Abstract

In line with the growing use of computers in medicine, the perceived needs of the image data in digital format. The digital format allows for storage of image data in the computer and processes for further image analysis. Available images today are analog images, the necessary process of digitization with digitizer equipment.The image obtained is not necessarily as expected. Supporting equipment, film, and the scanner has a part in creating the image.Quality of image enhancement is needed to create a quality image allows physicians in diagnosing and minimize the possibility of error analysis.?One of the digital image processing techniques is improving the quality of the image (image enhancement). This is done to obtain a good image after a loss of quality during the process of digitizing the image. Image enhancement techniques are divided into two parts. They are spatial domain and frequency domain. This study uses the spatial domain technique which consists of two stages, such as point operation and mask operation. Image experiments performed with several samples such as thorak, collar bone, bone, body tissue, and the image of the hand. Some sample images have different characteristics but the process of image enhancement have in common that will be improving the image brightness.?Combining the methods of image enhancement performed to get the final digital image that has good qualities, such as histogram function,sharpen function, and continued with the function of a negative image. The final result of the digital image after processing showed that the better image quality.?

Abstract

Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI) marupakan mesin terbaik dalam mendiagnosa tumor otak. Namun Interpretasi MRI membutuhkan waktu lama, dan sulitnya mendeteksi adanya edema. Edema adalah jaringan yang berada di dekat sel tumor aktif dan tumpang tindih dengan jaringan normal. Saat ini proses diagnosa citra MRI masih mengandalkan kemampuan pakar radiologi secara manual. Hal ini membutuhkan waktu lama, dan keputusan yang diambil dapat bersifat subjektif.  Sehingga dibutuhkan sistem yang mampu melakukan segmentasi citra MRI untuk membagi daerah-daerah citra menjadi beberapa bagian yang homogen. Pada makalah ini akan dijelaskan metode-metode segmentasi citra pada MRI tumor otak. Penjelasan akan dimulai dari pemahaman tumor otak, peralatan penghasil citra otak seperti MRI, dan metode-metode segmentasi yang pernah dilakukan peneliti sebelumnya. Metode pengklasteran dapat menjadi salah satu pendekatannya. Dan pengklasteran fuzzy merupakan metode yang unggul untuk segmentasi citra tumor otak. Kata kunci: MRI, segmentasi, tumor otak

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities in Indonesia still employ the lecture method which is considered traditional, therefore it is necessary to refresh it by utilizing learning media in teaching and learning activities. One of the methods applied is using learning media based on android game in which it puts forward user experience to its user. With this interesting educational game, children will not realize that what they are doing includes learning and children will feel happy and want to learn. This application is intended for the android smartphone platform. This development method uses Research and Development (R&D) with an Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. The results of the black box test from the research are that this android game-based learning media can run well.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir dan kreatifitas siswa. Perubahan tersebut memberikan pengaruh untuk mengoreksi kekurangan dari pembelajaran konvensional, dimana proses belajar menggunakan papan tulis sebagai sarana utama, bersifat statis dan guru menjadi satu-satunya informasi. Selain itu, semakin banyak siswa yang harus ditangani guru dapat menurunkan kualitas mengajar. Pemanfaatan internet dalam proses belajar mengajar berupa e-learning mampu mengatasi kekurangan tersebut. Sehingga dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian berupa pelatihan penggunaan e-learning bagi guru-guru di lingkungan PCM Kartasura guna meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Kegiatan ini diikuti sebanyak 21 peserta. Metode pelatihan berupa penyajian materi dan pendampingan penggunaan e-learning. Survei dilakukan kepada peserta sebelum pelaksanaan pelatihan (pretest) dan setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan (posttest). Hasil pengolahan data instrumen tes menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan mengenai e-learning meningkat sebesar 12.38% dan kemampuan mengelola e-learning meningkat sebanyak 22.86%.

Abstract

Perpustakaan SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta memiliki peran penting sebagai sarana pendidikan yang menunjang proses belajar mengajar. Saat ini perpustakaan SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta masih menggunakan sistem pencataan manual dalam mengolah data buku, melakukan pencarian data anggota dan data transaksi peminjaman sehingga kurang efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi perpustakaan untuk dapat diterapkan di dalam perpustakaan dengan berbasis website sehingga dapat mempermudah pekerjaan staf dalam melakukan kegiatan perpustakaan dan meningkatkan kinerja staf perpustakaan Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi, sedangkan untuk pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode waterfall. Perangkat lunak pendukung dalam membuat sistem informasi perpustakaan di SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surakarta adalah Text Editor, Web Server dan Browser. Hasil penelitian diujikan menggunakan blackbox testing dan memperlihatkan sistem informasi yang dibagun telah sesuai dengan yang dibutuhkan.
