Abstract

This study aims to 1) To examine the communication of the educational zoning policy for the acceptance of new students in the city of Makassar, 2) To describe the implementation of the educational zoning policy for the acceptance of new students in the city of Makassar, 3) To describe the pattern of mass communication in the education zoning policy on the acceptance of participants. new students in Makassar city. This research method uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model, namely data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The results showed that 1) the communication of the educational zoning policy for the acceptance of new students was deemed to be less effective, 2) The implementation of the zoning policy for New Student Admissions is considered less effective, 3) The mass communication pattern in the zoning policy for new student education in Makassar is considered effective. Overall, it can be understood that the communication of education zoning policies in Makassar City is less effective, this is the absence of massive socialization

Abstract

. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bersifat kegiatan pendahuluan. Artinya peserta lebih dahulu diberikan pemahaman materi terus dilanjutkan dengan tanya jawab disertai dengan kegiatan diskusi mengenai kompetensi dasar yang akan di ajarkan kepada peserta didik. Setelah kegiatan ini berakhir diperoleh hasil berupa 20 orang guru SMA di-Kabupaten Polewali Mandar mengikuti pelaksanaan kegiatan peningkatan penguasaan kompetensi professional khususnya pada kompetensi dasar menganalisis dampak politik, budaya, sosial, dan pendidikan pada masa penjajahan bangsa Eropa (Portugis, Spanyol, Belanda, Inggris) dalam kehidupan bangsa Indonesia. Diharapkan dengan adanya pelatihan ini dapat meningkatan penguasaan kompetensi dasar menganalisis Konsep berpikir diakronik dan sinkronik bagi guru mata pelajaran Sejarah SMA se-Kabupaten Polmas, diharapkan kepada pihak AGSI (Asosiasi Guru Sejarah Indonesia) dan pihak Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Sulawesi Barat untuk tingkat SMA sederajat untuk lebih memperhatikan mengenai penguasaan kompetensi bagi para guru khususnya kompetensi profesional maupun kompetensi lainnya.Abstract. This training activity is an introductory activity. This means that participants are first given an understanding of the material, followed by questions and answers accompanied by discussion activities regarding the basic competencies that will be taught to students. After this activity ended, the results were obtained in the form of 20 high school teachers in Polewali Mandar Regency participating in the implementation of activities to increase mastery of professional competence, especially in basic competencies to analyze political, cultural, social and educational impacts during the European colonial period (Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, English ) in the life of the Indonesian nation. It is hoped that this training will improve the mastery of basic competencies in analyzing the concept of diachronic and synchronic thinking for History teachers at SMAs throughout Polmas District. Thus, it is hoped that the AGSI (Association of Indonesian History Teachers) and the South Sulawesi Province Education and Culture Office for high school and equivalent levels will pay more attention to the mastery of competencies for teachers, especially professional competencies and other competencies
