Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price, income and service quality on consumer demand for Semuril drinking water depot. The sample of this research is the consumers of Semuril drinking water depot, with a total sample of 100 people who were selected using simple random sampling. The analytical method used in this research is a quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: (1) price has a significant effect on consumer demand; (2) income does not have a significant effect on consumer demand; and (3) service quality has a significant effect on consumer demand.

Abstract

Personal accident insurance is protection against all risks of a person resulting in death and accidents to a person. This study aims to determine what factors affect the satisfaction of high school students whose one school is located in North Sumatra towards the use of personal accident insurance products at PT. Takaful Keluarga Medan. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population of this study was conducted on students in one of the senior high schools in North Sumatra with a sample finding of 71 students. Using primary data by distributing questionnaires and multiple regression analysis methods using hypothesis testing. The results of this study simultaneously from the variables of product quality, price, and service quality have a significant effect on customer satisfaction (high shcool stidents). Then partially the product quality variable also has an effect on customer satisfaction and the price variable itself has a significant effect on customer satisfaction and the quality variable has no significant positive effect on customer satisfaction (high school students). Abstract

Sharia insurance is an effort to protect and help each other among policyholders which is carried out through the collection and management of tabarru funds that provide a pattern of returns to face certain risks through contracts that are in accordance with sharia principles. The aims of this study are (1) to understand the financial performance of Islamic insurance companies, (2) to understand the company's zakat, (3) to understand the effect of financial performance on Islamic insurance companies' zakat, and (4) to understand ROE and ROA. The research used in this research is quantitative deskriptive. The data is taken from secondary data, namely secondary financial statements. Hypothesis testing in this study uses regression analysis. In this study using the company's performance by using the ratio of ROE and ROA. The results of this study indicate that the company's performance using the ROE and ROA methods on the calculation of company zakat has a positive influence on company zakat, but all the results of the calculation can be concluded that insurance company zakat is influenced by the company's operational performance but not fully influenced by ROA and ROE, however. This could be a factor that influences the company in issuing its obligation to pay zakat. Keywords: Financial Performance, Corporate Zakat, Sharia Insurance

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan dampak usaha tambak udang vaname dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Pantai Gading melalui usaha tambak udang vaname. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Pantai Gading Kecamatan Secanggang Kabupaten Langkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam, sedangkan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat, dengan mengembangkan sumber daya alam dengan mengoptimalkan lahan non produktif menjadi tambak udang vaname. Indikator kesejahteraan masyarakat di Desa Pantai Gading yaitu pendapatan masyarakat, kesempatan kerja, pendidikan, kesehatan, dan perumahan. Faktor pendukung peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pengembangan budidaya udang vaname yaitu kemuda han akses sumber daya, etos kerja masyarakat, dan dorongan ekonomi. Faktor penghambat peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pengembangan budidaya udang vaname adalah permodalan, tidak adanya bantuan dari pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

At present the tourism sector is one of the very promising industries, in order to improve the economy of the people in tourism objects not only for share owners, but in fact the existence of tourism objects also has a role in the economy of the surrounding community. The aim of this research is to find out how the impact of tourism on improving the economy of the community on the idea of ​​IUMKM and to find out the impact of tourism on improving the IUMKM on the community on the idea of ​​Sopotinjak. The method of this research uses a descriptive-qualitative method. The result of this research is that the tourism sector is one of the people's economic potentials that needs to be developed in order to increase people's welfare. The existing tourism potentials have not yet been fully developed, even though these potentials are very promising. The funds for the establishment of the immanent ones come from self-help in the community. The interest of investors in investing in the activities of establishing the Desa Tourism Sopotinjak is still very minimal. So that infrastructure and infrastructure in there have not yet been fully fulfilled i.e. with the existence of tourism objects in an area i will directly open up jobs and fields for the surrounding community especially in the surrounding area i. is one of the tourism objects that becomes the object of research. Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of fintech through digital payments on the development of in Indonesia with limited problems in the city of Medan. The type of research used is descriptive combination. The data source used is primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents in this case business actors, micro, small and medium enterprises which are supported by research through interviews with business actors, micro, small and medium enterprises to see opinions about the application of digital payments on his business. The analytical technique used in this study is simple linear regression analysis by testing using the SPSS 26 application. The results of the study state that the digital payment variable has a positive and significant effect on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises. Meanwhile, based on the results of the interviews, it was taken that there was a positive impact from the provision of digital payments for in providing security, convenience and also speed in carrying out transaction processes Keywords: Fintech, Digital Payment, Bussines, Micro, Small and Medium

Abstract

This research was made in purpose of examine and analyze the effect of service quality (SQ), Customer’s trust (CT) and satisfaction (CS) on purchasing decisions in the personal selling activities of PT. Prudential Sharia Life Assurance. The data was collected using a massive survey that had been created based on predetermined research indicators. The population in this research are active customers of PT. Prudential Sharia Life Assurance and as counted as 85 data of the respondents are used as the samples. The analytical method that had been used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The analytical results show that SQ, CT, and CS, along with personal selling have a significant effect on purchase intention. CS has a significant effect on personal selling, while SQ and CT have no significant effect on personal selling. Personal selling cannot mediate SQ and CT on PI. Abstract

The high growth of service companies in Indonesia encourages companies to attract the hearts of their customers in order to become loyal customers of the company's products, one of the service companies that continues to grow in Indonesia is a service company in the insurance sector. Where life insurance is now seen as important and necessary in everyday life. One alternative approach that is widely used by companies is to create brand trust and the company's brand image to gain customer loyalty. This study aims to determine the effect of brand trust and brand image partially or simultaneously on customer loyalty in using life insurance at Ajb Bumiputera 1912 Medan. The method used in this study uses a quantitative method by taking 89 respondents from selected customers as research samples through probability sampling technique with calculations using the slovin formula. The questionnaire uses hypothesis testing with SPSS version 25 software and uses linear data using multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results of this study simultaneously from the variable brand trust (X1) and brand image (X2) have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. And partially the variables brand trust (X1) and brand image (X2) also have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty in using life insurance.
