Abstract

Siliwangi University as an educational institution that has one of the responsibilities of community service, Siliwangi University conducts Thematic Work Lecture (KKN) activities in the context of community empowerment through the introduction of the concept of entrepreneurship in several areas of Tasikmalaya Regency, one of them in Dirgahayu Village, Kadipaten District is a village which is located in a mountainous area which has 6 hamlets namely Trowek, Palumbungan, Cijotang, Cipeusing, Cilongkeang and Gekbrong. The focus that we take in Dirgahayu Village is to foster community interest in entrepreneurship, in Dirgahayu village itself there are already a few people who have started entrepreneurship, it's just that the community is still lacking in innovation or utilization of local resources in the village. This is due to the lack of good technology utilization. This service uses counseling method which was attended by 30 people of Dirgahayu Village, especially Youth Organization and PKK ladies. Aiming to provide knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship by utilizing local resources. The results of this activity are processed cassava products in the form of chips with seblak flavored innovation, however there is still a need to improve product design for product packaging to make it more attractive.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kelompok Studi Pasar Modal Universitas Siliwangi sebagai wadah sarana edukasi yang memiliki salah satu peran untuk mengembangkan kemampuan dan pengetahuan pada mahasiswa dan juga untuk mensosialisasikan tentang pasar modal. KSPM melaksanakan kegiatan visit emiten dalam rangka pemberdayaan mahasiswa umumnya dan mahasiswa fakultas ekonomi pada khususnya melalui pengenalan seluk beluk mengenai perusahaan-perusahaan yang sudah go public. Perusahaan yang dikunjungi oleh KSPM yaitu PT Chitose International Tbk. yang berada di Jl. HMS Mintareja Sarjana Hukum,Baros,Cimahi Tengah, Kota Cimahi, Jawa Barat.PT Chitose International Tbk.yang mulai menginjak sebagai perusahaan go public dengan jumlah peserta 30 orang mahasiswa, yang mana listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2014 ini memiliki kode saham CINT. Fokus yang diambil dari PT Chitose Tbk. yaitu mahasiswa dapat memahami lebih jauh terhadap tingkat pertumbuhan prosentase dari perusahaan tersebut dalam perannya sebagai investor. Kegiatan lain yang dilaksanakan yaitu pengenalan proses produksi pada PT Chitose Tbk pada bidang furniture dari tahap pembuatan awal sampai akhir. Dilanjut dengan pengenalan marketing PT Chitose International Tbk. dalam mempromosikan dan saluran distribusi produknya ke berbagai daerah di Indonesia.Abstract: The Siliwangi University Capital Market Study Group as an educational facility that has a role to develop the ability and knowledge of students and also to socialize about the capital market. KSPM conducts issuers' visit activities in the context of empowering general students and economics faculty students in particular through an introduction to the ins and outs of companies that have gone public. The company visited by the KSPM is PT Chitose International Tbk. which is on Jl. HMS Mintareja Bachelor of Laws, Baros, Cimahi Tengah, Cimahi City, West Java. PT Chitose International Tbk. Which started to step on as a publicly listed company with 30 participants from financial management students, which listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 has a CINT stock code. Focus is taken from PT Chitose Tbk. that is, students can further understand the percentage growth rate of the company in its role as an investor. Another activity carried out was the introduction of the production process at PT Chitose Tbk in the furniture sector from the initial manufacturing stage to the end. Followed by the introduction of marketing PT Chitose International Tbk. in promoting and distributing its products to various regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian pada masyarakat melalui sosialisasi dan edukasi serta literasi pasar modal ini bertujuan untuk menambah partisipasi masyarakat berinvestasi di pasar modal khususnya di kalangan civitas academika Universitas Siliwangi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 peserta yang mana 20 peserta berasal dari ORMAWA Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Siliwangi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui metode diskusi dan tanya jawab daripada peserta yang dilaksanakan dengan 2 materi dalam satu hari kegiatan. Namun demikian kegiatan ini perlu ditindak lanjuti kembali dimana dengan kegiatan lanjutan literasi pasar modal ini peserta memiliki antusias yang tinggi untuk memperluas wawasan mengenai pasar modal serta perlu diperluas kembali sasaran atau target dari kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi pasar modal ini. Abstract: Community service through socialization and education as well as capital market literacy aims to increase public participation in investing in the capital market, especially among the Siliwangi University academic community. This activity was attended by 30 participants, of which 20 participants came from the ORMAWA Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Department of Economic Education, Siliwangi University. This activity was carried out through the method of discussion and question and answer than participants who carried out with 2 materials in one day of the activity. However, this activity needs to be followed up again where with the continued activity of capital market literacy, participants have a high enthusiasm to broaden their horizons about the capital market and also need to expand the targets or targets of this capital market education and education socialization activity.
