Abstract

. Financing is one of the keys to implementing an education. One source of funding sourced from the government is the School Operational Assistance (BOS) program. The purpose of this study was to: (1) describe the distribution of BOS funds in the education of Islamic boarding schools in the Ministry of Religion Office in Malang Regency, (2) explain the supervision of BOS funding in Islamic boarding school education, (3) describe the implications of BOS funding in improving quality Islamic boarding school education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study research. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is analyzed by reducing relevant data, describing and drawing conclusions. The results showed that, (1) the distribution of funding for BOS funds in the education of Islamic boarding schools in the Malang Ministry of Religion Office was carried out in accordance with the flow, (2) supervision of BOS funding in improving the quality of Islamic boarding school education was carried out according to the time of disbursement at the time of reporting of BOS funds, namely by direct and indirect supervision, (3) Implications of BOS funds in improving the education quality of Islamic boarding schools, namely: improving student achievement and learning outcomes and increasing teacher welfare.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan perbedaan hasil belajar yang menggunakan model pembelajaran problerm based learning (PBL) dengan yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) kelas X OTKP pada Mata Pelajaran Korespondensi SMK YASMU Gresik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen kuasi yang berbentuk nonequivalent control group design. Subjek yang digunakan adalah kelas X OTKP 1 yang menjadi kelas eksperimen dan X OTKP 2 menjadi kelas kontrol dan objek penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning pada Mata Pelajaran Korespondensi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, tes, observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan lembar hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji homogenitas, uji normalitas, analisis gain score, dan uji t (hipotesis). Hasil penelitian menujukkan rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen 58,80 dan kelas kontrol 61; nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen 87,40 dan kelas kontrol 80,80 ; sedangkan gain score kelas eksperimen 28,60 dan kelas kontrol 19,80. Uji-t posttest menunjukkan thitung sebesar 5,013, dan ttabel sebesar 2,011 dengan taraf signifikansi ,000 (0,00). Hasil ini dapat diartikan t-test < 0,05 yaitu 0,00 < 0,05 dan thitung (5,013) > ttabel (2,011). Untuk hasil uji-t gain score menunjukkan thitung sebesar 3,935, dan ttabel sebesar 2,011 dengan taraf signifikansi ,000 (0,00). Hasil ini dapat diartikan bahwa t-test < 0,05 yaitu 0,00 < 0,05 dan thitung (3,935) > ttabel (2,011), sehingga menolak Ho dan menerima Ha yang berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang menggunakan model pembelajaran problerm based learning (PBL) dengan yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) kelas X OTKP Pada Mata Pelajaran Korespondensi SMK YASMU Gresik.
