Abstract The purpose of this study is to identified the effectivity of health education about APIYU reflexology massage therapy to Diabetes Mellitus type 2 patient. The research used pre-eksperimental design without control group. Participants of this study were 34 people. Samples taken using non probability sampling technique. Data collection used in this study was a questionnaire about APIYU reflexology massage. The participants group were given health education about APIYU reflexology massage. Data analyzed using Wilcoxon test. The results of the study shows that level of knowledge before intervention is 8.50 with maximal and minimal value 5 and 14 and after is 14.0 with maximal and minimal value 7 and 15 (p value = 0.000), It mean that there is an increase knowledge after received information about APIYU. The results of this study recommen that health education about APIYU reflexology massage can increase patient’s knowledge about APIYU reflexology massage. The finding of this study can be used of nursing intervention to increase patient’s knowledge about APIYU reflexology massage for Diabetes Mellitus Type 2. Abstract The action of suction can cause the hypoxemia which marked by reducing the oxygen saturation levels (SpO2) it causes the action of suction can be solved by oxygen therapy. This research aimed to know the effectiveness of giving 100% oxygen of therapy toward oxygenof saturation levels on patients ventilator used which was done the suction at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room. The design of this research was quasy experiment with non-equivalent control group approach. Sample of this research was 30 persons with using technique of purposive sampling. Analysis of data in this research was invariant analysis for knowing the frequency of distribution and bivariate analysis used to test Wilcoxon and to test mann Whitney. The result of this research indicated the most of respondents who were at productive age (15-44 years old) as many as 11 persons (40,0%) and the gender of female as many as 16 persons (53,33%). The result of bivariate analysis indicated that there was no difference between after and before giving 100% oxygen of therapy on patients ventilator used which were done the suction by using p value (0,065 )> a (0,05) on experimental group was found the difference significantly between patients saturation levels used ventilator at control group with p value (0,001) < α (0,05). The difference of mean oxygen of saturation levels before and after intervention at experiment group and control group known that reduction of saturation oxygen levels in control group more than experiment group. The researcher recommended to the institution for can do the suctioning in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOP). AbstractSibling rivalry is a jealousy and hate that are usually experienced by a child to the presence of the birth of a sibling. The feelings come because of the changes of the condition or the circumstances when the older child had not been prepared before. This research aimed to know and to determine of the relationship of the birth of a new baby preparation on the incidence of the sibling rivalry to the first child with the descriptive research design correlation by using retrospective approach. There were 132 respondents research samples who taken based on the inclussion criteria namely the mothers who have more than one child, the mothers who lived in working area of The Community Health Centre (Puskesmas) Sungai Sembilan, both children who live at home and their pregnancies spacing between the first and the second child is 2 - 4 years by using purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is the birth questionnaire preparation of a new baby and the incidence of the sibling rivalry to the first child. The analysis used is univariate analysis to know the distribution of the frequncy and bivariate analysis used Chi Square Test to explore the variable relationship between the new baby birth preparation and the incidence of sibling rivalry to the first child. The result of the univariate analysis research showed that most of the respondents aged 26 - 35 years (75%), moslem (95,5%), javanese (57,6%), elementary graduate (46,2%), servant/ house keepers (87,9), with 2 children (87,9%), the first marriage (97%), the birth of a new baby preparation (52,3%) and occured sibling rivalry (52,3%). The result of the biviariate analysis showed that there is no relationship between a new baby birth preparation to the incidence of the sibling rivalry to the first child. Abstract The purpose of this research to determine the correlation between the anxiety and coping mother of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) child undergoing chemotherapy. This research used descriptive correlation study with cross sectional approach. Samples on this research are 35 mothers with ALL child undergoing chemotherapy, which taken by accidental sampling technique. Instrument used was a questionnaire that had been tested its validity and reliability. Analysis of the data used univariate and bivariate with fisher exact test. The results showed that there is relationship between the level of anxiety and the coping mother of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) child undergoing chemotherapy (p value was 0.044). This research suggest the health workers, especially doctors in order to provide an explanation of the treatment, especially chemotherapy to patients and accompanying family. Nurses are expected to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families to minimize patient anxiety levels and improve mother coping mechanism. Abstract Hypertension is an abnormal high blood pressure measurable three occasion in different chance. Family health care tasks is an obligation that should be performed by a family in order to optimize the health of the family members. The role of the family is very significant in caring and assisting with the hypertension patient. The purpose of this research is to Identify the implementation of family health care tasks with hypertension patient in the working area of Simpang Baru Public Health Center. The design of this research was descriptive. The total sample are 40 family member who were taken by using cluster sampling techniques. The instrument used was a questionnaire that has been tested its valid and reliable. The tested results showed that the number of family could not identify problems (70%), families member making decision (55%), caring for member of family (65%), families member modifying the environment (62,5%), families member utilizing the health facilities (72,5%). The conclusion of this research the implementation of family health care tasks with hypertension patient in the working area of Simpang Baru Public Health Center the most of were capable. ABSTRACT Post surgery, there are several problems that often arise, which are wound trauma during the healing period. Wounds from surgery may cause pain and make patients feel anxious and afraid to do mobilization. This research aimed was to determine the relationship between mobilization frekuensi with wound healing of patient post operation in digestif Dumai Hospitas. This research used descriptive correlation design with cross sectional approach. Sample of this research is 38 samples taken by accidental sampling technique with observing the inclusion criteria. Measuring instrument used in this study were questionnaire and obsevasy sheets. The analysis is for the univariate analysis as well as frequency and percentage of bivariate analysis using Chi-Square test. The results showed that there were no a relationship between mobilization frekuensi with wound healing of patient post degestif (p value= 0,264 > α 0,05). AbstractThis research was purposed to obtain the effect of DM-Disc diet program on the body mass index of the patients with Diabetes Mellitus type 2 which was using Quasi Experimental design. This research was conducted at Arifin Achmad Hospital Pekanbaru. There were 30 patients as the respondent in which there were 15 patients as the experimental group and 15 patients as the control group. The sampling technique was Purposive Sampling. The measuring instrument used were direct measurement tools that Digital scale and Gauges. The experimental group was given the DM-Disc diet program for 1 week. The analysis used was Univariate analysis in order to obtain the distribution of frequency and Bivariate analysis used Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests. The result of this research showed: Univariate: The loss of body mass index happened in experimental group which the means were 27.233 (pretest) and 27.067 (posttest) and the difference was 0.166. Bivariate: There was no significant difference between the value of body mass index after being given the DM-Disc diet program in experimental group and the value of body mass index in control group which was not given DM-Disc diet program with p value 0,901 > α (0,05), meaning that statistically, using the Mann Whitney test, DM-Disc diet program did not affect to the loss of body mass index. This is probably caused by the time of DM-Disc diet program’s implementation which was only 1 week. While the significant body mass index changing actually needs 3-6 months. Abstract The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of foot gymnastics APIYU (Senayu) before and after among patients with type II Diabetes Mellitus. The design of this research was “quasy experimental” designed by “Non-equivalent control group”. The total sample were 34 respondents whom fit the inclusion criteria and chosen by purposive sampling, which was divided into 17 respondents experimental group and 17 respondents control group. Measuring instruments used in both groups were monofilament and APIYU. In the experimental group was given the foot gymnastic APIYU (senayu) for 3 days before and after doing SENAYU and then the foot of respondents measured with monofilament. The analysis used univariate analysis to observe the respondents characteristics frequency and bivariate analysis by using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney. The result of pre-post test showed a increasefoot sensitivity at 2,3 point of the right foot and increase at 2,0 point of the left footon the experimental group. The result of statistical test indicated a significant increase on the experiment group with p value 0,000 (p<0,05). In conclusion, foot gymnastics by using APIYU can increase the sensitivity of the foot in patients with diabetes mellitus type II.The results of this study was expected to be one of the nursing interventions to improve the sensitivity of the foot in patients with diabetes mellitus type II and this study was expected to minimize complications of patients foot with diabetes mellitus type II.Keywords: Diabetes mellitus, gymnastics foot APIYU (Senayu), sensitivity foot

Abstract Adolescent is a period where there is a transition childhood to adulthood. Morality development task of adolescent is to form characters. Factors affecting teenage characters is a social environment that is family, peer group, and teachers. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between the social support with character of adolescent in SMKN 2 Pekanbaru with descriptive correlation of research design and cross sectional approach. The sample of this research are 316 respondents were taken based on inclusion criteria using non-probability sampling technique with the type of purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. The analysis used univariate analysis to determine the frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chi-square test. The results showed that the 148 respondent had a social support of low, 131 respondent have need consideration/B character value (41.4%) and 17 respondent have good/A character value (5.4%). From 168 respondents had social support of high, 109 respondents have need consideration/B character value (34.5%) and 59 respondents have good/A character value (18.7%). Based on result of chi-square test obtained of p value (0.000) < alpha (0.05), so that there are significant relationship between the social support with character of adolescent. Based on this study recommended to families, peer group and teachers with adolescent to increase social support in an effort to improve the character of teenagers. Abstract The purpose of this research was to identity the relationship between smoking behavior with complications in patients with type two diabetes mellitus. The research used correlation descriptive method with cross sectional design. In this research used 54 respondents with accidental sampling which were recruited based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instrument in this research was a smoking behavior questionnaire and the complications in patients with type two diabetes mellitus observation sheet. The analyzed used univariate and bivariate with Kolmogorov Smirnov Z test. The result showed that there is a relationship between smoking behavior with diabetes mellitus complications to patiens type two with p value of 0,008, where p value < α (p value < 0,05). It is recommended for patients to improve the self-awareness of a healthy lifestyle and knowledge of health education to prevent occurred diabetes mellitus complications, both macrovascular and microvascular.
