Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effects of interest rates, bond rating, company size, and debt to equity ratio (DER) of the yield to maturity (YTM) of corporate bonds in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Previous researches showed different results, therefore, it is necessary to re- study by testing the four variables on the yield to maturity. The population in this study was all corporate bonds listed and traded on the Stock Exchange in the period of 2010-2012. There were 324 bonds. Based on the Purposive sampling criteria, 66 bonds were obtained. The research hypothesis was tested by multiple linear regression (multiple regression) and the analysis tools were company's financial statements, market price of the bond, SBI interest rate and bond ratings. The results showed that the variable interest rates and the debt to equity ratio did not significantly affect the yield to maturity of the bonds. Variable bond rating and company size gave significant negative effects ontheyield tomaturity of the bonds

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of RGEC Components ie Non Performing Loans, Interest Rate Risk, Loan To Deposit Ratio, Institutional Ownership, Proportion of Independent Commissioner, Audit Committee, Return on Asset, Net Interest Margin and Capital Adequacy Ratio to stock return. The analysis test used is multiple linear regression analysis. The population used by banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2015 period and which meet the criteria of sample selection. The sample used is 23 companies. Data are collected through secondary data collection in the form of company annual report for 2011-2015 period published in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research hypothesis was tested by multiple linear regression that has met the classical assumption test. The result of analysis shows that Non Performing loan, Interest Rate Risk, Proportion of Independent Board of Commissioner, Net Interest Margin and Capital Adequacy Ratio have no significant effect on stock return while Loan To Deposit Ratio, Institutional Ownership, Audit Committee, and Return on Asset have significant effect to return stock.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze techniques of the bank’s health assessment and determine which strategies should be done in order to improve the health of the bank. The method used is the approach of Risk (Risk Based-Bank Rating) in accordance with Bank Indonesia Regulation on Rating Bank that PBI Number: 13/1/PBI/2011 which entered into force on January 1, 2012. Bank health assessment performed using four (4) factors: Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Earning, and Capital. Object of this study is PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Selatan period 2012. The results showed that the health of banks in PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Selatan getting ranked 2, meaning can be categorized good. Strategies to improve the health value of a bank is to improve aspects of Earnings and Capital. Strategis Steps that must to increase credit expansion, improve the quality and quantity of human resources, product innovation, and increase fee-based income
