Abstract

ABSTRAK Keberagaman etnis di Indonesia memunculkan sebuah kebutuhan akan pendidikan yang memperhatikan unsur kepedulian dan sensifitas terhadap masalah multikultur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pendidikan multikutural terhadap sikap toleransi Siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif regresif, dan desain penelitian ini menggunakan penyebaran angket (questionneaire). Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu uji prosentase, uji normalitas, uji  homogenitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji regresi linier berganda, uji koefisien derteminasi, uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa prosentase angket mengenai penerapan pendidikan multikultural  adalah 84% dikategorikan sangat baik, mengenai sikap siswa didapatkan skor 80% dengan kategori baik dan mengenai toleransi siswa menyatakan bahwa kepribadian siswa menumbuhkan rasa saling bertoleransi pada kelas VIII SMP N 1 Ciwaringin Kabupaten Cirebon adalah 81% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa nilai F hitung sebesar 39,712 > dari F tabel 3.29. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel  Pendidikan multikultural (X) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap Sikap siswa (Y1) dan Toleransi siswa (Y2). Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Multikultural, Sikap, Toleransi. ABSTRACT Ethnic diversity in Indonesia raises a need for education that pays attention to ignorance and sensitivity to multicultural problems. This study aims to study the effect of applying multicultural education to students' respect. This research is a quantitative research with regressive quantitative research type, and the design of this study uses a questionnaire (questionnaire). Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are percentage test, normality test, homogeneity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple regression test, coefficient of dememination test, hypothesis test. The results showed the percentage of questionnaires regarding the application of multicultural education is 84% categorized very well, regarding the attitudes of students obtained a score of 80% with a good category and about student tolerance stating that student personalities foster a sense of mutual tolerance in class VIII SMP N 1 Ciwaringin Cirebon Regency is 81% with a very good category. Based on the results of the study that the calculated F value of 39.712> from F table 3.29. So it can be concluded that the variable multicultural Education (X) significantly influences the attitude of students (Y1) and student tolerance (Y2). Keywords : Multicultural education, Attitudes, Tolerance.

Abstract

AbstrakAbstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kultur mahasiswa terdaftar S1 Fakultas.. Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FITK) Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Syekh Nurjati Cirebon yang tidak begitu beragam karena dalam satu budaya dan agama yang sama, namun hidup di tengah negara Indonesia yang multikultural. Selain itu, perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat sebagai hasil dari revulusi industri 4.0 memaksa mahasiswa untuk selalu siap. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk: 1) mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap Multikulturalisme di  IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, 2) mengetahui  persepsi dalam menghadapi Revolusi Indutri 4.0 di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei pada mahasiswa terdaftar S1 Fakultas.. Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FITK) Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Penentuan populasi dan sampel dilakukan dengan terbuka yakni mahasiwa angkatan 2O20/2021 diberikan angket dalam bentuk google form dan yang mengisi angket sebanyak 98, sehingga jumlah respondennya sebanyak 98 orang mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap Multikulturalisme di IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon memiliki pandangan yang beragam namun sebagian besar sudah sangat terbuka akan pentingnya multikulturalisme dengan mencapai 85% setuju. Walaupun mereka dalam satu lingkungan budaya dan agama yang sama namun  pemikirannya sudah sangat luas. Sementara itu, bahwa persepsi dalam menghadapi Revolusi Indutri 4.0 sebesar 78.33%, artinya bahwa dalam menghadapi kemajuan teknologi informasi mahasiswa IAIN Cirebon sudah siap dan menyambut baik, walau sekali lagi mereka hidup dan berada pada satu daerah dengan budaya yang belum begitu beragam serta lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi di bawah Kementrian Agama RI.Kata Kunci : Persepsi, Multikulturalisme dan Revolusi Industri 4.0.Abstract: This research is motivated by the culture of students enrolled in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon who are not very diverse because they are in the same culture and religion, but live in the middle of a multicultural Indonesian country. In addition, the rapid development of information technology as a result of the industrial revolution 4.0 forces students to always be ready. From this background, the objectives of this study are: 1) to determine student perceptions of multiculturalism at IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon, 2) to determine perceptions in dealing with the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon. The method used in this research is a survey method on registered students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) Syekh Nurjati State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Cirebon. The determination of the population and sample was carried out openly, namely students of the class of 2021 were given a questionnaire in the form of a google form and who filled out the questionnaire were 98, so that the number of respondents was 98 students. The results of the study concluded that students' perceptions of multiculturalism at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon had diverse views, but most of them were very open about the importance of multiculturalism by reaching 85% agree. Even though they are in the same cultural and religious environment, their thoughts are very broad. Meanwhile, the perception of facing the Industrial Revolution 4.0 was 78.33%, meaning that in dealing with advances in information technology, IAIN Cirebon students were ready and welcoming, even though once again they lived and were in an area with a less diverse culture and higher education environment. under the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.Keywords : Perception, Multiculturalism, Revolution Industry 4.0

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine various strategies for internalizing the disciplinary character of junior high school students applied by schools and teachers in order to create effective learning in the classroom. This is based on violations committed by students, even though school rules have been applied. Through the instillation of discipline in students, it is hoped that self-awareness will emerge to comply with applicable rules/norms, not because of a sense of compulsion to obey applicable rules/norms.  This type ofresearch is descriptive qualitative research, where the data collected are data from observations in the field, and interviews with principals, curriculum wakasek, student affairs, teachers, and students, as well as from literature that supports the concept of internalization of disciplinary character. The data validity technique used is a triangulation technique. Data analysis is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that there are three approaches in internalizing the disciplinary character of students in SMP Negeri 3 Sumber, namely the school culture approach, Classroom Management/Climate, and social-emotional development through extracurricular activities and social care movements. As for the implementation of the strategy of internalizing the character of student discipline, there are no violations that exceed reasonable limits such as drugs and others, but they have not been 100% successful, there are still those who violate school rules. The obstacles that cause it are lack of cooperation between parents and the school, social and conformity factors, difficult transportation, and mediocre family economy.Keywords: strategy, internalization, disciplined character.
