Abstract

The aims of this study are to analyze the effect of Earning per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV), dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Stock Prices. This study was taken because there are still differences between the research study with each other and there is a difference between the real of research data with existing theory. This research was conducted using secondary data. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The criteria that needed are mining company whose shares are still actively traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, has a data independent and dependent variables for this study, and has a complete annual report for the year 2012-2014. Of the thirty-nine companies, only taken nineteen companies as research samples. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there are simultaneously influences between Earning per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on stock prices. Partially, Earning per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV) has a positive and significant impact on stock prices and the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a negative and significant impact on stock prices.

Abstract

Foreign currency derivatives are commonly used by companies to hedge foreign exchange risk. This study aims to examine the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Interest Coverage Ratio (ICR), liquidity, growth opportunity, firm size, foreign debt, and managerial ownership on hedging decision using foreign currency derivatives. Using purposive sampling, 93 non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2014 are selected as sample. Sample data are collected from annual report published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. Logistic regression analysis is used in this study to examine the effect of independent variables on dependent variable. The result of this study proves that ICR, growth opportunity, firm size, and foreign debt have positive and significant effect on hedging decision using foreign currency derivative. Liquidity has negative and significant effect on hedging decision using foreign currency derivatives. Whereas DER and managerial ownership do not influence hedging decision using foreign currency derivatives. The value of Nagelkerke’s R Square is 35,4% which means the variability of the dependent variable that can be explained by the variability of independent variables in the model amounted to 35,4%.

Abstract

Results from the initial findings of the interview found that Diponegoro university students were not satisfied with the services provided by Go-Jek, among others, apps are often error, the location of the remote driver, drivers pay less attention to passenger safety, and it is found that there is a gap between the number of downloaders and the number of Go-Jek transactions. This research was conducted to analyze the effect of brand image, consumer preference, word of mouth, trust and price perception on purchase decision Go- Ride service on Diponegoro University student.Data collection technique conducted in this study is a questionnaire. The sample was   chosen  by  purposive  sampling   technique.  Respondents   in   this   research  are Diponegoro University students who have used Go-Ride service for at least 2 times, with 110 respondents whose distribution includes 11 faculties. The technique used to analyze the influence of independent variables and dependent variable of this research is multiple linear regression analysis.Result of research prove that hypothesis one Brand image have positive effect to Purchase  Decision  accepted.  The  second  hypothesis  of  Consumer  Preference  has  a positive effect on Purchase Decision accepted. The third hypothesis of Word Of Mouth has a positive effects on Purchase Decision accepted. Fourth Hypothesis, Trust has a positive effect on Purchase Decision accepted. The fifth hypothesis, Price Perception has a positive effect on Purchase Decision accepted. Coefficient of determination test results stated that the five independent variables have an influence of 47.9% of Purchase Decision. Go-Ride service providers are advised to build a better brand image, by knowing their consumer preferences  so  that  it  is  expected  to  create  positive  word  of  mouth  and  consumer confidence to improve purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The study examines the influence of Intellectual Capital elements named Human Capital, Structural Capital, Relational Capital, and Capital Employed Efficiency to Bussiness Performance with Innovation Capability and Capital Employed Efficiency as intervening variables. There are 70’s owners and managers of culinary sector SMEs in Semarang City that selected to become object for this research.This study representing an empirical test wich using random sampling techniques on data collection.. The data analyze is done by using Stuctural Equation Modelling ( SEM) premises program VisualPLS (Partial Least Square).Hypothesis testing results show that of the six hypotheses that have been proposed there are five acceptable hypothesis. The accepted hypothesis are hypothesis 1 (there is significant influence between Structural Capital to Innovation Capability) hypothesis 2 (there is significant influence between Structural Capital to Business Performace), hypothesis 3 (there is significant influence between Huma Capital to Bussiness Performance), Hypothesis 4 (there is significant influence between Relational Capital to Business Performance) hypothesis 5 (there is significant influence between Innovation Capability to Business Performace).  Furthermore, there is one rejected hypothesis or no significant influence, the hypothesis is hypothesis 6 (there is no significant influence between Capital Employed Efficiency to Bussiness Performance).

Abstract

Costumer satisfaction are closely related to products or services which are sold to costumer. Besides it, costumer satisfaction can used as success measurement of company performance especially on services company because costumer used directly that services.  Costumer satisfaction on services company, especially logistic servives can be mesasured by few things, for an example service that company give to costumer, time delivery and facility. This research aims to exam that correlate service quality, on-time delivery and facility to J&T Express costumer satisfaction in Semarang.Sample for this research are random person of 100 costumers that had used J&T Express. Sampling Technique use Accidental Sampling, processed by SPSS 23th edition that use Multiple linier analysis.Result of this research show that servive quality, on-time delivery and facility has significant and positive. On-time delivery variable has a biggest effect for costumer saticfaction.

Abstract

Good performance of employee in organization is important thing in running an organization. The better performance of employee could make a greater opportunity to achieve organization goal. To improve the performance of employee, organization should arrange some strategies which is effective and efficient in order to achieve the better result. This study aims to analyze the effect of salary, allowance, and job promotion to employee performance in Badan Kepegawaian Daerah, Center of Java Province, this study involve 103 respondents as the sample.  The selection of sample was conducted through sensus method. The variable used in this study were salary, allowance, job promotion, and employee performance. Statistic analysis method was conducted by multiple regresive linear technique with SPSS version 23.The result of this study shows that there is signficant effect of salary, allowance, and job promotion to employee performance simultaneously. Whereas partially salary, allowance, and job promotion have positive and significant effectt to employee performance. Employee performance is affected 42.6% by those three variables.

Abstract

Share  prices  on  stock  exchange  is  something  that  is  of  concern/signall  to  investor.  With  aPrice/Earning Ratio method, stock price reflected against of overall profit in listed companies. This research wants to examine the effects of Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Current Ratio (CR) against Price/Earning Ratio of consumer goods company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2012-2015.Data in this research used a sample of 24 consumer goods companies, with year observation period 2012 to 2015. The sample selection is done by purposive sampling method.The result of this research shows the result of regression analysis, found that partially Retun on Equity, have a positive significant to Price/Earning Ratio of Consumer Goods company. Current Ratio variable , have a negative significant to Price Earning Ratio of Consumer Goods company. While Debt to Equity Ratio doesn’t have influence to Price/Earning Ratio of Consumer Goods company. The three variable that used in this research Return on Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), dan Current Ratio (CR) simoultaneously have an influence to Price Earning Ratio of Consumer Goods company. The predictive capability of the three variable simoultaneously amounted 18,2%.

Abstract

The insurance company has different characteristics with other companies, so that performance appraisal of insurance company use specific ratios created by The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). This study aims to examine the effect of financial ratios of insurance company, namely change in surplus ratio, incurred loss ratio, liquidity ratio, premium growth, firm size and risk based capital (RBC) to forecast the possibility of financial distress, a deteriorating financial condition prior to the bankruptcy of non-life insurance companies registered in Indonesia Insurance Directory in period 2010-2014. The insurance companies which experiencing financial distress is determined based on negative net profit for two consecutive years. By using purposive sampling obtained 63 samples of insurance companies, 53 companies experiencing non-financial distress, 10 companies experiencing financial distress. The method used in this study using logistic regression. The result indicates that the variable of incurred loss ratio, liquidity (liabilities to liquid asset) ratio are positive and significant effect on the occurrence of financial distress. Firm size variable has a negative and significant effect on the occurrence of financial distress, while change in surplus ratio, premium growth ratio and risk based capital have no significant effect on the insurance company’s financial distress.

Abstract

Islamic Banking based on the Quran and al-Hadist in its operations by not using riba. Profit sharing financing in Islamic Banking product can reach the real sector to strengthen the Indonesian economy. But, Bai Finacing have a biggest financing by Islamic Banking. Therefore, this study aims to examines the factors that affect financing in Islamic Banking such Thrid Party Fund (DPK), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Return On Asset (ROA), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Inflation, and BI Rate. The sample used in this study consist of nine Islamic Banks in Indonesia 2012-2015 periods. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The type of data using secondary data obtained from financial statement of Islamic Banks website, so it has 144 observational data. Data were analyzed with multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 21.The result from this study indicates factors that affect Financing in Islamic Banking such variables Thrid Party Fund (DPK), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Return On Asset (ROA), Non Performing Financing (NPF), and BI Rate significant positive effect on Financing. However, Inflation not significant impact on Financing. The amount of coefficient determination R2 (adjusted R2) is 0.812. That means the factors that affect financing such as DPK, FDR, ROA, NPF, Inflastion, and BI Rate have the impact on Financing of 81.2%. Meanwhile, the remaining 18.8% is explained by other variables outside the model of this study.

Abstract

The production processes are closely related to operations management. Operations management is the key driver of production processes, therefore, operational performance is fundamental for the sustainability of the company. Various production problems which encountered most of bags manufacturer in Ciampea, Bogor Regency, indicates the need for further study. This study purpose is to analyze the impact of Total Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, and entrepreneurial orientation on operational performance.Data collection technique used in this study are questionnaire. The sample is selected using simple random sampling technique and the number of respondents selected is 58 respondents. To analyze the impact of independent variables on dependent variable, multiple linier regression analysis is used.The result of this study showed that Total Quality Management have positive impact on operational performance (first hypothesis accepted). The second hypothesis which state that Supply Chain Management have positive impact on operational performance is accepted as well. The third hypothesis which state that entrepreneurial orientation have positive impact on operational performance is accepted. The coefficient of determination test result stated that all three independent variables have an impact of 53% on operational performance. Bag manufacturers in Ciampea, Bogor Regency are recommended to develop their employee, integrate with suppliers, and not too depend on intermediary traders.
