Abstract

Practicum Geographical information systems and remote sensing have become one of the basic competencies in the realm of skills in the geography learning process at the high school level The purpose of this study is to identify problems or obstacles faced by geography teachers in carrying out geographic information systems and remote sensing practicum activities in high schools in Wonogiri Regency this is a qualitative descriptive study with the use of random sampling. Data collection uses a questionnaire about the implementation of geographic information system practice and remote sensing to the teacher. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques to analyze the factors that become obstacles in the application of geographic information system practice and remote sensing in high school. The result is the obstacles factor of geographic information system and remote sensing practicum in in high schools in Wonogiri is (1). Hardware devices that have not been installed software specifically for geography information systems and remote sensing The teacher has a low ability in the geography and remote sensing information system practicum skills and does not coordinate with the teacher or laboratory assistant for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subjects (3) Insufficient time allocation for practicum and absence of geographic information system and remote sensing practice tests as evaluations

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: (1) teacher's level of understanding of maritime material, (2) the ability of teachers in the preparation of maritime learning media, (3) student acceptance of maritime learning. This type of research is qualitative with the research method used is the sample survey method. The study population was all Social Sciences Junior High School Teachers in Surakarta. Samples were taken at random as many as 36 ips teachers both from public and private junior high schools in Surakarta. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and documentation. Based on research results obtained by the level of understanding of maritime teachers as much as 79% are at a medium level, as well as the level of teacher's ability to make maritime learning media as much as 61% are in the medium level so that student acceptance of maritime learning as much as 66% is in the medium level.

Abstract

In the 2013 curriculum, learning is focused on student centers or known as active learning. This study aims to determine the obstacles faced in implementing active learning two stay two stray cooperative model and their effects on social studies outcomes of junior high school students. This research is a classroom action research with research subjects in the form of 8th grade students of Surakarta 9th Junior High School, Surakarta City, Central Java Province. The research method used in data collection is a participant observation method in which the researcher acts as a teacher to find out the obstacles when implementing active learning two stay two stray models and the test method is used to measure the ability of student learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used is comparative descriptive analysis and critical analysis. The results of this study are (1) there are four aspects that become obstacles when applying active learning two stay two stray cooperative model in social studies subjects namely aspects of time management, classroom management, learning resources, and student activity. (2) active learning two stay two stray cooperative model very effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to determine the dynamics of settlement density in Kartasura District in 2007 - 2017; (2) knowing the dynamics of settlement patterns in Kartasura District in 2007 - 2017; and (3) determine the quality of settlements in Kartasura District in 2017. The research method used a qualitative method, using a spatial (spatial) approach. Data analysis using inductive analysis techniques. The results of the study (1) the level of settlement density in 2007 - 2017 continued to increase, (2) the quality of settlement patterns in 2007 - 2017 continued to decline, and (3) the quality of settlements in Kartasura District in 2017 was dominated by moderate quality but not a few are of poor quality. Keywords : Quality of Settlements, Dynamics, Settlements

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor penting dalam menunjang percepatan pembangunan nasional. Banyak daerah di Indonesia yang tengah giat menggali potensi pariwisata dengan memanfaatkan sumberdaya alam dan kebudayaan pada masing-masing daerah. Penilaian terhadap potensi wisata dan partisipasi masyarakat sangat penting untuk mendukung pariwisata berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui potensi wisata dan partisipasi masyarakat pada lokasi desa-desa wisata di Kabupaten Karanganyar sehingga  strategi pengembangan yang diambil sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keadaan pada saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desa wisata di Kabupaten Karanganyar mempunyai potensi sedang dan tinggi karena tiap desa wisata mempunyai keunikan atraksi sesuai dengan sumberdaya alam dan budaya pada masing-masing desa. Partisipasi masyarakat termasuk ke dalam derajat partisipasi semu yang berarti masyarakat telah di dengar dan ikut mengemukakan pendapat, tetapi tidak ada jaminan bahwa pandangan yang dikemukakan dapat diterima oleh pemegang kekuasaan dan sangat kecil untuk menghasilkan perubahan dalam masyarakat. Strategi pengembangan yang dapat diambil yaitu strategi strengths-threats dengan menjalankan kegiatan wisata sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan yang telah di anjurkan pemerintah dan mencantumkan bukti bahwa kawasan desa wisata merupakan zona hijau agar menghindari penyebaran covid-19.
