Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan performa mahasiswa yang aktif di bidang UKM softball dengan latihan metode ascending dan latihan beban 40%. Tiga puluh tiga mahasiswa yang terpilih sesuai kriteria akan dilakukan pretest untuk menetukan pembagian kelompok ascending, latihan beban 40% ataupun kelompok kontrol. Instrument test yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah push up selama 30 detik guna mengukur tingkat kekuatan otot lengan. Diberikan bentuk latihan selama 6 minggu untuk setiap kelompok dan 3 kali perlakuan dalam satu minggu. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa latihan metode ascending menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan pada variabel kekuatan otot lengan, kelompok latihan beban 40% menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan pada variabel kekuatan otot lengan. Dari data yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua kelompok mengalami peningkatan kekuatan otot lengan, hal ini bisa terjadi karena durasi latihan yang cenderung kurang panjang dan aktivitas mahasiswa yang cukup tinggi, melihat keseluruhan subjek adalah mahasiswa pendidikan olahraga yang mengikuti UKM Softball Unesa.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out empirically about the SWOT Analysis of the Persela Lamongan Club in the Indonesian League's Highest Caste. This research method is a qualitative method with a descriptive method approach. Sources of data in this study are based on observations, interviews with management, administrators, coaches, players, and supporters as well as documents. The data obtained were analyzed using triangulation techniques, namely data validation by examining facts obtained from different data sources. The results showed, in the SWOT analysis of the Persela Lamongan club in the highest caste of the Indonesian league which was carried out on management, administrators, coaches, players, and supporters that the management and administrators of Persela Lamongan had done a good job by maximizing revenue in funding Persela Lamongan from various sources and good fund management system. The coach in preparing the training program to face the Indonesian league's highest caste competition has been good in various aspects. Players have worked hard in maintaining their body condition in accordance with the directions and exercises given by the coach, players also always maintain team cohesiveness. Persela Lamongan supporters, namely LA Mania, who always support the Persela Lamongan team playing in home and away matches. the family system between management, administrators, coaches, players, supporters is very solid in looking for ideas to improve the performance of Persela Lamongan. It still takes the right strategy to fix the existing weaknesses and threats. In conclusion, the management, administrators, coaches, players, and supporters in Persela Lamongan have done a good job in participating in the competition in the highest caste of the Indonesian league. Abstract

Related to weight training with pyramid system, in this research the researcher will focus on ascending and descending pyramid system, comparison of multiple set training with pyramid model will be done with fast and slow rhythm, rhythm comparison and pyramid drill model which will be used to know the mprovementand comparison of increased strength, speed, explosive power and hypertrophy of the leg muscles. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research, using the design of "The Randomized Group Pretest-postest Design". Treatment was done for 8 weeks (two months) with exercise frequency 3 times per week. Thesample was divided into 2 groups, group 1 was given a descending pyramid training using fast rhythm, group 2 was given a descending pyramid training using a slow rhythm. It is a significant influence of the descending pyramid load system with fast and slow rhythm to strength, speed and hypertrophy of the legmuscles, but not significant in explosive power for the slow rhythm descending pyramid load.
