Abstract

Kata Kunci:Pluralisme, Revolusi Kopernikan, KeselamatanAbstractReligious plurality has a potential for conflict that can be actualized, so that under these conditions, a pattern is needed so that the conflict can at least be prevented or minimized. John Hick is a religious thinker who offers a way to this condition with his concept of religious pluralism. From there this research was written. The method used is literature study, in which data sources will be taken from books and journals relevant to this theme. The results of this study are: John Hick offers a Copernican revolution in religion, namely shifting self-liberty to Reality-centeredness in religion. Then Hick adopted the Kantian distinction of noumena (Real-Real) and phenomena (The Real as perceived) which he drew on the realm of religion to build a basis for the conception of pluralism. It is from this pluralism that Hick emphasizes that human experience when connecting with the Real is plural, and therefore the monopoly of religious claims is irrelevant; and from there pluralism as a basis for religious harmony becomes possible. Keywords:Copernican Revolution, Pluralism, Salvation

Abstract

This paper is a reflection of the research that has been done to the KH. A. Maulana Jamaludin Al-Busyiri (Haji Ule) and K.H. Salimul Apip (Ajengan Apip). Both are actively promoting activities of Sholawat from stage to stage with musical accompaniment-accompaniment in remote corners of West Java. On stage-a stage that is the poem, Sholawat chanted by borrowing a tone of songs which were popular on the tongue of the community, such as the tone of the song iwak peye, tum hi ho and others. Shalawatan used to be conducted at the mosque-the mosque, in houses with great solemnity and loaded with weights ruhaniah now appear more lively, more popular, more entertaining. The influence of pop culture looks very real in stage-stage of Sholawat on it, and this is a social fact that hinted at the middle of the occurrence of the transformation of religion in rural communities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the religious attitudes of the Muslim amid COVID-19 outbreak. Many muslims are very depressed, because the government and related authorities are trying to ban worship activities in mosques during COVID-19 pandemic. Many Muslims find it hard to leave their custom of worship together at the mosque. Many of them are still praying together in the mosque. This phenomenon is the object of the study. The results show that the pattern of worship activities carried out by Muslims amid COVID-19 pandemic has changed. At the surface level, it appears that mosques tend to be empty and closed. At a deeper level, we see a unique pattern that involves four variables:  the obligation of worship, the worship participation, the encouragement of social distancing, and the rationality of Muslims.

Abstract

This paper examines religious segregation in Desakota communities, especially in Cihampelas District, West Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia. The method used in this paper is a qualitative method through collecting data from literature review, observation, and interviews. The results of the research show that segregation of religious areas has taken place in this place from 1970 until now. The identity of religious organizations is essential for community members to determine where they will live and the social treatment they will receive. Conflicts and clashes became commonplace in the sacred pattern of the community in the Cihampelas District in the 1990s. Therefore, the social and economic changes that have occurred in society have changed many things, including the way of the religion of the people. In addition, there were significant changes in religious and religious patterns in the people in this region; before the 1990s, their sacred designs tended to be exclusive; meanwhile, after the 1990s, until now, the religious and religious patterns of society were more inclusive or characteristic types. This change in spiritual practice has created a neutral sacred zone with community members who are pluralist in faith in that area.
