Abstract

The objectives of this study are (1) to know the English teaching materials taught in Guidance and Counselling at this time, (2) to know the skills needed by students in the Guidance and Counselling department in communication using English, (3) to know the English materials needed students to face the world of work. The type of data obtained in the preliminary study is qualitative data and the results of the needs analysis of students' profile. This data is obtained by using interview and questionnaires. The type of data that results in the development of the model is qualitative data, which is the result of the validation of a team of experts; The results of individual test, and small group tests. The effectiveness test data is quantitative data. The results of this study are: (1) Descriptions of the needs of English language teaching materials, (2) Skills needed by students in communication using English, (3) English language teaching materials and (4) Effectiveness test results with T-Tests indicating that teaching materials English based on English for Specific Purposess developed in this field of research, effective; and the feasibility test of teaching materials shows the test results of 82, the results of the language feasibility test 87, the results of the feasibility test presentation 78, and the results of the feasibility test of decorative elements 75.Keywords: ESP, Guidance and Counselling, Material

Abstract

The policy of maintaining physical distance during the Pandemic made every lecturer to conduct e-learning so that learning continued. This certainly forces lecturers to improve their competence. To determine the success of this learning system, an evaluation of the process and competence of lecturers in implementing e-learning is carried out. This study aims to determine the profile of the implementation of e-learning in the Faculty of Education during the Pandemic and to validate the competency model framework of lecturers in managing e-learning. Validation of this competency model is carried out using the Delphi method. The instrument used was a questionnaire containing a list of competency indicators that included planning and preparation, learning environment, instruction in learning, professional responsibility. The research panelists were 5 experts in the development of e-learning based on their experiences, research and scientific publications, 10 lecturers who used to organize e-learning, and 15 students who did e-learning. Panelists are asked to provide an assessment of the list of competencies provided. This research was conducted in three Delphi rounds. The first round produced 100 competency indicators with an 82% approval rate. in the second round, the competent indicator changed to 68 indicators with an approval rate of 90%. In the final round, this study succeeded in validating 40 models of lecturer competence in conducting e-learning. All of the competency models were approved by all panelists with an approval rate reaching 100%. The implementation of e-learning does not only focus on placing students at the center of the learning process but must still focus on learning objectives. The application of this competency model needs to consider several things related to the following matters. As for what needs to be considered is the readiness of the lecturers themselves in conducting e-learning which is marked by their competencies, as well as the availability of other supporting devices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan focus group discussion untuk meningkatkan moral judgment mahasiswa yang mencontek. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 orang dilakukan mengunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dan dianalisis dengan menggunkan uji Wilcoxon. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji Z dan diperoleh jumlah ZTabel > ZHitung = -1,96 >  -2,805, dengan standar deviasi pada pre-test = 6,34 dan pada post-test = 3,6. Dari data statistik tersebut maka disimpulkan Ha diterima yang artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan penerapan Focus Group Discussion terhadap peningkatan Moral Judgement Mahasiswa terhadap Prilaku Menyontek di Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling Unimed T.A 2017/2018.Kata kunci : Moral Judgement, Focused Group Discussion, Menyontek

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a model that is used as a reference to improve cooperation and participation active stakeholders Elementary and secondary schools in Si Empat Nempu Hilir District, Dairi Regency. Method used is research and development method with stages developed by Borg and Gall.  This research will produce Model Management school and Book Guidelines application model. This model will be tested in three stages, namely: the test stage try, Step main and Step operational, with involve school and stakeholders in primary and secondary schools. The analytical technique that the researcher uses is statistical analysis with a qualitative approach and quantitative. Researcher hope that model MSB3 could increase cooperation and participation active stakeholders in advance school in Si Empat Nempu Hilir, Dairi Regency

Abstract

This study aims to create a digital textbook based on project based Learning Model in research methods Subject. The research using the ADDIE model. The development stage is the stage of manufacture of digibook android-based in accordance with the design plan. Media experts give excellent ratings for throughout the item with the total amount of 82.50 with an average value is 4.10. This application is tested on 30 students of the 1st half of Guidance and Counseling Department of the Faculty of Education Unimed. The results of calculations throughout the student questionnaire responses obtained 87.15%% percentage of aspects of good feelings, 86.57% of the student's interest aspects of the use of the application, 85.85% of aspects of attention, and 88.24% of aspects of student involvement.

Abstract

Mobile Learning For English Subject In The Department Of Guidance And Counseling Universitas Negeri Medan. The purpose of this study was to determine the shape of the android based Mobile Learning needed by students majoring in guidance and counseling Unimed on learning English. Abstract

Permasalahan prioritas yang ditemukan di lapangan adalah sebagai berikut. 1) terbatasnya sumber daya manusia guru SDN 040570 dalam dalam menangani siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar; 2) belum adanya program penyiapan siswa menghadapi kesulitan belajar; 3) sekolah dan guru tidak memiliki instrumen untuk mendiagnosis dan remediasi kesulitan penguasaan materi pembelajaran (KPMP). Tujuan kemitraan masyarakat ini adalah untuk meminimalisir masalah masalah belajar yang muncul di era Pandemi covid 19 ini adalah dengan melakukan Program Penyiapan Siswa Menghadapi Kesulitan Belajar: Diagnosis dan Remediasi Kesulitan Penguasaan Materi Pembelajaran (KPMP). Dalam mengatasi permasalahan tersebut tim pengabdi merumuskan dan mengimplementasikan program kerja sama seluruh tenaga pendidik mulai dari kepala sekolah, wali kelas, dan guru mata pelajaran dalam mengentaskan masalah kesulitan belajar yang dihadapai anak. Secara umum program ini meliputi kegiatan sosialisasi program, pelaksanaan program, dan pelaporan dan evaluasi. Pelaksanaan program penyiapan siswa menghadapi kesulitan belajar ini dilakukan dengan metode diagnosis dan remediasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pendidikan, pelatihan, praktik dan pendampingan langsung. Kegiatan program kemitraan masyarakat yang dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) kali pertemuan dalam bentuk FGD dan Workshop berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Pada setiap pertemuan tatap muka dengan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi, dilanjutkan dengan workshop (latihan/praktek).Hasilnya setelah guru mampu mendiagnosis sendiri kesulitan belajar siswa, guru akhirnya secara spesifik mengetahui materi pelajaran apa yang menyebabkan siswa mengalami kesulitan belajar dan selanjutnya dilakukan remediasi dengan pedoman yang telah dimiliki oelh guru.
