feature format of television program. This program will especially attract more to urban people who want to know more about simple activities that affect the level of happiness in Indonesia. This scientific work discusses the role of the producer in making a feature program titled "Geliat Budaya Ngopi di Pontianak" which contains a feature format with the theme of human interest, as well as informative and entertaining feature program. The creation of this program went through pre-production, production and post-production stages. Producer plays an important role in the content of a program. Producer is required to take concern and combine the elements in planning, producing, and broadcasting a television program in order to get high quality production results. These elements include production materials, production facilities, production costs, human resource management, as well as the stages of production implementation. This feature program combines several sub-formats such as vox pop, statements, and narratives that support the information and visuals.
