Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the volume of Indonesian cocoa exports to Malaysia. Multiple linear regression and ordinary least squares (OLS) were employed to analyze time series of data from 2005 until 2013. Based on the analysis, it is obtained that factors that significantly effect the volume of Indonesian cocoa exports to Malaysia with a significance level (α) five percent are the real prices of Indonesian cocoa exports to Malaysia and the real prices of cocoa beans the international market.

Abstract

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is the potential for development, both in number and quality of entrepreneurship itself. Indonesia faces the reality that the number of entrepreneurs is still small, at around 1,65% (Source: Berita Kementrian Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah, March 2015)), whereas it takes at least 2% of entrepreneurs to enable a prosperous country.This research was conducted by incorporating three factors that drive an action (Theory of Planned Behavior) which implemented as a supporting factor of entrepreneurship action; attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. The type of method used a quantitative analysis. Data was collected through questionnaires and documentation. Analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and using Likert scale for measurement. The population was a student of Agribusiness UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta from 2008, 2009, 2010,2011, and 2012. The sampling is using proportionate stratified random sampling. There are 80 respondents.This research has R square = 0,412. The results of the study showed: (1) attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control is influencing simultaneously to encourage students for being an entrepreneur (p < 0,05) (2) There was a positive influence (partially) in each factors: attitude (p < 0,05), subjective norms (p < 0,05), and perceived behavioral control (p < 0,05) to affect students in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the factors that affect Vannamei shrimp in intensive pond, and (2) analyze the responses of Vannamei shrimp production to the factors of production. This research was conducted in the District Punduh Pedada Pesawaran, Lampung regency. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires and direct observations. Multiple linear regression was employed to analyze the data. The results showed that the factors that influence the production of Vannamei shrimp are shrimp fries, feeds, water mills, and spacious pools. Production elasticity of Vannamei shrimp in the district Punduh are inelastics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze effects of marketing mixes on consumer loyalties. A total of 100 respondents drawn from consumers who never consumed or consumed soy sauce ABC at least once during the last year were interviewed. Descriptive analyses and methods Path Analyses were used to analyze the relationship between the independent variables, namely products, prices, places, and promotions on the dependent variable, customer loyalties (Y2) through mediating variables or intermediate variables, consumer behaviors (Y1). Results indicated that the variables of products, prices, places, and promotions jointly had influences on consumer behaviors while partial test showed that variables of product and promotion had direct effects on consumer loyalties, and variables of price and place did not have any influences directly but through intermediary variables namely consumer behaviors.

Abstract

This research is used to view the condition of the commodities value chain of freshwater fish featured in order to achieve food stability in Tangerang. The purpose of this study were 1) to analyze the type of commodity freshwater fish seed, 2) identify commodity supply chain of freshwater fish seed, 3) analyze, identify, and map the commodity value chain of freshwater fish seed and 4) analyze the value added resulting from all actors involved in the chain of freshwater fish commodity featured in Tangerang. This research was conducted in the city of Tangerang. The analysis is the MPE analysis, supply chain, value chain and value added Hayami method. Commodities of freshwater fish are catfish featured with 155,130,122.9. Catfish supply chain involves four actors, including farmers, traders, traditional market traders and traders of processed fish. Conditions of supply chain and value chain has not been effective and efficient, especially on farmers due to limited production and margin gap. Obtained the largest margin of processed fish merchant IDR 4.4892,05/kg, while the smallest margin in farmers IDR 152,22/kg. Calculation of value added at IDR 5.532,96/kg farmers, traders IDR 2.368,23/kg, traditional market traders IDR 2061.44/kg and processed fish merchant IDR 3.578,16/fish, or IDR 2.5047,12/kg. The biggest value added obtained traders processed fish, whereas the smallest value added obtained by farmers. Therefore, as a regulator and facilitator, the government has to be increase the value added and optimize fisheries production in Tangerang.
