Abstract

The mathematics learning outcomes of most of the VIII grade students of MTsN Lubuk Buaya have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria. One of the efforts that can be made by the teacher to activate students in learning which can improve student learning outcomes is to apply an active learning strategy of the Listener Team type using Microsoft Powerpoint media. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities and learning outcomes of students' mathematics by implementing an active learning strategy of Listening Team type using Microsoft Powerpoint media. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study were students of class VIII MTsN Lubuk Buaya. The sampling technique was done by drawing numbers and the selected samples were students of class VIII.2 as the experimental class and class VIII.3 as the control class. The data were first tested for normality, homogeneity test and analysis of variance. The results showed that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who used the application of the Listener Team type active learning strategy using Microsoft Powerpoint media were better than conventional learning in class VIII MTsN Lubuk Buaya. The student activity data was obtained through observations at each meeting in the experimental class which showed that students' mathematics learning activities increased after being taught by implementing an active learning strategy of Listening Team type using Microsoft Powerpoint media in class VIII MTsN Lubuk Buaya.

Abstract

This study aims to (a) To describe the urgency of pedagogical competence in fostering student character (b) To describe the urgency of personality competence in fostering student character (c) To describe the urgency of social competence in fostering student character (d) To describe the urgency of professional competence in coaching student character. Retrieval of data using qualitative descriptive methods to describe and describethe urgency of teacher competence in fostering student character in MTsN Pancung Soal in accordance with what it is and analyze it scientifically. The research data collection was carried out on the Principal, Teachers and Students of MTsN Pancung Soal Pesisir Selatan District by using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Indicators of character development that need to be done in learning are reviewed from 4 (four) aspects of teacher competency, namely: (1) the urgency of pedagogical competenciesin the form of understanding character values for students, applying character values inthe implementation of learning, instilling character values in utilizing learning technology,evaluating learning outcomes and actualizing student potential. (2) the urgency of personality competence in the form of inculcation of character values in loving position, being fair toall students, being patient and calm, and building authority as educators. (3) the urgency of social competence in the form of instilling values of politeness in oral and writtencommunication, the use of information technology and functional communication, associating effectively with the whole school community and student guardians. (4) the urgency of professional competence in the form of inculcation of character values in the educational foundation as well as in learning materials.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to (1) To know the ability of reading al-Qur'an Khaira Ummah Islamic Elementary School students Padang. (2) PAI teacher business in improving students' Quran Reading Ability of Class IV and V at Khaira Ummah Islamic Elementary School in Padang. This research is field research (field research), This research type is qualitative research with descriptive approach. Primary data sources in this study were PAI teachers and classroom teachers, while the secondary data sources were principals, students, and school documents. data collection techniques that the author uses are oral tests, observation, interviews and documentation. To analyze the data the authors use descriptive qualitative analysis, which describes the problems that occur in the field as is. Step analysis of data is data reduction, data presentation, conclusion. Based on the research that has been done by the writer in Islamic Elementary School of Khaira Ummah Padang can be known (1) Ability of students to read al-Qur'an from 104 students found 77 get value between 84 until 91, the value belong to good category, 25 students get value between 74 and 79, this value belongs to a simple category, and 2 students gain a score of between 40 to 59, this value belongs to the weak category (2) Teachers improve skills by giving motivation to learn, be good, create atmosphere in learning , varied teaching methods, reading habits of the Qur'an and giving training tasks in accordance with the ability of learners.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the application of the values of Character Education Through Usroh Activities. Character education is an education system that instills values in each individual, which includes knowledge, awareness and actions to be able to apply praiseworthy behavior to the almighty God, towards oneself, others, the environment and the nation and country. This type of research is field research that uses a qualitative approach. Collecting data in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. While the data analysis method uses descriptive analysis. The results of the discussion showed that the application of character education in SMP UNP Padang Laboratory Development included several activities including reading Asmaul Husna, reading the Koran, advice from the school principal, reading the Al-Fatihan letter for parents, praying for students, teachers, and people old and finally closed with remembrance. The activity was carried out before the teaching and learning activities in the school yard. This activity is carried out every Tuesday to Friday. The values of character education that are expected to be embedded from these activities include, among others, religious, disciplined, responsible and creative.

Abstract

The library is a center of knowledge that must be managed properly and correctly in an educational institution. SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti is a school where all kinds of activities get more attention from the government, one of which is through the library. various assistance, facilities and infrastructure in the form of a collection of books are always provided. However, the operation of the library at SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti is currently still managed in a conventional way. Starting from the data collection process to borrowing books is still done manually. Causing activities to be slow, inefficient and errors tend to be repeated frequently. So the Design of a Library Information System at SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti Using Visual Basic 2010 Programming Language and Supported by Mysql Database is the right solution to overcome these problems. The results of the evaluation of the library system that has been designed show that the library system has features of computerized automation of data processing, transactions and the creation of important reports that have made it easier for librarians to manage the library.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to illustrate the efforts made by parents in providing sex education to children aged 6-13 years. To explain what form of child questions about sex and to explain the obstacles faced by parents in providing sex education to children aged 6-13 years in Sungai Kuyung KecamatanPancung Soal Sub-District. This research is field research with descriptive qualitative methods. In the determination of the sample the author uses snowball sampling. The results of the research that has been conducted in Sungai Kuyung River Village are parents trying to provide sex education to the child and answer the child's questions about sex. Here parents play a role in teaching child sex abuse by applying when entering the parent's room by asking permission before entering, teaching how to look at the situation seen by the child. Then parents also avoid the child from free sex by separating the bed between the parent and brother or sister. Parents also explain about sex to their child as much as they can.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the pattern of class-based character education through instructional and non-instructional approach to learning the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in SMP Islam Khaira Ummah Ikur Koto Padang. The study also aims to determine the factors supporting and hindering the implementation of character education at the school. Qualitative methods have been used in carrying out this study. The data source is taken from six (6) informants, consisting of three (3) teachers PAI and three (3) class teachers. All data were taken using the in-depth interviews , and thematically analyzed using qualitative analysis tools. The results of this study clearly shows that there are five important themes implementation pattern of character education in the areas of instructional namely: (insert character values into the syllabus, lesson plans, learning materials, habituation to the students and make teachers as an example). As in the realm of non-instructional found three themes, namely: (insert character value to management, trust and consensus grade). In the supporting factors were found four themes, namely: (a curriculum that has been integrated, competent teachers, completeness of facilities and infrastructure, as well as the establishment of good cooperation between the school and parents). Whereas the inhibiting factors isfound two important themes, namely: (a lack of training for teachers on how to implement a character education and schools are often faced with various problems morals of students, especially students with problems from other schools and move to SMP Khaira Ummah).Keywords: Character Education, instructional and non-instructional approach, SMP Islam Khaira Ummah

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to Visual Basic learning modules and Problem Based Learning-based engineering drawings. The research method used to develop this module is the Research and Development version of Borg and Gall simplified by Anik Ghufron, Anik Ghufron's simplified Borg and Gall development model has four steps: 1) Preliminary Research, 2) Development, 3) Field Testing,4) Product Deployment. This study uses one way of collecting data in the form of validation questionnaires. The results showed that the module developed was declared feasible with the validity value of Materials Specialist 3.16 and Media Expert 3.67. The data obtained shows that Visual Basic learning modules and resulting problem-based learning images can be executed.

Abstract

This study aims to identify school bullying behavior in 13 PelangaiKaciak State Elementary Schools, Pesisir Districts, Pessel Districts. The initial research subjects were all teachers and students at SD 13 Pelangaikaciak.. The research location is in the Elementary School 13 PelangaiKaciak, using a qualitative approach. The data collection method used non-participatory observation, in-depth interviews, documentation and field notes. The data analysis technique used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that school bullying occurred at the State Elementary School 13 PelangaiKaciak with the following results. (1) teachers' lack of knowledge about school bullying, as well as the opinion of teachers who say that delinquency in their schools is still normal; (2) the reaction shown by the victim is silence, fear or crying; the perpetrator shows indifferent and happy behavior; while the audience shows a reaction, fights the perpetrator, defends the perpetrator or is silent; (3) the forms of school bullying that occur are physical (hitting with a broom handle, hitting with hands, pushing) and non-physical (verbal: threatening, forcing, shouting, teasing; direct non-verbal: yelling, scolding, ordering, pointing). with the fingers; non-verbal indirect: exclusion).

Abstract

That with the spread of the covid-19 virus, the teaching and learning process has turned into distance learning to limit the spread of the covid 19 virus. Online distance learning began in early March 2020. This requires educators to think about what methods and media will be used. used for the teaching and learning process. For this reason, learning videos (Youtube) are used in the classroom teaching process. The purpose of this study was to improve learning outcomes by applying learning videos (Youtube) in Class X TKJ 1 SMK Muhamadiyah 1 Padang. Based on the data analysis of the first cycle to the second cycle there is an increase in learning outcomes. The average student learning outcome in the first cycle was 82.57 with a percentage of 72.73%. At the end of the second cycle learning outcomes increased to 87.45 with a percentage of 91.34%. The minimum completeness standard in this study is 80 and the research indicator is determined that 80% of students complete above the SKM. In this study, there were 91.34% of students above the SKM. Based on the results of this study,the teachers in the field studies can use learning videos for online learning.
