Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is 1) to find out the historical appointment ceremony of pangulu at Balimbing village of Rambatan subdistrict of Tanah Datar regency 2) to know the proces appointment ceremony of pangulu on Kampai clan at Balimbing village of Rambatan subdistrict of Tanah Datar regency 3) to find out how important meaning appointment ceremony of pangulu for the society of Balimbing village of Rambatan subdistrict of Tanah Datar regency 4) to see implicit values on appointment ceremony of pangulu at Balimbing village of Rambatan subdistrict of Tanah Datar regency. This research is used qualitative method which is giving the complete information that will useful for knowledge. The result of this research shows the society of Balimbing village of Rambatan subdistrict of Tanah Datar regency hold appointment ceremony of pangulu with multiple processes that has a very important meaning for the society in bequeath cultural values and continuing traditional leadership on Kampai clan of Balimbing villageKey Words : Appointment ceremony of pangulu Kampai Clan

Abstract

Abstrack: This thesis discusses the tradition Parno Kumun Indigenous community, Jambi Province and Its existence in the era of globalization. Parno Adat is one of Kumun's oral tradition are classified into Lyrical Prose. Parno have a pattern that is similar to rhymes and phrases. People who present it is tengganai (boys elder in the family) and Stakeholder Customary (Depati Nenek Mamak), Parno Adat only delivered in a ceremony custom shades. The purpose of this study was to determine and explain the traditions of Parno Adat and driving factors of its existence in the era of globalization. This research was conducted using the method of history or historical. Data were collected through observation, library research, interviews, and comparative studies. The results showed that Parno Adat has an important position in traditional ceremonies in Kumun society, every ceremonies are always opened and closed through the delivery Parno, even the core of the event was also filled by delivery Parno. So, Parno Adat is the lifeblood of all traditional ceremonies so that people never leave tradition of Parno Adat and keep it amid the onslaught of globalization today.Key words: oral traditions, parno adat.

Abstract

Abstrak: art is the result of human action arising out of life and have aestethic value. Art consists of various type that include traditional music art. One of which is the art of traditional music Calempong Baoguong in Bangkinang City Kampar District. This research have a purpose to know about (1) history of musical art Calempong Baoguong in Bangkinang City Kampar District. (2) role of the government in preservation of musical arts Calempong Baoguong in Bangkinang City Kampar District. (3) role of the education department in preservation of musical arts Calempong Baoguong in Bangkinang City Kampar District. (4) role of the people in preservation of musical art Calempong Baoguong in Bangkinang City Kampar District. (5) the benefit from preservation of musical arts Calempong Baoguong in Bangkinang City Kampar District. This research use a qualitative method with approach history and collect document with observation, interview and document or library studies. Interviewers in this research is culture chair of Kampar District, people in education department of Bangkinang City Kampar District. Result of the research is show that of musical arts Calempong Baoguong begin spreading from West Sumatera up to Kampar District. The spreading process through migration people from West Sumatera to Kampar District and in a way of dominate place by Pagaruyung Kingdom at 14 Century when Adityawarman leadership. Now the musical of arts Calempong Baoguong preserved by government, education departemet and people in Bangkinang City Kampar District in every event.Key words: Calempong Baoguong, art of Kampar.

Abstract

Abstract: Balai Kerapatan Tinggi named Balai Rung Seri is building that was builtduring the reign of Sultan royal Siak. Balai Kerapatan Tinggi is a building that was built during the reight of sultan Siak kingdom. Balai Kerapatan Tinggi used for deliberation and the judiciary in resolving the existing problems in the Kingdom Siak. This is evident during the Sultan Assyaidis Syarif Hasyim Abdul Jalil Syaifuddin, Balai Kerapatan Tinggi very important role in regulating goverment. As for the purpose of this study was to determine the background of the establishment of the Balai Kerapatan Tinggi at the time of the Sultan Sultan Assyaidis Syarif Hasyim Abdul Jalil Syaifuddin, to know the purpose ot the establishment of centers, to know the role of the Balai Kerapatan Tinggi at the time of the Sultan Assyaidis Syarif Hasyim Abdul Jalil Syaifuddin, to know the officer or the person great royal Balai Kerapatan Tinggi Siak play roles in the future Sultan Assyaidis Syarif Hasyim Abdul Jalil Syaifuddin. The method used in this study is the historical method and qualitative method. Where the data were collected through interviews, documentation, and literature. Data was analyzed using qualitative way. As for the location of research that Kecamatan Siak Kabupaten Siak Provinsi Riau. When research started from the seminar proposal to thethesis examination. The result showe that the Balai Kerapatan Tinggi was first builth during Sultan Assyaidis Syarif Hasyim Abdul Jalil Syaifuddin.these centers play an important role in the Kingdom Siak, which is used to place the trial, the coronation of the king and ceremonies led by the royal Sultan Siak.
