Abstract

This research was conducted to facilitate the translation of maf'ul ma'ah into English because basically the translation of maf'ul ma'ah is difficult because the wawu used does not only have one meaning while there is no standard term in English to make it easier.Furthermore, the purpose of this research is firstly to explain the similarities and differences between maf'ul ma'ah in Arabic and the accompaniment complement in English, secondly to describe the forms of translation of maf'ûl ma'ah into English, thirdly to find out the implications of the analysismaf'ûl ma'ah contrastive to English translation.Researchers have classified examples of translating maf'ul ma'ah into English and have also been described in this study so that it can be seen that the translation of wawu ma'iyah into English does not only use one word but there are 7 clear meanings along with how the meaning contained therein. So from the results of the analysis that has been done, in general it can be concluded that wawu ma'iyah is translated based on the context of the sentence. Abstract

This research departs from the need for good Arabic language learning with good methods. One method that can be used is the word square method which provides opportunities for students to build their knowledge more actively and creatively, especially in mufrodat learning. This research is research that uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type, namely the pretest-posttest design which aims to determine the effect and extent of the influence of the word square method in improving the Arabic mufradat of class VIII students at MTs Ar-Rohmah Bonder, Central Lombok, NTB. Data collection techniques in research using questionnaires and tests then the results of the two instruments were analyzed using the t-test with the help of SPSS, while the steps taken in data analysis were: validity, reliability, questionnaire data analysis, hypothesis testing, analysis of learning outcomes hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, the researcher found that there was an effect of the word square method in increasing the mufradat of class VIII students of MTs Ar-Rahmah Bonder, Central Lombok, NTB, which indicated that there had been an increase in the average student learning score from 46.00 to 79.60. It is shown in the related table for the sample t that the value of sig. (2-tail) In the data obtained learning outcomes of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the hypothesis Ha from research related to learning outcomes can be accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

In ma'had al-Jami'ah there are many alumni of public schools who have never studied Arabic before, therefore ma'had al Jami'ah held a language program called "Lailatul Lughah" with the aim of providing Arabic language learning (Vocabulary and Daily Conversation). This research focuses on how the process of using the book " La Taskut " and its application in learning Arabic to students of Ma'had al - Jami'ah Mataram State Islamic University. The method used in this research is descriptive method.  The results of the research that can be concluded by researchers through the process of interviews, documentation and direct observation are student learning at Ma'had al-Jami'ah Mataram State Islamic University using the book "La Taskut" In learning Arabic at Ma'had al Jami'ah the students faced and the solutions were: a) students who did not like Arabic because they had not studied Arabic before.  And the solution is that the teacher gives them practice and teaches them at the basic stage, b) Students have not applied the learning in their daily life and the solution is that the teacher continues to provide examples and motivate students to apply it in their daily life.

Abstract

This research aims to comprehend the utilization of the book "Al-Miftah lil-‘Ulum" in teaching Nahwu science at Darul Falah International School, Bagon Mataram, and to identify obstacles arising in teaching Nahwu science using the book. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis involves data reduction, presentation, and result verification. The findings reveal that the Nahwu science teaching process with the book "Al-Miftah lil-‘Ulum" includes pre-lesson, core activities, and concluding activities. Challenges encountered encompass students' difficulty in reading writings on the board, specific difficulties in each volume, student boredom, and teacher absenteeism hindering goal achievement. Teacher obstacles include student delays, students not bringing books during teaching, non-repetition of "Al-Miftah lil-‘Ulum" lessons in the dormitory, difficulty understanding students' abilities, classroom management challenges, and difficulty providing motivation. This research supports recommendations to explore the effectiveness of "Al-Miftah lil-‘Ulum" as a Nahwu learning source and evaluate its teaching methods. It is suggested to focus on its impact on students' understanding and strategies to enhance its integration into the official curriculum. The research encourages exploring student responses to the book's use, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions through qualitative and quantitative methods for comprehensive understanding.
