Abstract

XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of red and white cement. PCC cement packaging uses the main machine, namely the Rotary Packer machine, the packaging depends on consumer demand. If consumer demand continues to increase, the packaging process will take place continuously without stopping, and on the contrary, if consumer demand decreases slightly, the packaging process will also take place less. The high downtime of the Packer 1 machine causes production targets to be achieved, delays in the distribution process, and non-productive activities for employees. Based on these problems, the calculation of the effectiveness value on the Packer 1 machine using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. Which aims to determine the value of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) of the Packer 1 machine, to determine the comparison of the OEE value of the Packer 1 machine with international OEE values, and to determine the priority factors for repair and the root causes of problems and solutions. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the Packer 1 machine OEE value is 16.98% which is obtained from the Availability Ratio value of 49.48%, the Performance Efficiency Ratio of 30.04 and the Rate of Quality product of 100%.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a palm oil factory (PKS) producing crude palm oil (CPO). PT. XYZ has not implemented an effective engine maintenance system. The maintenance system that has been implemented is corrective maintenance, which is making repairs when there is damage. In addition, it is also assisted with planned maintenance that is scheduled every week to clean production machines. Therefore it is necessary to identify machine components that are susceptible to damage (critical components) and it is necessary to take special care measures for critical machine components by implementing a predective maintenance schedule (Prevention). Simulation techniques, often known as Monte Carlo simulation, estimate reliability using sampling random scenario. Failure mode effect analisys (FMEA) is defined as a process used to determine the actions that should be taken to ensure that each physical item or a system can run properly according to the function desired by the user then based on data processing, replacement of the roller binding drum binding drum , angle iron welding, chain transmission component replacement, drum stopper bearing replacement. Replacement of the drum stopper bolt, replacement of the chain transmission part is very loose and the replacement of the iron is carried out in corrective maintenance (replacement of components after damage occurs). And the results at the lowest value on the thresher engine component are in the Loose Transmission Chain component, the repair rate is 0.5 hours and the number is 0.999737189. Based on the results of the analysis of numbers (availability), the highest number is found in Broken Elbow Iron with a repair rate of 3 hours and the number 0.999605833

Abstract

XYZ is a company engaged in the processing of palm oil into crude palm oil (CPO). In processing oil palm fruit, the digester machine is one of the machines that crush the loose fruit so that the pulp of the palm fruit can be separated from the nuts / seeds and this will facilitate the pressing process of the oil palm fruit in a screw press. Total productive maintenance (TPM) is a system that is useful in increasing factory productivity and the efficiency of company production by using machines / equipment effectively used to produce a product. The main purpose of implementing TPM is carried out through the overall equipment effectiveness analysis method to identify and types of damage to critical components that are the object of research and to increase the overall equipment effectiveness value as a performance measure of the results of this study. To determine the comparison of the overall equipment effectiveness value, the calculation of the effectiveness value of the digester machine is carried out using the overall equipment effectiveness method. Based on the results of data processing, it can be concluded that the overall equipment effectiveness value of the digester machine is 3.95%, which is obtained from the availability ratio of 41.24%, the performance efficiency ratio of 157.57 and the rate of quality product of 100%.

Abstract

The refore it is necessary to identify the engine components who are prone to breakage (critical component) and necessary to do action maintenance specifically against critical components engine by applying maintenance schedule prediktif ( prevention) simulation technique, often know as estimate reliability using a random sampling scenario failure mode and effects (FMEA) defined as a process used to deter mine action to be done to guarantee each item physical or system can go well according to the function performed by its usersthen basedon data processing, replacement, inspection of turn filter componentsone time per year with atime sixty minutes, thegear box is worn outonetime per year with a time of one hundred andtwenty minutes, leaking in the engine body as much asone a year during eighty minutes, thewire caught fire one time per year with time fifty minutes, cable having problems as much one time per year with time one hundred eighty minutes.

Abstract

Dashboard is a panel on the front of the car interior, here usually there are several facilities, such as instrumentation panels, drawers, radio / tape, and air conditioning. The dashboard also has many functions as a place for instrument panels and warning signal gauges and also has an audio system, ventilation air-conditioning head and many others. And here the researcher wants to know the strength on the car dashboard by using the tensile test method. Tensile testing is one such test. The method used in this research is a tensile test method using a UTM machine. Material testing machine with a length of 100 mm using ASTM E8. The results of the study have 5 specimens for the first specimen on the car dashboard having a tensile stress with a value of 33,95 Mpa strain with a value of 0,02 And the modulus of elasticity with a value of 1.697,5 Mpa the second specimen on the car dashboard has a tensile stress with a value of 35,98 Mpa strain with a value of 0,03 And the modulus of elasticity with a value of 1.199,33 Mpa The third specimen on the dashboard of the car has a tensile stress with a value of 43,55 Mpa strain with a value of 0,01 And the modulus of elasticity with a value of 4.345 Mpa the fourth specimen on the car dashboard has a tensile stress with a value of 33,95 Mpa strain with a value of 0,01 And the modulus of elasticity with a value of 3.395 Mpa the fifth specimen on the car dashboard has a tensile stress with a value of 42,77 Mpa strain with a value of 0,02 and modulus of elasticity with a value of 2.138,5 Mpa

Abstract

Plastic Fiber Upholstery Is a component that plays an important role for comfort and safety for motorcycle riders, the shape of the seat plastic fiber is also different according to the needs of motorcycles both in terms of type and type. Functions of Plastic Fiber Upholstery seats to support weight and shock absorbers. And here the researcher wants to know the strength of the Plastic Fiber Upholstery using the Tensile test method. Tensile testing is one such test. The method used in this research is a tensile test method using a UTM machine. Material testing machine with a length of 104 mm using ASTM E8. The results of this study have 5 specimens for the first specimen on Fiber Plastic Upholstery has a tensile stress with a value of 33.50 MPa, strain with a value of 0.03. And the modulus of elasticity with a value of 1,176.6 MPa. The second specimen on Plastic Fiber Upholstery had a tensile stress of 30.55 MPa, a strain with a value of 0.02. And the modulus of elasticity with a value of 1.527.5 MPa. The third specimen on Plastic Fiber Upholstery has a tensile stress of 51.60 MPa, a strain of 0.06. And the modulus of elasticity with a value of 860 MPa. The fourth specimen on Plastic Fiber Upholstery has a tensile stress of 19.01 MPa, a strain of 0.02. And the modulus of elasticity with a value of 950.5 MPa. The fifth specimen on Fiber Plastic Upholstery has a tensile stress of 44.81 MPa, a strain of 0.03. And the modulus of elasticity with a value of 1493.6 MPa.
