Abstract

ABSTRACT               Marketing communication has a very important role for businesses to introduce certain products. This study aims to determine the marketing communications of Catfishes (Clarias sp) cultivator and determine the constraints faced by Catfishes (Clarias sp) cultivator in the Hang Tuah Village. This study was conducted on April, until May 2019 in Hang Tuah Village Perhentian Raja Subdistrict, Kampar Regency Riau Province. The method used is the Grounded Theory method by conducting a qualitative approach, where the determination of informants by Snowball Sampling with 12 informants.The result showed that of marketing communications effective used of Catfishes (Clarias sp) cultivator is by using mix communication Public Relation introduce Hang Tuah Village communities to be attracted to visit Hang Tuah Village. Constraints that have been of Catfishes (Clarias sp) cultivator Hang Tuah Village, cultivation of the a place far, not the cooperatives to the business of Catfishes (Clarias sp) cultivator, cultivator of the still doing cultivation simply, reduced cultivation results at certain times and promotion is still low.Keywords: Communication, Marketing, Cultivator Of The Catfishes

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to find where the supply of fish in Duricame from, Duri City is a city with poor water conditions resulting in a lack of fish supply originating from the area itself, while people's demand for fish exceeds the supply of supplies originating from the Duri area. Therefore, to meet the needs of the community in consuming fish, the distribution of fish from outside the region was carried out so that the fish supply in the Market of Duri was able to meet the demands of the community. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, the method used in this study is the survey method, the data collected includes primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from collector traders through direct interviews using prepared questionnaires, while secondary data is obtained from related agencies. Fish marketed in Denai are imported market from various regions including sea water fish supplied in the Denai market came from the Aceh region, Sibolga, TanjungBalaiKarimun, Riau Islands, and West Sumatra. While freshwater fish supplied in the Denai market come from Maninjau, TalukKuantan, Kampar, KampungPatin. The fish supplied in the Denai Market consist of sea water fish such as sarai, big fish, tuna, tuna, ray fish, gambolo fish, belida fish, baung fish, selais fish. Whereas freshwater fish consists of cork fish, tilapia, eel, gouramy fish, sepat fish, siamsepat fish, catfish, catfish and betok fish. The fish supplied in the Denai market are imported every day with amount of 5,31 tons every day.Keywords: Fish Supply, Distribution, Denai Market, Mandau District

Abstract

ABSTRACK                Research on the contribution of fisherman's wife to fisherman's household income in LubukTukkoBaru Sub-district of Pandan District of Tapanuli Tengah Regency was conducted in February. This study aims to: 1) Identify the types of work of workers' wives to increase the income of fisherman households; 2) Knowing the outpouring of working wives of workers' wives to increase the income of fishermen households; 3) Knowing the contribution of the fisherman's wife to the income of fisherman's household.The method usedinthisresearchis the method ofsurveysamplingpurposive samplingas many as16 wivesof fishermen.               The results of the study indicate that the fishermen's wife has a significant role in supporting the household economy. The wife's role in helping her husband earn a living makes the wife do double roles in the household. The contribution of the fisherman's wife to the household income is done by the work / activity which includes; as rubber tappers, fishery product processors, fish sellers, day traders and as tailors. The biggest contribution of the five jobs performed by the fisherman wife is as rubber tappers, and it can be concluded that alternative activities can be developed that is with SMEs (Micro Small Medium Enterprises)Keywords: Contribution wife, North Sumatera Revenue
