Abstrak: Pandemi covid-19 masih berlangsung hingga sekarang. Tahun 2021 pemerintah mengeluarkan SK bersama dari kemendikbud, kemenag, kemenkes dan mendagri yang memutuskan bahwa kegiatan belajar mengajar sudah diizinkan di sekolah. Dalam mewujudkan merdeka belajar pada masa pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas adanya kegiatan yang dipilih, jika kegiatan pembelajaran yang disediakan hanya 1 kegiatan saja maka esensi dari merdeka belajar tidak bisa dimunculkan. Selain itu, kegiatan pembelajaran untuk anak usia dini harus mencakup 3 jenis main yaitu main sensorimotor, main peran dan main pembangunan. Sedangkan di lembaga – lembaga PAUD di desa betoyoguci jarang memfasilitasi jenis main peran dan main pembangunan. Untuk itu diperlukan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang merdeka belajar bagi guru melalui kegiatan seminar. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan seminar ini yaitu 1) melakukan kesepakatan dengan lembaga – lembaga PAUD di desa betoyoguci kec. Manyar kab. Gresik 2) perumusan, penyusunan materi dan publikasi kegiatan seminar pengabdian 3) pelaksanaan kegiatan seminar pengabdian. 4) pelaporan kegiatan seminar pengabdian. Jumlah peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah 10 peserta dan capaian kegiatan pada kegiatan seminar pengabdian adanya peningkatan pengetahuan guru terkait merdeka belajar anak usia di di masa pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas.Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing. In 2021 the government issued a joint decree from the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Religion, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Home Affairs which decided that teaching and learning activities were permitted in schools.In realizing independent learning during the face-to-face learning period, there are limited activities to choose from, if only 1 learning activity is provided, then the essence of independent learning cannot be raised.In addition, learning activities for early childhood should include 3 types of play, namely sensorimotor play, role play and development play.Meanwhile, early childhood education institutions in the village of Betoyoguci rarely facilitate the type of role play and development play. For this reason, it is necessary to increase knowledge about independent learning for teachers through seminars. The stages of implementing this seminar are 1) making an agreement with early childhood education institutions in the village of Betoyoguci, Kec. Manyar kab. Gresik 2) formulation, preparation of materials and publication of service seminar activities 3) implementation of service seminar activities. 4) reporting of service seminar activities.The number of participants in this activity was 10 participants and the achievements of the activities at the service seminar activity were an increase in teacher knowledge related to independent learning for young children during the face-to-face learning period was limited.
