Abstract

Abstrak: Pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi sejak awal tahun 2020 berdampak pada sektor kesehatan dan ekonomi di semua lapisan masyarakat. Dampak nyata yang dialami oleh masyarakat adalah penurunan pendapatan yang berimbas pada tingkat ketahanan pangan keluarga. Keluarga yang memiliki tingkat pendapatan yang rendah akan memiliki kesulitan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan gizi bagi keluarga. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan keluarga dalam mengembangkan wirausaha keluarga bidang gizi dengan memanfaatkan pangan lokal yaitu daun kelor . Kegiatan ini dilakukan di dua kelurahan yaitu kelurahan Mamunyu dan Sinyoyoi Selatan yang diikuti oleh 30 peserta. Peserta adalah para ibu yang menjadi perwakilan rumah tangga . Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan unsur PKK, kader Posyandu dan aparat kelurahan agar kegiatan ini dapat berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dalam bentuk ceramah dan diskusi. Selain itu, peserta juga difasilitasi dan didampingi dalam pengolahan bahan pangan lokal. Evaluasi yang dilakukan dalam bentuk pre dan post-test. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 100% peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dengan skor benar >80% dan berhak memperoleh sertifikat penyuluhan keamanan pangan (PKP) dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Mamuju. Diharapkan pihak pemerintah dapat memfasilitasi para pelaku usaha keluarga tersebut dalam mengembangkan usaha mereka dengan mendukung dan mendampingi mereka hingga memperoleh no. PIRT pada usaha mereka.Abstract : The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred since the beginning of 2020 impacts both the health and the economic sectors at all levels of society. The real impact experienced by the community is a decrease in income which impacts the food security level of families. Families who have a low-income level will have difficulty meeting their nutritional needs. This community service aimed to empower families in developing family entrepreneurs in the field of nutrition by utilizing local food, namely Moringa leaves. This activity was carried out in two villages, namely Mamunyu and South Sinyoyoi villages, which were attended by 30 participants. Participants are mothers who are household representatives. This activity also involves PKK elements, Posyandu cadres, and village officials so that this activity can be sustainable. The method used was counseling in the form of lectures and discussions. In addition, participants were also facilitated and assisted in processing the local food. The evaluation was carried out in the form of pre and post-test. The results of the evaluation showed that 100% of participants experienced an increase in knowledge with a correct score of >80% and were entitled to a certificate of food safety education (PKP) from the Mamuju District Health Office. It is expected that the government can facilitate family business actors in developing their businesses by supporting and assisting them to obtain PIRT number.

Abstract

Several studies have suggested that applying patterns of consumption of vegetables and fruit since children will positively contribute to vegetable and fruit intake through adolescence and adulthood. Therefore, efforts to increase vegetable and fruit intake since childhood urgent. Azria and Husnah's research results (2016) show that there is an influence of counseling on behavioral changes about balanced nutrition in infants. The results of Afif and Sumarmi (2017) research also show that there is a relationship between the role of mothers as educators with consumption of fruit vegetables in children associated with the supply of vegetables and fruit at home. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nutrition counseling on lecture and discussion methods on mother's knowledge of vegetable and fruit intake in elementary school children in Mamuju Regency. This type of research is experimental. This research was conducted at 001 Mamuju Public Elementary School as the location of the control group and Rimuku Inpres Elementary School as the location of the intervention group. The sample was divided into two groups, the first group as an intervention group was given lecture nutrition counseling accompanied by discussion while the second group as a control group was given lecture counseling counseling without discussion of mothers of elementary school children. The number of samples were 30 control groups and 30 intervention groups so that the total sample was 60 people. The results showed that there was an influence of lecture nutrition counseling accompanied by a discussion of mother's knowledge about vegetable and fruit intake in elementary school children (p <0.05). It is expected that nutrition counseling is carried out through lecture methods accompanied by discussions to increase mothers' knowledge about vegetable and fruit intake in elementary school children.

Abstract

Based on the data of SSGI 2021, the prevalence of stunting among under-five children in West Sulawesi is still quite high, namely 40.38%. Disturbances in the food and health systems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic have the potential to further exacerbate nutritional problems among children. One form of social support to the community is to maximize family resources through increasing knowledge related to preventing stunting problems during the Covid-19 pandemic. This community service activity aimed to provide 2P education, namely the provision of balanced nutrition and the Provision of honey. Educational materials are provided in the form of video slides sent via WhatsApp Group. The main targets were 15 participants that consist of cadres and mothers of under five children in the working area of ​​the Tinambung Health Center. Evaluation was carried out in the form of questions and answers and discussions with participants. Health workers need to be more innovative in promoting health and nutrition during the pandemic, such as regularly spreading nutrition messages through WhatsApp messages.   ABSTRAK Berdasarkan hasil SSGI 2021 menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi balita stunting di Sulawesi Barat masih cukup tinggi yaitu 33,8%. Gangguan pada sistem pangan dan kesehatan yang diakibatkan oleh pandemi Covid-19 berpotensi semakin memperburuk masalah gizi balita. Salah satu bentuk dukungan sosial kepada masyarakat adalah dengan memaksimalkan sumber daya keluarga melalui peningkatan pengetahuan terkait pencegahan masalah stunting di masa pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi 2P yaitu pemenuhan gizi seimbang dan pemberian madu. Materi edukasi diberikan dalam bentuk video slides melalui WhatsApp Group. Sasaran utama kegiatan ini adalah 15 peserta yang terdiri dari kader dan ibu balita yang ada di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tinambung. Evaluasi dilakukan dalam bentuk tanya jawab dan diskusi dengan peserta. Petugas kesehatan perlu lebih inovatif dalam melakukan promosi kesehatan dan gizi selama masa pandemi seperti rutin menyebarkan pesan gizi melalui pesan WhatsApp.

Abstract

West Sulawesi is the second province with the highest stunting rate, above the national average of 41.59%, based on the 2018 Basic Health Research data. In 2019 it decreased to 40.38%. However, this figure is still below the national target. Maternal parenting and giving MP-ASI that are less than optimal are among the main causes of stunting. This study aims to determine the factors that cause stunting while providing complementary feeding to children under five in the stunting locus area in Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi. This research method is quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. Random sampling selected the number of samples, as many as 130 under-two children aged 6-13 months. Data were processed using the chi-square test and multivariate analysis using the logistic regression test. This study shows that the pattern of giving complementary feeding to children aged 6-23 months is still low. The pattern of giving MP-ASI from the type, amount, and time of giving MP-ASI was still lacking, namely 72.3%, 80%, and 45.8%, respectively. There was a relationship between the type of complementary feeding and stunting (ρ<0.05, OR 2.590 ). So education and counseling activities regarding Infants and Young Children Feeding (IYCF) need to be intensified, especially for mothers in the stunting locus area.

Abstract

Stunting, keadaan Balita dimana Tinggi/Panjang Badan lebih pendek dari anak seusianya yang normal, jika dibandingkan dengan standar Z-Score < -2). Daun Kelor, tanakan yang sangat kaya akan zat gizi terutama, Fe, Ca, Zn, dan Protein, salah satu penyebab stunting pada belita adalah kurangnya asupan mineral tersebut. Tujuan dri penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan daya terima dan kandungan zat gizi kue baruas dengan penambahan tepung daun kelor. Metode penelitain Preference Test/Acceptance Test, metode sampling purposie sampling, menggunakan panelis masyarakat sebanyak 87 orang. Uji statistic menggunakan Kruskal Wallis, dan uji Mamm Whitney U , analisa zat gizi, Atomisasi (AAS) untuk Logam, dan kjeldahl untuk Protein. Hasil penelitian, semua jenis kue disukai oleh panelis, nilai > 391,5. ada perbedaan daya terima panelis berdasarkan rasa, aroma, warna. Pada kue 0%,dengan 5%, 10% dan 15%, p-value <0.05. Tidak ada perbedaan penerimaan panelis berdasarkan tekstur kue, tidak ada perbedaan penerimaan pada kue denan pemanbahan tepung daun kelor 5%, 10%, dan 15%, p-value > 0,05; kue penambahan tepung daun kelor nilai rata-rata tertingi sebesar 30,3 adalah kue baruas daun kelor 5% Kesimpulan, semakin tinggi konsentrasi penambahan tepung daun kelor, daya terima panelis semalin berkurng, namun bilai gizi semalin keningkat. Saran, Penelitian selanjutnya, mengunakan kue penambahan tepung daun kelor 5%, dengan memperbaiki rasan warna dengan penambahan BTM dan pewarna alaimi.

Abstract

Abstrak: Wilayah Kecamatan Kalukku, Mamuju, Sulawesi Barat merupakan daerah yang memiliki beberapa titik lokus stunting artinya cukup banyak persentase kejadian stunting di wilayah tersebut di samping balita yang mengalami gizi kurang. Pola pemberian MP-ASI pada anak usia 6-23 bulan pada daerah tersebut masih rendah. Pola pemberian MP-ASI dari jenis, jumlah dan waktu pemberian MP-ASI masih kurang yaitu sebanyak 72,3%, 80% dan 45.8% secara berturut-turut dan ada hubungan antara jenis MP-ASI dengan stunting. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan produktivitas keluarga baduta dalam menyiapkan MP-ASI lokal bagi baduta. Sasaran kegiatan ini yaitu ibu balita stunting sebanyak 30 peserta. Metode yang digunakan ada 2 yaitu penyuluhan dan demonstrasi MP-ASI. Kegiatan penyuluhan dan demo berjalan lancar dan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu pada saat pre-test dan post-test dari 50% menjadi 80 %. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan demo MP-ASI menggunakan bahan pangan lokal dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan ibu dalam membuat MP-ASI lokal.Abstract: The Kalukku subdistrict area, Mamuju, West Sulawesi, has several stunting locus points, meaning that there is quite a large percentage of stunting incidents in that area, in addition to under-fice children who experience malnutrition. The pattern of giving MP-ASI to children aged 6-23 months in this area still needs to be improved. The pattern of giving MP-ASI in terms of type, amount, and time of giving MP-ASI still needs to be improved, namely 72.3%, 80%, and 45.8%, respectively, and there is a relationship between the type of MP-ASI and stunting. This activity aims to increase the knowledge and productivity of the toddler's family in preparing local MP-ASI for toddlers. The target of this activity is stunting toddler mothers as many as 30 participants. There are 2 methods used, namely socialization and demonstration of MP-ASI. The socialization and demo activities ran smoothly, and mothers' knowledge increased from 50% to 80% during the pre-test and post-test. Community service activities in the form of outreach and MP-ASI demonstrations using local food ingredients can increase mothers' knowledge and ability to make local MP-ASI.

Abstract

The Basic Health Research 2018 states that one in five adults, one in five children aged 5-12 years, and one in seven adolescents aged 13-18 years are overweight or obese. This activity aims to provide nutrition education and joint exercise as a campaign to increase physical activity in the Mamuju community. This activity was carried out in two forms: exercise and nutrition consultation under individuals' nutritional problems. The activity was held on 6 February 2022. Dozens of people were actively involved in the activity. The community is enthusiastic about doing joint exercises and nutritional counseling per the nutritional problems each faces. The results of the discussion and questions and answers showed that the participants understood enough about the nutrition education that had been given. It can increase public knowledge about a balanced nutritional lifestyle, including regular physical activity. Communities must consciously and independently carry out a lifestyle of balanced nutrition and daily physical activity.

Abstract

Latar Belakang:Persepsi berperan penting mempengaruhi perilaku karena berfungsi sebagai prediktor atau landasan dalam berperilaku. Tanpa informasi yang utuh mengenai apa itu stunting, penyebab dan dampaknya, berarti tidakada dasar awal pembentukan persepsi yang memadai atau bahkan memunculkan persepsi yang kurang adekuat. Tujuan:Penelitian bertujuan untuk kajian persepsi ibu terhadap stunting dan berbagai faktor risiko stunting di KecamatanPamboang, Kabupaten Majene. Metode:Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. informan dipilih secara sampling dengan metode snowball sampling menargetkan mereka yang memiliki anak balita stunting. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan data dianalisis dengan menerapkan teknik open-coding untuk menyarikan dan mengategorisasikan makna yang diberikan oleh informan. Hasil:Persepsi ibu bahwa meskipun hasil pengukuran status gizi balita informan menunjukkan stunting, namun semua informan mengatakan bahwa anak mereka tidak stunting karena perkembangan anak mereka kelihatan normal seperti bicara lancar dan berjalan sesuai umur. Sedangkan persepsi ibu tentang penyebab stunting menyebutkan ada 6 faktor utama penyebab stunting yaitu 1) karena ibu KEK, 2) kurang pemberian ASI, 3) pemberian MP-ASI yang kurang tepat, 4) bayi malas makan, 5) Pola asuh orang tua, dan 6) Pneumonia. Kesimpulan: Persepsi ibu tentang stunting bukan hanya tentang kurangnya tinggi badan dan berat badan balita, namun juga pada perkembangan balita seperti kemampuan bicara dan berjalan.

Abstract

Upaya pencegahan stunting dan obesitas berkaitan erat dengan upaya pemenuhan gizi bagi anak Baduta oleh keluarga. Peran stakeholder sangat dibutuhkan dalam upaya tersebut. Kecamatan Malunda Kabupaten Majene merupakan kabupaten yang memiliki prevalensi stunting tertinggi kedua setelah polewali mandar di provinsi Sulawesi barat yang merupakan salah satu kecamatan berdampak bencana gempa yang terjadi pada bulan Januari 2021. Upaya Advokasi Stakeholder merupakan salah satu upaya pencegahan stunting dan obesitas yaitu melalui peningkatan peran stakeholder dalam mendukung pemenuhan gizi anak baduta melalui keputusan/aturan ataupun kebijakan. Tujuan dari Pengabdian ini ialah meningkatkan peran stakeholder dalam upaya pemenuhan gizi anak baduta. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu melalui penyuluhan dan advokasi. Hasil penyuluhan dan advokasi adalah 6 kepala desa, 2 kepala kelurahan, 1 camat, dan 8 kepala puskesmas di wilayah kabupaten Majene memperoleh informasi tentang pentingnya pemenuhan gizi anak baduta dan peran stakeholder dalam upaya tersebut.

Abstract

The Primary School Children is a strategic objective to improve nutrition in the community because at this time the development of the child begins to form steady. The problem of stunting or short children can be affected by the lack of various nutrients, inadequate intake of nutrients such as protein, calcium and others will be at risk of child stunting or short. This type of research is descriptive. The sample in this study are as many as 65 people were obtained by purposive sampling. The intake of calcium and vitamin C taken with the formulir recall 24 hours, and the height was measured with use the microtoice. The results showed that there were 76.9% short of nutritional status (stunting) indicator of TB/U, there are 100% of children who have a calcium intake of less, and 96.9% were vitamin C intake less.
