Abstract

Assertive is a individual ability to express his thoughts and feelings both positive and negative as well as maintain its rights in a polite way without hurting others. Selection of counseling techniques to improve assertive behavior in this study are assertive techniques. The aims of the study is to describe assertive behavior of students before and after being given assertiveness techniques and to determine the influence of assertive techniques in improving assertive behavior in students. The population in this study were 50 students in Junior High School 2 Banda Aceh recommended by teachers BK whereby it has a low assertive behavior, while the sample is 10 students were selected by purposive sampling. The method used is descriptive quantitative approach and the type of pre-experimental study one group pre-post test design. Collecting data using the questionnaire in the form of Likert scale. Data were analyzed using paired-sample sign test. It can be concluded that the students before being given assertiveness techniques obtained average value 115.3, assertive behavior after being given assertiveness techniques obtained average nilah 137.5 and increased scores gained an average of 22.2. It can be concluded that the technique can improve students’ assertive behavior that have been given treatment. It can be seen through the changes that occur in students, such as students become more confident, able to express his thoughts and feelings, and able to defend its rights.Keywords: Assertive Behavior, Assertive TechniquesABSTRAKPerilaku asertif sangat dibutuhkan dalam kehidupan sosial siswa, karena itu perlu dikembangkan melalui layanan konseling di sekolah. Asertif merupakan kemampuan individu mengungkapkan pikiran dan perasaannya baik yang positif maupun negatif serta mempertahankan hak yang dimilikinya dengan cara yang sopan tanpa menyakiti orang lain. Pemilihan teknik konseling untuk meningkatkan perilaku asertif dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik asertif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku asertif siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan teknik asertif dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik asertif dalam meningkatkan perilaku asertif pada siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 orang siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh yang direkomendasikan oleh guru BK memiliki perilaku asertif rendah, sedangkan sampelnya adalah 10 orang siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian pra-eksperimen one group pre-post test design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dalam bentuk skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan paired sample sign-test. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa sebelum diberikan teknik asertif memperoleh nilai rata-rata 115,3, perilaku asertif setelah diberikan teknik asertif memperoleh nilah rata-rata 137,5 dan peningkatan skor diperoleh rata-rata sebanyak 22,2. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik asertif dapat meningkatkan perilaku asertif pada siswa yang diberikan treatment. Hal ini dapat dilihat melalui perubahan yang terjadi pada siswa, seperti siswa menjadi lebih percaya diri, mampu mengemukakan pikiran dan perasaannya, serta mampu mempertahankan hak yang dimilikinya.Kata kunci: Perilaku Asertif, Teknik Asertif

Abstract

Nature is an omnipotent form created by God. Looking for extraordinary creations shows how beautiful nature is created. Of course, with all kinds of objects that show every beauty, this is the masterpiece of Allah SWT. The essence of the universe is what it is though, God's intention to create the universe for us, how good nature is for us, the universe for us and others. Regarding God's purpose in creating the universe, basically it is a means of conveying information to people and proof of the existence and omnipotence of Allah SWT, that there is an Almighty God who controls this world and creates something that is without error. For example, night cannot precede day, planets rotate along circular paths until the arrival of the final judgment etc. Basically, nature is none other than Allah swt. That's why the spectrum of nature is very large. The universe was created to store so many secrets, since the extraordinary process of its formation is very complex and its inhabitants are diverse, it is an interesting study. Nature has the same basic word as the address, which means something if we follow it, we arrive at the intended destination. That is, if we take a serious study of nature, it will lead us there, its creator is Allah SWT. Nature is also related to the word science, this shows that the essence of the universe is full of scientific mysteries. Let's look at the philosophy of Islamic education, in essence this universe is not just a place to live, but the universe is actually a place of learning for the community. Keywords : Universe, Goal
