Abstract

The web Application For Information Systems And Transactions For Teaching Materials (SITTA) is an application that is used to support operational activities in the distribution service of teaching materials at State Universities of the Open University. The SITTA web application can be accessed on the https://distributions.ut.ac.id/ website with internal access to UT at the center and UPBJJ (Distance Learning Program Unit). The SITTA web application was used by UT employees as users of the SITTA web application, which was used recently because the SITTA web application was only implemented in early 2018. Therefore, it was deemed necessary to test its usability. This is to assess the success of the usability aspect of an information system application while at the same time knowing that the application can be useful and has been by its function or not for user needs. One of the tests that can be done is usability testing. This test is carried out using the USE Questionnaire method using 4 aspects of testing. 4 aspects tested are aspects of Usefulness, Satisfaction, and Ease of Use. The purpose of this paper is to determine user acceptance of the SITTA web application based on usability criteria. This research is a quantitative descriptive type that is carried out on users of the SITTA web application by distributing a USE Questionnaire consisting of 30 questions and using 5 points of assessment on a Likert Scale. This study obtained the results of measuring the usability of the SITTA web application with a score of 88.10% on the measurement of the usefulness aspect, 78.29% on the ease of use, 82.14% on the ease of learning, and 81.26% on the satisfaction aspect. satisfaction.

Abstract

Mobile application is one form of information technology development that continues to increase from year to year. In the development of the digital world, it is increasingly encouraging to increase the affordability of the use of mobile devices (smartphones) to generate the most sustainable technological growth. This enormous growth in its development has given impetus to smartphone manufacturers to produce new applications on mobile devices to meet user needs. A mobile application development must have user interface and user experience aspects as part of the human-computer interaction (HCI) discipline. Mobile applications under development can run on Android and iOS platforms. This study aims to identify research opportunities in the UI/UX aspect of mobile application development whose data was obtained from related journals in 2017-2021 to provide an overview of the latest studies on research related to UI/UX mobile applications and provide analysis on topics and areas that do not have enough information and what factors to focus on. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The result of this research is to provide a systematic literature review of existing studies on UI/UX mobile applications. This research is expected to be useful for the HCI community in seeing the UI/UX description in the development of mobile applications to shape the direction of future research.

Abstract

Abstrak – Universitas Terbuka (UT) dalam melayani pengiriman Bahan Ajar Cetak (BAC) UT ke mahasiswa menggunakan sebuah sistem manajemen e-supply chain. Dengan adanya perkembangan sistem informasi yang pesat, tentunya mendorong Universitas Terbuka untuk mengadopsi sistem e-supply chain guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam manajemen rantai pasok. Namun, implementasi e-supply chain tidak selalu berjalan mulus dan sering menghadapi berbagai kendala yang mempengaruhi kinerja organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi masalah-masalah yang terjadi dalam proses bisnis e-supply chain selama layanan bahan ajar cetak untuk mahasiswa UT dijalankan dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja sistem manajemen tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan pengumpulan data serta informasi melalui kegiatan forum group discussion antara UT dengan mitra dalam hal ini Perusahaan Mitra dalam Percetakan dan KG Express sebagai mitra layanan pengiriman bahan ajar cetak UT ke mahasiswa, serta analisis dokumen perusahaan dan observasi langsung terhadap proses operasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kendala utama dalam proses e-supply chain, diantaranya adalah: kasus kirim paket bahan ajar cetak yang tertukar, adanya kasus paket hilang selama proses kirim paket bahan ajar cetak, dan miss route (paket tersasar) tidak sampai ke mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis temuan, penelitian merekomendasikan beberapa perbaikan, termasuk usulan jaringan proses e-supply chain yang baru, dan proses bisnis kebutuhan setting BAC UT. Implementasi rekomendasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, efektivitas, dan keandalan sistem e-supply chain pada layanan pengiriman BAC UT ke mahasiswa di masa yang akan datang.Kata kunci: Rekomendasi, Proses Bisnis, E-Supply Chain, Layanan Bahan Ajar Cetak.  Abstract – Universitas Terbuka in serving the delivery of UT Printed Teaching Materials (BAC) to students uses an e-supply chain management system. With the rapid development of information systems, of course it encourages the Open University to adopt an e-supply chain system to increase efficiency and effectiveness in supply chain management. However, e-supply chain implementation does not always run smoothly and often faces various obstacles that affect organizational performance. This research aims to identify problems that occur in the e-supply chain business process during printed teaching material services for UT students and provide recommendations for improvements that can improve the performance of the management system. The research method used is to use a qualitative approach and collect data and information through group discussion forum activities between UT and partners, in this case Partner Companies in Printing and KG Express as service partners for sending UT printed teaching materials to students, as well as analyzing company documents and direct observation of operational processes. The research results show that there are several main obstacles in the e-supply chain process, including: cases of sending packages of printed teaching materials that are mixed up, cases of packages being lost during the process of sending packages of printed teaching materials, and miss routes not reaching student. Based on the analysis of the findings, the research recommends several improvements, including proposals for a new e-supply chain process network, and business processes requiring BAC UT settings. Implementation of these recommendations is expected to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of the e-supply chain system in UT BAC delivery services to students in the future.Keywords: Recommendations, Business Processes, E-Supply Chain, Printed Teaching Material Services.
