<![CDATA[Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai Lampulo (PPP, Tipe C) sedang dalam proses pembangunan untuk mencapai target status Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera (PPS, Tipe A) dalam kurun waktu 10-20 tahun mendatang. Informasi ini tentu menghadirkan domisili kapal berukuran besar ( 30 GT) di PPP Lampulo. Luas kolam pelabuhan merupakan fasilitas pokok yang menentukan daya tampung pelabuhan. Atas dasar ini dirasa perlu untuk meneliti kelayakan luas kolam PPP Lampulo kurun waktu 10 tahun kedepan untuk menghadapi kenaikan jumlah kapal penangkap ikan berukuran 30 GT sebagai persiapan pasca status PPS. Peramalan dilakukan terhadap jumlah kapal penangkap ikan menggunakan metode least square dan arus bongkar muat kapal menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana. Hasil ramalan 10 tahun mendatang kemudian diselaraskan dengan rumus panjang dermaga dan luas kolam pelabuhan ideal. Identifikasi terhadap luas kolam PPP Lampulo yang sudah dibangun juga dilaksanakan sebagai pembanding antara kebutuhan luas kolam pelabuhan hasil peramalan dengan luas kolam pelabuhan yang sudah dibangun. Hasil penelitian menyatakan domisili kapal penangkap ikan 10 tahun mendatang di PPP Lampulo sebanyak 197 unit dan rata-rata perhari arus bongkar muat kapal 10 tahun mendatang sebanyak 3-6 unit. Kebutuhan luas kolam pelabuhan 10 tahun mendatang adalah 18 ha dengan panjang dermaga 1.624 m. Luas kolam PPP Lampulo yang sudah dibangun dinyatakan layak. Atas dasar pembangunan kolam pelabuhan yang belum selesai, maka peneliti merekomendasikan sketsa pembangunan untuk PPP Lampulo sesuai dengan kemampuan peneliti.
