Abstract

The purpose of this study was to test the validity and practicality of the REBT guidebook and to analyze the effectiveness of group counseling using the REBT approach. The type of research used is experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used in this research is the anxiety scale adopted from Max Hamilton, namely the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) and interviews. The sample in this study amounted to 10 people who were divided into 2 groups, namely 5 control groups and 5 treatment groups. The data analysis technique used to test the effectiveness used the Man Whitney test formula, while the validity and practicality test of the manual used the ideal criterion formula. The results showed that the REBT guidebook was valid and practical to use in the field based on an assessment by 2 expert test persons. Based on the Man Whiteney test, the result (0.046 < 0.05) means that group counseling with the REBT approach is effective for overcoming anxiety after the flood disaster. The results of this study should be further developed to be able to overcome anxiety that is not only for flood disasters but other anxieties.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of 4B values ​​(Baiman, Bauntung, Batuah, and Baadab) to class VIII students at SMP Negeri 6 Banjarmasin before group guidance with the rainbow wheel game was carried out, after the service was carried out, and to analyze the effectiveness of group guidance services with the rainbow wheel game. for the application of 4B values ​​(Baiman, Bauntung, Batuah, and Baadab). The research method used is an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. A sample of 8 students was divided into 2 groups, namely the control group and the group treatment. The data collection instrument used the 4B implementation scale and the Rainbow Wheel game scale. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data analysis used the T-count formula. The results of the analysis showed that T-hi>T-tab was 3.92 > 1.94 which means The Rainbow Wheel game in group guidance services is effective for the application of 4B values ​​(Baiman, Bauntung, Batuah, and Baadab) to students.

Abstract

Guidance and Counseling Workshop on Strengthening Character Education in Guidance and Counseling Services for Junior Secondary Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Tabalong Regency was carried out to prepare guidance and counseling teachers who were capable of implementing guidance and counseling services in strengthening character education based on operational guidance and counseling in schools, by the Guidance and Counseling Guidelines for Primary and Secondary Education issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The workshop was held one day, namely on August 26, 2019, with 37 participants. Technically, the implementation of the workshop takes place in 5 stages of activities, namely registration; lectures; sharing experiences; and questions and answers practicum. Resource persons for the workshop activities were lecturers in the guidance and counseling study program. Based on the implementation of this service, it can be concluded that guidance and counseling teachers have an essential role in strengthening character education by using guidance and counseling services based on the Operational Guidance and Counseling Implementation Guidelines. Therefore, it is suggested to be followed up into technical guidance activities in implementing guidance and counseling services with a more specific activity agenda; and become a preliminary study in making guidance and counseling service modules for strengthening character education based on Operational Guidance for Guidance and Counseling Implementation.

Abstract

Karakter kerja keras adalah kegiatan yang dikerjakan secara sungguh-sungguh tanpa mengenal lelah atau berhenti sebelum target kerja tercapai dan selalu mengutamakan atau memperhatikan kepuasan hasil pada setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Tujuan penulisan adalah memberikan stimulus kepada pembaca untuk melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan judul ini sehingga terbukti studi literaturnya. Kerja keras dapat ditingkatkan dengan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik permainan ular tangga. Permainan ular tangga dimainkan oleh anak-anak dan remaja yang dimainkan oleh 2 orang lebih. Penulisan menggunakan metode literature. Metode literature adalah kajian yang dibaca oleh penulis dari berbagai referensi yang relevan dengan judul penulisan ini misalnya buku, e-book, jurnal dan makalah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan keterampilan social dan kontrol diri dengan penerimaan teman sebaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Alat pengumpulan data berupa angket tertutup dengan model skala Likert, melalui Google Forms, dan metode pengambilan sampelnya adalah random sampling. Jumlah populasi 513 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 225 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif, korelasi product moment dan korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara X1, X2 dan Y yang menunjukkan bahwa Sig. F Change < 0,05. Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara keterampilan sosial dan kontrol diri dengan penerimaan teman sebaya. Artinya semakin tinggi keterampilan sosial dan kontrol diri maka semakin tinggi pula penerimaan teman sebaya.

Abstract

Siswa yang memiliki nilai karakter mandiri belajar rendah akan mempengaruhi kepada tinggi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendiskipsikan dan menganalisis keberhasilan dalam menggunakan teknik self-management berbasis konseling model Konseling, Intensif, Progresif, Adaptif, Struktur (KIPAS) untuk meningkatkan nilai karakter mandiri belajar pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 11 Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Bimbingan Konseling (PTBK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif serta model PTBK yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini yaitu model Kurt Lewin serta dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Sampel diperoleh dari siswa kelas VII sebanyak 6 orang siswa. Sampel ditentukan melalui teknik stratified random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang dimanfaatkan yakni: lembar observasi dengan rubrik penilaian, pedoman wawancara, dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil rubrik kegiatan peneliti dan siswa, serta hasil tindakan dari pelaksanaan teknik self-management yang telah dibuat, didapatkan hasil adanya peningkatan pada setiap siklus, pada aktivitas peneliti meraih kategori “baik”, pada aktivitas siswa berada pada kategori “aktif”, dan hasil tindakan dari pelaksanaan teknik self-management mencapai kategori “berhasil”. Dari penelitian tindakan yang sudah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai karakter mandiri belajar dengan menggunakan teknik self-management.__________________________________________________________________ Students who have low self-study character values will affect the level of student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the success of using self-management techniques based on the KIPAS model in increasing the value of independent learning characters in grade VII students of SMP Negeri 11 Banjarmasin. This research uses the type of Counseling Guidance Action Research (PTBK) using a qualitative approach and the PTBK model used in this study is the Kurt Lewin and carried out in three cycles. The sample of this research is class VII students, totaling 6 students. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. Data collection tools used include: observation sheets with assessment rubrics, interview guidelines, and questionnaires.Based on the results of the rubric of research activities, student activities and the results of actions from the implementation of self-management techniques that have been made, the results obtained are an increase in each cycle, the research activity reaches the "good" category, the student activity is in the "active" category, and the results of the action from the implementation of self-management techniques reached the “successful” category. From the action research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the value of independent character learning by using self-management techniques.

Abstract

Community service carried out in Hantakan village, Hantakan sub-district, Hulu Sungai Tengah district, is in the form of assisting students together with the community in formulating innovative and participatory planning formulations and policies for trauma healing applications to overcome post-flood anxiety, in which the main target of this trauma healing activity is children in the local village. The purpose of trauma healing activities carried out by students for children is to reduce the level of anxiety and restore the emotional condition of children after the disaster to help the spirit return to the way it was before the disaster occurred with various kinds of games that were carried out both individually and in groups as well as gifts. Material that aims to improve the characteristics of the child. The stages of trauma healing implementation carried out by these students include: a). Initial Stage, b). Core Stage, c). Monitoring and Evaluation Phase. Implementing trauma healing using the Participatory Rapid Appraisal (PRA) method or participatory village assessments carried out through various activities such as observations, surveys, and interviews.

Abstract

The low character of hard work by some eighth grade students at Junior high school 10 Banjarmasin affects students by studying at school, many students do not collect the assignments given by the teacher on the specified collection time limit, do not look for alternative solutions to problems when they are faced with obstacles in completing tasks, for example by cheating. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the KIPAS model of counseling services using Self Management techniques in improving the hard work character of eighth grade students of Junior high school 10 Banjarmasin. The researcher conducted a quantitative study using the experimental method, namely the quasi-experimental design in the form of the non-equivalent pretest-posttest group design. This research was conducted at Junior high school Banjarmasin1. The researcher used a questionnaire with inclusion criteria and purposive sampling technique with a total of 6 students as respondents. The results of this study show that there are differences in the level of hard work characters before and after the provision of counseling services using the KIPAS model using the Self Management technique. Therefore, the KIPAS model of counseling service using the Self Management technique is effective in improving the hard working character of class VIII students at Junior high school 10 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Students who come from various regions with their own culture need self-resilience to be able to adjust to the conditions in their new environment. Self-resilience is the ability of individuals to face difficulties or obstacles become natural to live. Every Guidance and Counseling student has self-resilience different; this can be seen from the way students deal with and react to problems in a new environment, one of which is shock culture. This study por to determine the self-resilience of guidance and counseling students in terms of their area of origin. This research uses a quantitative approach with comparative research types. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire. with a random sampling technique that is taking a random sample from the existing population. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics and analysis test chi-square. The focus in this study is to determine the differences in self resilience in terms of regional origin. Based on the results of the data analysis test, it was found that 91% of self-resilience was distinguished by regional origin. Based on these results it can be concluded that there are differences in self-resilience in terms of regional origin in the guidance and counseling students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran guru BK dalam menganalisis gaya belajar siswa sebagai need assessment pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survey. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner gaya belajar. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan stratified sampling yang berjumlah 160 sampel. Teknik analaisi data menggunakan deskriptif kulitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas 3 SDIT Ukhuwah Banjarmasin dengan gaya belajar visual. Gaya belajar siswa kelas 4, 5 dan 6 adalah kinestetik. Peran guru BK dalam penerapan pemebelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah memberikan layanan konseling, koordinator, konsultan, agen perubahan, dan asesor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru BK dan mata pelajaran dapat berkolaborasi dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran di sekolah sesuai dengan peran masing-masing sehingga siswa dapat belajar sesuai dengan kemampuannnya serta dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Kata kunci: peran guru BK, gaya belajar, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi
