Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa yang bertujuan khususnya adalah menjelaskan keterlaksanaan RPP, aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar, dan respon siswa selama proses pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT. Teknik pengambilan data melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi,  angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dianalasis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa setelah proses pembelajaran meningkat. Temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) Keterlaksanaan RPP selama pembelajaran berkategori sangat baik (2) Aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran berkategori aktif (3) Hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran berkategori tuntas (4) Respon siswa dalam pembelajaran berkategori baik. Didapatkan simpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT efektif dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa kelas IX-A SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin pada pokok bahasan listrik dinamis.

Abstract

The low of student learning outcomes in learning physics because the response to science learning still low and lack of availability of physics module SMP/MTs which connect Qur’an with science. It is necessary for research that aims to determine the feasibility of physics module class VII SMP/MTs based interrelation of the Qur'an and science. The special purpose, namely: (1) the validity of the module, (2) implemented of RPP, (3) student learning outcomes, and (4) student’s response. The development of physics module refers to the ADDIE model, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. Subjects were 33 students of class VII B SMP State 17 Banjarmasin academic year 2013/2014 as a test grade. Data collection technique used instrument validation module, observations, test results of students’ learning and questionnaire responses. The results of research and development showed that: (1) the validity of modules on validation material is excellent category, validation media is excellent category, and validation interrelation is good category, (2) implemented of RPP in the excellent category, (3) student learning outcomes at the first meeting in quite effective category, second meeting in quite effective category, and third meeting in less effective category, (4) students’ response in good category. We concluded that the feasibility of the physics module class VII SMP/MTs based interrelation of the Qur'an and science in the worthy category.

Abstract

Empirically, be mentioned that punishment and reward giving effect on the motivation of student learning. Motivation that increasing will effect on result of student learning is still low. Therefore, researcher interested in doing this research with the goal to reveal the effect of reward and punishment giving on the result of student learning. The research population was all students of VII grade in Junior High School 9 Banjarmasin amounting to 306 students with the samples are 32 students of VII F class as the control class and 32 students of VII G class as the experiment class. The methods of data collection through testing and non-testing methods . The type of research is a quantitative research of experimental with pretest-posttest control group design and the methods of analysis are used include validity test, reliability est, preliminary test and t-test to tested the hypothesis. The research found that the population average between the control and experiment class are the same or there is no difference of the population average between the control and experiment class. The conclusion of the research that the effect of reward and punishment giving all together didn’t effect significantly on the result of student learning.

Abstract

Factors that influence learning outcomes is interest in learning and motivation to learn. Low interest and motivation of students tend to produce a low learning outcomes. This research aims to : (1) to analyze whether there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in learning  with the learning outcomes, (2) to analyze whether there is a positive and significant relationship motivation to learn  with the learning outcomes, (3) to analyze whether there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in learning  with the motivation to learn, (4) to analyze whether there is a positive and significant relationship between interest and motivation to learn simultaneously with the learning outcomes. The study population was all students of class X SMAN 10 Banjarmasin and the sample amounted to 80 students drawn by random sampling technique. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and achievement test. This type of research is the correlation and the method of analysis used is the correlation-regression.The results rX1Y = 0,339, rX2Y = 0,399, r X1X2 = 0,513 dan rX1X2Y = 0,428.The result found (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in learning with the learning outcomes, (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between motivation to learn with the learning outcomes, (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in learning with the motivation to learn, and (4) there is a positive and significant relationship between interest and motivation to learn simultaneously with the learning outcomes in class X SMAN 10 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Based on interviews with a teacher of science at Junior High School 17 Banjarmasin are obtained that the result of student learning is still low. It is caused the pattern learning that takes place often using lecture method so that need to doing the research. The general objective of the research is to know the use of problem posing approach on static electricity subject to improve the result of student learning at IX grade in Junior High School 17 Banjarmasin. The specific objectives of the research are to describe (1) lesson plan adherence; (2) result of student learning; and (3) response of student towards learning. This research is a classroom action research of Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which consisting of two cycles in four times of meeting consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Devices and instruments are used are the lesson plan, handout, student worksheet, result of learning test, lesson plan sheet, and response questionnaire. Analysis of data is used are quantitative and qualitative. The results of the research are (1) lesson plan adherence increased from the first cycle of 80,42%, and the second cycle of 87,11%; (2) the result of student learning classically completed from the first cycle of 85,71% and the second cycle of 90,47%; (3) respond questionnaire of student got well response. Be obtained the conclusion that the problem posing approach can improve the result of student learning at IX grade in Junior High School 17 Banjarmasin on static electricity subject.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains dan sikap ilmiah siswa Indonesia salah satunya disebabkan karena LKS yang beredar kebanyakan hanya berisi ringkasan materi dan soal-soal, sehingga belum efektif melatihkan keterampilan proses sains. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan LKS dan media penunjang untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains. Tujuan khusus penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan kelayakan LKS dan media penunjang, keterampilan proses sains, dan respon siswa. Ujicoba dilakukan pada 21 siswa SMPN 1 Candi Laras Selatan. Desain penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi, pengamatan, angket respon, dan dokumentasi serta teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan (1) LKS yang dikembangkan sangat layak dalam format/isi LKS, kebahasaan dan penampilan fisik dengan reliabilitas 0,65; (2) Media penunjang yang dikembangkan sangat layak dalam fungsi/kegunaan dan penampilan fisik dengan reliabilitas 0,80; (3) Keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 14,29% sangat terampil dan 85,71% terampil. Siswa terampil dalam mengamati, merumuskan hipotesis, melakukan penyelidikan, membaca hasil pengukuran, menganalisis data, memprediksi, dan menarik kesimpulan, tetapi cukup terampil dalam mengidentifikasi variabel; dan (4) Respon positif siswa dalam hal minat dan sikap terhadap LKS dan media penunjang. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa LKS dan media penunjang materi ajar kemagnetan efektif untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMP.

Abstract

Teachers should be able to choose the method of learning that can help students in learning physics, namely the method of problem posing and problem-solving method. The purposes of this study are : (1) describe the learning physics skills by using problem posing method, (2) describe the learning physics skills by using problem solving method, and (3) know difference between learning physics skills by using problem posing method and problem solving method in class XI of Science SMAN 6 Banjarmasin. The type of this research is quasi experimental study. The sample consists of two groups, there are class of experiment I (class XI IPA 2) , and class of experiment II (class XI IPA 1) at SMAN 6 Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques are test and documentation. Data analysis uses prerequisite analysis, normality test and homogeneity test, then F test. The results of the research show: (1) learning physics skill that uses problem posing method has average 76,1  it is in good qualification, (2) learning physics skill that uses problem solving method has average 83,6  it is in good qualification too, and (3) the result of hypothesis examine shows that a difference in learning physics skill, which the value of probability in F test of learning physics skills is 0,013 < 0,05 that H0 is rejected, it means that there are difference in learning physics skill between the experiment class 1 and experiment class 2 on impulse and momentum material.

Abstract

The low of rational thinking skills of students in learning physics models encourage researchers to carry out Children’s Learning in Science (CLIS). This study aims to determine how the effectiveness of learning by using the model CLIS. The specific aims of research describing: (1) the ability of the teacher to manage the model CLIS, (2) rational thinking skills of students, (3) classical completeness student learning outcomes after participating in learning, (4) students' response to the model CLIS. The study was designed and implemented using classroom action research. The subject of this study is researcher and lecturer, 2 observers and 33 students of grade XI RPL SMK 4 Banjarmasin. The technique uses test data collection, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed an increase in the ability of teachers to manage the model CLIS in cycle I, II, and III respectively by 77.78%, 86.67%, and 94.44% aspects of the rational thinking skills students in cycle I, II, and III in general has increased very well. An increase in mastery learning outcomes classical cycle I, II, and III respectively amounted to 87.87%, 96.97% and 96.97%, CLIS students' response to the model in general is quite good.

Abstract

 The low student’s achievement in physics is supposed because of the lack of variation in teacher learning model used. It has an impact on students' social skills. Their skills are lower and  the students tend to be passive. For that reasons the writer conducts this research and aims to improve student learning result through cooperative learning type TPS on the subject of elasticity and Hooke's law. The data analysis was used through descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative. The results of this research were: (1) teachers' skills in cycle I, II and III respectively 80,11%, 88,07%, and 96,59% are very good category (2) increase student's social skills each cycle in good category, (3) completeness student learning results in the classical also increased each cycle respectively 47,06%, 76,47%, and 97,06%, (4) student responses during the learning process is good categorized, for interest of 3,86 while the motivation by 3,94. It appears on result average for every statement in the good category. According to the results, it can be concluded that the student learning result of grade XI IPA 3 MAN 2 Model Banjarmasin at elasticity and Hooke's law subject are increasing after the application of cooperative learning model type TPS.

Abstract

Tidak aktifnya siswa dikarenakan pembelajaran hanya dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, mengerjakan soal dan mengumpulkannya pada pertemuan berikutnya, mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas VIII SMPN 7 Banjarmasin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan (1) keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) aktivitas siswa dan (3) hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Hopkins yang terdiri atas tiga siklus, di mana setiap siklus meliputi plan, action/observation, dan  reflective. Data diperoleh melalui  tes, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan RPP model pembelajaran kooperatif pada siklus I secara umum terlaksana sangat baik, siklus II dan siklus III terlaksana sangat baik, (2) aktivitas siswa terdiri dari membaca, mendengarkan penjelasan guru berdiskusi, menyampaikan pendapat, mengajukan pertanyaan, dan mengerjakan LKS secara umum pada siklus I berkategori cukup aktif, sedangkan pada siklus II baik dan III sangat baik, (3) peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yaitu siklus I sebesar 25% (tuntas), siklus II sebesar 51% (tuntas) dan siklus III sebesar 88% (tuntas). Dapat disimpulan bahwa aktivitas siswa kelas VIII SMPN 7 Banjarmasin dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Teams Games Tournament  melalui media monopoli pada materi ajar cahaya.
