Abstract

The thesis entitled “The Influence of Group Counseling Using The Way Modelling Method to Improve Speaking Skills In Santri”. The background of this that many santri do not have the courage to speak in public, speaking skill is one aspect of language skills that is productive, meaning that is an ability that a person conveys ideas, thoughts skills of Ahlul Quro’ boarding school students and to determine the effect of group counseling using the modeling the way method to inprove speaking skills of Ahlul Quro’ boarding school students. The methodology in this study uses a quantitative research type, this research is an experimental research while the design used is a one group pretest[1]posttest experimental design. The population in this study amounted to 33 students, to take samples using a purposive sampling technique totaling 9 students from the entire population. The instruments contained in this study are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. This research uses paired sample t test analysis. The results of the study before being given treatment, the results of the pretest pictures of the level of speaking skills of the students in the counseling group were in the medium category with a presentation of 46%, after being given treatment the results of the posttest pictures of the speaking skills of the students in the counseling group were in the medium category with a presentation of 54%. Then the result of the sign value (2-tailed) is smaller than 0.005 (0.00<0.005) wich shows H0 is rejected an Ha is acception. ><0.005) wich shows H0 is rejected an Ha is acception.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Role of Individual Counseling Using Stress Inoculation Training (SIT) Techniques to Overcome Stress in the Elderly at PSLU Harapan Kita Palembang". The purpose of this stress inoculation training technique is to find out the description of stress in the elderly and the application of stress inoculation training techniques to deal with stress in the elderly. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. The results of this study are that before carrying out individual counseling it can be seen that the elderly do not have sensitivity to the stress disorders they sometimes experience, which is marked by indicators that include references to determine the existence of stress disorders that are being experienced such as headaches, loss of appetite, difficulty sleeping, irritable, and likes to be alone. After providing individual counseling and techniques that the elderly can implement in their daily lives, the overcoming of elderly stress begins to be seen when the elderly can be consistent in applying the techniques provided as seen from the perspective of the elderly who remain calm, able to control their breath, think positively, and are able to process their emotions to avoid stress.

Abstract

Al-annanah is often faced by individuals with disabilities, which can affect their psychological well-being and quality of life. The application of Islamic counseling will provide a strong framework of values ​​and principles in guiding participants in understanding and overcoming their al-annanah with a view that is in accordance with Islamic teachings. This research is entitled "Implementation of Islamic Counseling with Modeling Techniques in Overcoming Al-annanah in Persons with Disabilities at the Budi Perkasa Center Palembang". The purpose of this research is to find out how the description of the condition of Al-annanah in persons with disabilities and to find out how the application of Islamic counseling with Modeling Techniques in dealing with Al-annanah in persons with disabilities. The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses the theory of Miles and Huberman. This data analysis technique consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the effectiveness of applying Islamic counseling with modeling techniques in overcoming al-annanah in persons with disabilities. These findings can make important contributions to counseling practitioners, especially in expanding existing counseling approaches and improving services aimed at this population.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Implementation of Group Guidance with the Story Method to Assist Career Planning for Beneficiaries of the Budi Perkasa Sentra Palembang". Career planning is a process that goes through individual employees to identify and take steps to achieve their career goals. This study aims to find out the description of career planning for the beneficiaries of the Budi Perkasa Sentra Palembang and to find out the application of group guidance with the story method in assisting career planning for the beneficiaries of the Sentra Budi Perkasa Palembang. This research is a field research using a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were six beneficiaries of Sentra Budi Perkasa Palembang. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the Miles and Huberman models, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that prior to implementing group guidance services using the story method to assist career planning for beneficiaries of the Budi Perkasa Sentra Palembang there were still many beneficiaries who had unclear future careers as indicated by knowledge and attitude aspects. Furthermore, after implementing group guidance services with the story method to assist career planning for beneficiaries of the Budi Perkasa Palembang Center, beneficiaries have started to have thoughts about future career plans after leaving the Budi Perkasa Palembang Sentra program. Thus the application of group guidance with the story method for career planning for beneficiaries at the Budi Perkasa Sentra Palembang has a significant effect.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The Role of Islamic Counseling to Reduce Ghasab Behavior in Female Students at An-Nur Tebing Suluh Islamic Boarding School". Where ghasab is an act of taking or using an object that is not his right without the permission of the owner. Ghasab is different from stealing, because the perpetrator does not intend to make the item he is wearing his property. Ghasab behavior, if allowed to become entrenched, will become the forerunner of corrupt behavior, because it starts with stuttering about normal negative behavior over small things. This study aims to find out the description of ghasab behavior in female students before carrying out Islamic group counseling to reduce ghasab behavior in female students and to find out the description of ghasab behavior in female students after carrying out Islamic group counseling. The location of this research is at the An-Nur Tebing Suluh Islamic Boarding School, Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. There were 5 subjects in this study, namely DNA, AH, TSP, AD and MRP. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation while the data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study prior to the implementation of the Islamic group counseling process showed that students still often borrow items without permission, use other people's items without permission and take advantage of items without the owner's permission. Factors for students to perform ghasab include social factors (weak awareness), environmental factors (interaction that is too close), and situational factors. Then there was a change in the five subjects, namely the students already had their own items and did not use the belongings of their friends anymore, the students were subject to ghasab behavior and did not carry out ghasab behavior and there was a change in the behavior of students who initially used items without permission now to get permission first when they want to use them. other people's stuff.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the fathers in Sindang Marga village are very obsessed with the koprok gambling game, that those who do koprok gambling actually do not only fulfill the economy, but they think that by doing this gambling they can improve their standard of living with small capital and get profits. the big ones seem to have to work hard. This study examines the "Effectiveness of group counseling with the Thought Stopping technique to reduce koprok gambling addiction in Sindang Marga Village, Sungai Keruh District, Musi Banyuasin Regency." The research objectives were to determine koprok gambling behavior among adult men and to determine the effectiveness of group counseling with the Thought Stopping technique to reduce koprok gambling behavior among adult men in Sindang Marga Village, Sungai Keruh District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The research methodology used in this study is quantitative and experimental research in the form of a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In this study, there were 7 samples using data analysis techniques through validity, reliability, Wilcoxon tests. The results of the study (1) Koprok gambling behavior among adult men in Sindang Marga Village can be seen from the results of the frequency descriptive analysis test, the response value of respondents was obtained as many as 28 gentlemen stated that the percentage value of 79.42% (mean) was in the very high category, this is proves that koprok gambling behavior is formed due to compulsive behavior, dependence and difficulty to control themselves because the koprok gambling game thinks they will get additional benefits or money if they win the gambling game, whereas in reality the koprok gambling players only spend time, skip prayer time to show excessive anger towards the family when reprimanding them for playing koprok gambling in Sindang Marga Village. (2) obtained from the Wilcoxon test = Asymp.sig (2-tailed) is 0.000. Value 0.01 < 0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that group counseling with the Thought Stopping technique is effectively used to reduce koprok gambling addiction among adult men.

Abstract

This thesis is entitled "The Relationship of Authoritarian Parenting to Psychosomatic Disorders in Students in Preparing Their Final Thesis Assignments". The background is Authoritarian Parenting or authoritarian parenting towards Psychosomatic Disorders experienced by students in preparing their final assignments. Psychosomatic disorders are a term that refers to complaints of physical symptoms that arise due to psychological factors. Final year students who are working on their thesis, how can they complete their thesis on time, if there is no support from those closest to them. Authoritarian Parenting is a parent's authoritarian parenting style by setting absolute standards that children must follow. This research aims to determine the description of authoritarian parenting in students when preparing their final thesis assignment, the description of psychosomatic disorders in students in preparing their final thesis assignment and the relationship between Authoritarian Parenting and Psychosomatic Disorders in Students in Preparing their Final Thesis Assignment. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The subjects in this research were a population of 104 respondents and a sample of 36 respondents, sampling was taken using the Simple Random Sampling Technique. Data collection techniques use questionnaire and documentation methods. The data analysis technique uses the Pearson Produst Moment test with the help of the From Windows SPSS Version 22 program. The results of the research show firstly, that the depiction of authoritarian parenting among students preparing their final thesis assignments is at a medium level with a percentage of 64% for 23 people. Second, the description of psychosomatic disorders in students preparing their final thesis assignments is at a moderate level with a percentage of 67%, as many as 24 people. And thirdly, it is known that the Asymp sig. (2-tailed) result is 0.001, the value is 0.001 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is a relationship between authoritarian parenting and psychosomatic disorders in students in preparing their final thesis assignments with a relationship value of 0.733. in a strong relationship and has a positive relationship direction.

Abstract

This research is about "The Effectiveness of Group Counseling Using Symbolic Modeling Techniques in Efforts to Overcome Society's Negative Stigma Against Former Drug Addicts". This research is motivated by information and globalization, various information can be obtained easily. One of the events currently being discussed among the public is the problem of negative stigma. This research aims to first, find out the negative stigma of society before conducting group counseling using symbolic modeling techniques in an effort to overcome the negative stigma towards former drug addicts. Second, to determine the effectiveness of group counseling using symbolic modeling techniques in an effort to overcome society's negative stigma towards former drug addicts. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach, with a population of 67 people with a sample of 12 people using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires, documentation. Data analysis techniques through the Wilxocon test with the help of the Windows SPSS version.26 program. The results of the research show first, the level of negative societal stigma towards former drug addicts before group counseling using symbolic modeling techniques was in the high category. Second, the results obtained show that Asymp.sig (2-tailed) is worth .002. With a value of .002<0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that group counseling using the Symbolic Modeling technique is effectively used to reduce society's negative stigma towards former drug addicts.

Abstract

This research is entitled Application of Narrative Counseling in Overcoming Negative Self-Concept (Case Study of Client "D" at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation). The aim of this research is First, to find out the negative self-concept picture of client "D" at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation. Second, to find out the application of narrative counseling in overcoming the negative self-concept of client "D" at the Ar-Rahman Drug Rehabilitation Center Foundation. In this research, the author used field research, a qualitative approach, and used a case study research method. Data collection tools in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. Research results, 1) client "D"'s self-concept is classified as problematic and more negative, where client "D" is easily offended when receiving criticism, easily angry, thirsty for praise, and treats other people as enemies. 2) The application of narrative counseling consists of an initial stage, middle stage, evaluation and final stage. The results after applying narrative counseling made client "D" have a new perspective on himself, client "D" was able to accept input and criticism well, was able to control emotions, understood the meaning of praise, and was also confident and able to have positive thoughts towards other people.

Abstract

This research is entitled "The effectiveness of group counseling using the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy approach to increase Andikpas' Self Awareness". The aim of this research is to describe the level of self-awareness of andikpas, as well as help andikpas with low self-awareness. This research used a true experimental method with a population of 113 people and a sample of 32 respondents. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique, with a total of 24 respondents, data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS 23. The results of the research show that the level of self-awareness andikpas is in the medium category at 67%, and the results of the paired sample t-test for the experimental group show a significance value of 0.000<0.05, and The control group showed a significance value of 0.002<0.05, it can be concluded that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, so it can be concluded that group counseling with the REBT approach or group counseling is equally effective in increasing self-awareness and education, but there are differences in the level of effectiveness between group counseling and the group counseling approach. REBT and group counseling.
