The crank game is a game that is drawn on the ground, by drawing boxes, then jumping one foot from one box to another. How to develop children's social emotional with the traditional game of cuckoo is a study in this study. This study aims to determine the social emotional development of children with traditional crank games at IT Permata Sunnah Kindergarten, Banda Aceh. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by using two cycles, in each cycle there are 2 meetings. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and performance. Research results obtained from. The subjects in this study were 10 children aged 5-6 years, 7 boys and 3 girls. Data collection techniques through observation and performance. The results showed that in the first cycle of the first meeting there were four underdeveloped children, 3 children began to develop and 3 children developed as expected. In the first cycle of the second meeting there were two underdeveloped children, five children began to develop, two children developed according to expectations and one child developed very well. In the second cycle of the first meeting there were two children who began to develop, six children developed according to expectations and two children developed very well, in the second cycle of the second meeting there was one child developing according to expectations and nine children developing very well. The conclusion from the research results is that the social emotional development of children has developed in accordance with the indicators of children's achievement through crank play. It is hoped that teachers can develop children's social emotional using other games.Abstrak. Kemampuan sosial emosional anak sangat perlu di kembangkan sejak dini, salah satu cara mengembangkan sosial emosional anak adalah dengan permainan tradisional egklek. Permaianan engklek ialah sebuah permainan yang digambar di atas tanah, dengan membuat gambar kotak-kotak, kemudian melompat satu kaki dari kotak satu ke kotak lainnya. Bagaimana mengembangkan sosial emosional anak dengan permainan tradisional egklek menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan sosial emosional anak dengan permainan tradisional engklek di TK IT Permata Sunnah, Kota Banda Aceh. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan dua siklus, pada setiap siklus dilakukan 2 kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian yang di peroleh dari. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 10 orang anak, 7 laki-laki dan 3 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I pertemuan pertama terdapat empat anak belum berkembang, 3 anak mulai berkembang dan 3 anak berkembang sesuai harapan. Pada siklus I pertemuan kedua terdapat dua anak belum berkembang, lima anak mulai berkembang, dua anak berkembang sesuai harapan dan satu anak berkembang sangat baik. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama terdapat dua anak mulai berkembang, enam anak berkembang sesuai harapan dan dua anak berkembang sangat baik, pada siklus ke II pertemuan kedua terdapat satu anak berkembang sesuai harapan dan sembilan anak berkembang sangat baik. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian yaitu, perkembangan sosial emosional anak sudah berkembang sesuai dengan indikator pencapaian anak melalui permainan engklek. Diharapkan kepada guru agar dapat mengembangkan sosial emosional anak dengan menggunakan permainan lainnya.Kata Kunci: Anak Usia Dini, Sosial Emosional, Engklek
