Abstract

This study aimed to investigate and compare the factors that influence students' motivation to learn mathematics during synchronous and asynchronous learning. Although many studies related to these two learning models have been carried out, there is still little research on the analysis related to the mathematics learning motivation of vocational program students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study involved 109 students (Diploma III and Diploma IV) of vocational universities in Bali who were randomly selected and given two different treatments on the same sample. The primary data collection instrument was arranged in a closed-ended questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using the two-sample paired Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that the motivation to learn mathematics for students in the vocational program during asynchronous online learning tended to be better than when the learning process was conducted synchronously. Based on the interviews conducted, there are several causes related to connectivity constraints, the flexibility of study time and discussion, and ease of access to learning resources.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dan membandingkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar matematika siswa selama mengikuti pembelajaran synchronous dan asynchronous. Meskipun studi terkait kedua model pembelajaran ini telah banyak dilakukan, analisis terkait motivasi belajar matematika mahasiswa program vokasi di masa pandemi Covid-19 masih sedikit ditemukan. Penelitian melibatkan 109 mahasiswa (Diploma III dan Diploma IV) perguruan tinggi vokasi di Bali yang dipilih secara acak dan diberikan dua perlakuan berbeda pada sampel yang sama. Instrumen pengumpulan data primer disusun dalam closed-ended questionnaire. Data dianalisis dengan uji dua sampel berpasangan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar matematika mahasiswa program vokasi selama mengikuti pembelajaran daring secara asynchronous cenderung lebih baik dibandingkan dengan synchronous. Berdasarkan wawancara yang dilakukan terdapat beberapa penyebab yang terkait dengan kendala konektivitas, fleksibilitas waktu belajar dan diskusi, serta kemudahan dalam akses sumber belajar.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan scientific yang valid, praktis, dan efektif serta diintegrasikan dengan penggunaan GeoGebra untuk meningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa buku siswa dan buku petunjuk guru yang dikembangkan melalui tahap preliminary research, prototyping stage, dan assessment phase. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Denpasar sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran, angket respons siswa, angket respons guru, lembar observasi keterampilan komunikasi matematika, dan tes tulis uraian. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan berada pada kategori sangat valid. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa perangkat pembelajaran telah memenuhi aspek kepraktisan. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari: 1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada uji coba terbatas tergolong praktis serta keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada uji coba lapangan I dan II tergolong sangat praktis; 2) penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari respons siswa tergolong praktis; 3) respons guru terhadap penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Perangkat pembelajaran ini juga telah memenuhi aspek keefektifan yang dilihat dari: 1) keterampilan komunikasi matematika lisan siswa pada uji coba lapangan I dan II berada pada kategori baik; 2) keterampilan komunikasi matematika tertulis siswa yang telah melampaui KKM. Kata kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, pendekatan Scientific, GeoGebra, keterampilan komunikasi. AbstractThis research was implemented by using mathematics instructional materials with scientific approach assisted by GeoGebra which were valid, practical, and effective in order to improve mathematical communication skills of students of grade VIII SMP. The instructional materials which were developed in this study consisted of student’s book and teacher’s guide book. This study was a design research implemented by preliminary research phase, prototyping stage phase, and assessment phase. The subjects of this research were the eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Denpasar. Data were collected by using observation sheet of instructional materials implementation, student’s response questionnaire, teacher’s response questionnaire, observation sheet of mathematical communication skills, and written essay test. The collected data were processed and analyzed descriptively. The result of this research showed that the developed mathematics instructional materials are categorized “very high” in validity. Based on the results of try out which were conducted, it was obtained that the instructional materials had fulfilled the practicality aspect. It could be seen from: 1) the instructional implementation on limited try out belonged to practical and instructional implementation on the first and the second field try out belonged to very practical; 2) the use of developed mathematics instructional materials which were observed from student’s response belonged to practical; and 3) teacher’s response towarded the use of mathematics instructional materials belonged to very practical in category. The instructional materials had fulfilled the effectiveness aspects which were seen from: 1) the verbal mathematics communication skills of students on the first and the second field try out were good in category; 2) the written mathematics communication skill of students had exceeded the standard minimal score. Key words: Instructional materials, scientific approach, GeoGebra, communication skills.

Abstract

Technology has a significant role to build the quality of education which is one of the world’s purpose in sustainable development goals in 2015-2030 by United Nations. The implementation of technology in education is to develop the learning media. The purpose of this study is to create interactive animation learning media that can be accessed using Android Smartphone as one of creative learning alternative in online learning. This media was applied in Statistics Subject, Regression Analysis Topic, Accounting Department of Politeknik Negeri Bali. The method used in this research was research and development (R&D). There were some steps in this research which are (1) planning and designing; (2) production and editing; (3) validating and revision; (4) implementation; and (5) evaluation step. The first step was planning and designing. In this step, the animation characters, background, color theme, and storyboard were determined. The next step was production and editing step. After that the validation steps were done. There were three validators in this research, which were Statistics Expert, Statistics Lecturer, and Media expert. The validation score of this media was 95.33 that was classified as a very good learning media and proper to be implemented. The next step was revising step as the validators’ suggestion. The learning media then was implemented in experiment class using hybrid learning environment. And as the last step, the evaluation step was done by comparing the analysis test score of experiment class and the control class. The method used in evaluation step was two independent sample t-test. As conclusion, this media can improve the ability of student in Statistical Analysis.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the understanding and concern of environmental accounting for medical waste management at the Plawad Karawang Community Health Center. This research method uses qualitative data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are that the Plawad Community Health Center has an understanding and concern for protecting and maintaining the surrounding environment, by minimizing and preventing the negative impact of the waste produced, whether by managing medical waste or being an example for people who visit the Plawad Community Health Center by providing domestic trash cans. or also called household waste (non-medical waste), and medical waste, as well as B3 waste. Plawad Community Health Center has not fully implemented environmental accounting, but the Community Health Center has incurred costs incurred from operational activities related to environmental maintenance.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah melakukan digitalisasi proses pelaporan kinerja program studi melalui pengembangan dan implementasi Sistem Inofrmasi Laporan Kinerja Program Studi (SI LKPS). Sistem informasi ini merupakan suatu sistem informasi berbasis website yang dirancang untuk mempermudah perguruan tinggi memantau kinerja program studi. Sistem ini didasarkan pada instrumen sembilan kriteria yang telah disusun oleh Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Kemenristekdikti). Sistem ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengumpulan, pengolahan, dan analisis data laporan kinerja program studi. Selain itu, dengan adanya sistem ini, perguruan tinggi dapat dengan mudah mengetahui aspek-aspek mana yang perlu ditingkatkan dan dilakukan perbaikan. Penerapan sistem ini juga dapat memudahkan perguruan tinggi dalam melakukan akreditasi program studi, dimana data yang terkumpul dari sistem dapat digunakan sebagai bukti kinerja program studi yang telah dicapai dan menjadi acuan dalam proses akreditasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang didapat akan digunakan sebagai landasan dalam mengembangkan layanan SI LKPS.
