The purpose of this research was to determine the factors that influence family for giving support to clients with diabetes mellitus in diet therapy. Methodology of this research was a descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. The number of sample is 106 respondents who have diabetes mellitus at areas of Puskesmas Harapan Raya. The sample were taken proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The measurement tool of this research is questionnaires which consist of 32 quesionnaire of family support. This research used chi squre test as bivariate analysis and logistic regresision for multivariate analysis. The results of this research show there were relationship between the level of family knowledge (p value = 0,000 ), family practice (p value = 0,000), socio economic status (p value = 0,006) and compliance of diet therapy. The results also shows there are no relationship between the stage of family development (p value = 1,000), family emotion (p value = 1,000), spiritual (p value =0,302), socio cultural (p value = 0,621) and compliance of diet therapy. The result of test shows the highest factors to influence family to give support to client with diabetes mellitus in diet therapy is family knowledge with Exp(B) 65,985. It is suggested to health care providers of Puskesmas to involve family in nursing threatment of client with diabetes mellitus. Keywords : Diabetes mellitus, Diet, Family

This research aims to determine the influence factors of cervical cancer prevention behavior of childbearing woman. Methodology on this research was a survey design with cross sectional approach. The sample in this research were 99 respondents who live in Rejosari with snowball sampling technique. Measuring instruments used was a questionnaire. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis using Chi-Square test and Fisher Exact test. The results showed there were relations between knowledge (ρ=0.045) and social support (ρ=0.000) toward behavior cervical cancer prevention. While age (ρ=0.306), education (ρ=1.000), and economy (ρ=0.561) there were not the relations toward behavior cervical cancer prevention. Based on the results of this research, it is recommended for health care institutions especially for public health center staff to increased a health education of cervical cancer prevention and extend a health promotion target. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of intervention about latch-on technique in postpartum ward on the frequency of breastfeeding without complementary feeding in the first 3 weeks of birth. The design of this research is "quasy experimental" designed with "post-test only control group". The groups were divided into experimental group and control group. This sample of this study were mothers with normal delivery process in the postpartum ward RSUD Petala Bumi Pekanbaru. The sample consist of 30 mothers who were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The experiment group is provided with a demonstration latch-on technique allowed by redemonstration session to the mother and baby. Measuring instruments that used was the questionnaire about frequency of breastfeeding without complementary feeding. The Mann-Whitney test showed p (0.153) > α (0.05) means that latch-on technique intervention in postpartum ward has no effect on the frequencies of breastfeeding without complementary feeding in the first 3 weeks of birth. The result of this study recommended for doing further research about giving intervention latch-on technique with more ensure ability of respondents about the use of latch-on techniques in breastfeeding in the postpartum ward with increase number of interventions that achievement breastfeeding without complementary feeding can also be improved. The purposes of this research was to determine the effect of health education about foot exercise by using audio visual media for increasing knowledge of foot exercise among DM patients type 2. The design of this study was quasy experiment. 30 respondents was taken by purposive sampling method. The instrument used this questionnaire that had been tested for validity & reliability (0,933). The result showed the effect of health to improve knowledge of foot exercises implementation in respondents with type 2 of DM in the experimental group after giving the health education was siqnificant (p value 0.002 <α 0.05). The results of this study recommends that the health workers provide health education by using audio-visual media to enhance knowledge of the diabetic patient to do foot exercise and prevent the occurrence of complications of diabetic, especially in the legs. The aim of this research was to identify the correlation between family support and motivation of elderly with hypertention to control their blood pressure. The method of this research was a descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. The sample in this research were 91 eldest with hypertention residing in the village of South Tangkerang with cluster sampling technique and stratified random sampling with 91 elderly which was selected based on inclusion criteria. The instrument was a questionnaire contains of 27 statement which had been tested the validity and reliability. The analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis by using Chi-squared test. The result showed that 50 respondent (54,9%) had possitive support and 49 respondent (53,8%) had high motivation. Chi-square test showed p value = 0,000 < (α = 0,05), it means that there is a correlation between family support and motivation of elderly with hypertention to control their blood pressure. Based on the result of this study, it recommended to family for caring the elderly to control their blood pressure in order to increase elderly’s biology, psychology, social, and spirituality. Postpartum blues arises when a mother failed to accept their condition caused of pregnancy, pregnancy process ,delivery and post partum. This research is highly essential since postpartum blues which is known as a form of a light depression,can develop into postpartum depression if it is not well handled.This research is aimed to explore coping mechanism who has postpartum blues by using qualitative research methodwithPhenomenology approach. Four participants which are chosen by purposive sampling technique have experienced data saturation from local State hospital Arifin Achmad Pekanbaru. Data is gathered through interview (In depth interview), field record, the input result of The Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) andanalyzed by using Colaizzi method. the result of the research identifies two theme, they are coping mechanism and coping impact which are used. Coping mechanism which is used is by the participant namely coping and maladaptive mechanism and the impact coping which is used namely positive and negative impact. The result of this research suggests the nurses to give more attention to the psychological health of a mother after delivery by giving support therapyby doing so, it will show emotional concerns, appreciations, and informations or by giving nursery aid to the mother after delivery.
