Abstract

ABSTRACT RENTABILITY ANALYSIS OF LAYING DUCK FARM AT   THE WOLAANG VILLAGE LANGOWAN TIMUR DISTRICT OF MINAHASA REGENCY. Study was conducted at Wolaang village, East Lagowan district of Minahasa regency on August 8 to September 5, 2015. The objective of this study was to evaluate the rentability laying duck farm  at the Wolaang village. Survey method was applied in this study. Wolaang village was defined as study location and chosen the purposive sampling based on consideration of the highest duck population (5924 heads), widest wet rise areas of 161.35 ha, and more than 20 animal farmers. Data of primary and secondary bases were used in this study. Rentability  analysis model was applied using formula, R= L/M x 100%. Results showed that animal farmer education was 60 percents passed the elementary school, 25 percents passed junior high school and 15 percents passed senior high school. The period of raising animals of the 1- to 10-year experience was 25 percents, the period of the 11- to 20 year experience was 20 percents, that of the 21- to 30 year experience was 25 percents, that of the 31- to 40-year experience was 15 percents, that of the 41- to 50-year experience was 10 percents, and that of more than 50-year experience was 5 percents. The rentability analysis found the value of 69 percents indicating that the use of infestation financial capital of IDR 100,000.- was able to gain the benefit of the IDR 60,000.-. The reach of the values of R was more than the deposit rent of the BRI bank of 6.5 percents. Therefore, it can be concluded that farm rentability of laying duck was more than the BRI bank deposit rent.   Key word: Laying duck, rentability.

Abstract

CONSUMER PREFERENCES TOWARDS RAGEY CONSUMPTION IN MANADO CITY.This study aims to determine consumer preferences and attributes that are considered consumers of ragey in Manado City. This research was conducted in Manado City, North Sulawesi Province. The location determination was carried out deliberately (purposive sampling) at three restaurants selling ragey, namely the ragey restaurant Tanta Olla, the ragey Roy restaurant and the ragey 21 Telling restaurant from 08 July to 08 August 2019. The research method is survey and interview methods using a questionnaire that has been provided. Samples were determined by accidental sampling with 100 samples. Types of data are primary data and secondary data as well as descriptive analysis and conjoint analysis. The results showed that  ragey atributs such as  price with a value of 0.530 ,  size with a value of 0.410 and proportion  of meat with a value of 0.700 had significant correlation (P<0,05)  with consumers preferences. Attributes that are considered by consumers in buying ragey sequentially, namely the proportion of 34.808%, size 33.896% and price of 31.296%.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEFFECT OF FEED AND OPERATING COSTS ON PROFIT OF CHICKEN LAYING FARM OWNED BY VONY KANAGA AT TAWAAN VILLAGE IN BITUNG CITY (Case study). This research was conducted in Vony Kanaga laying farm located in District Ranowulu Bitung City. The research problem was how the influence of feed and labor costs to the amount of profits and how much profit can be obtained at the company laying chicken farm in the district of Bitung City Ranowulu. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of feed and labor costs against profits in laying chicken company, to find out the benefits of the company laying chicken farm in the district of Bitung City Ranowulu. The data collection method is using a field survey using primary and secondary data. Subdistrict Ranowulu Bitung determined based on the largest population in the city of Bitung. Model analysis of data that multiple linear regression analysis and profit. The measured variable is the cost of feed, labor costs and profits. The result showed that the average cost of laying chicken feed per day is Rp. 7.813.410. The average labor cost per day is Rp. 2.388.000. Total Proceeds from the sale of eggs and feces in the company-owned chicken laying Vony Kanaga Rp. 13.514.520 so as to obtain profit of Rp. 3.313.110. Based on the results of this study concluded that the cost of feed and labor simultaneously significant effect on profits in the company-owned farm chicken laying Vony Kanaga in District Ranowulu Bitung City.
