Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan teoritis dan empiris instrumen tes literasi sains berbasis kearifan lokal di Kabupaten Lamongan yang telah dikembangkan, serta mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (R&D atau Research & Development) dengan langkah-langkah meliputi analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data atau informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, draf final, uji coba, analisis, dan laporan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui lembar validasi ahli dan uji coba instrumen. Instrumen tes literasi sains yang dikembangkan berisi 22 butir soal uraian dengan memuat tiga kompetensi literasi sains. Kelayakan teoritis diperoleh melalui validasi tiga dosen validator dari jurusan Fisika Universitas Negeri Surabaya dan kelayakan empiris diperoleh melalui uji coba yang dilakukan oleh 30 peserta didik. Validitas atau kelayakan teoritis yang memuat aspek materi, konstruksi, dan bahasa didapatkan persentase rata-rata 92,78% berkategori sangat layak. Validitas atau kelayakan empiris yang memuat daya pembeda, tingkat kesukaran, reliabilitas, dan validitas item didapatkan 68% dari 22 butir soal atau 15 butir soal layak secara empiris. Profil kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik yaitu 3% berkategori sangat tinggi, 3% berkategori tinggi, 24% berkategori sedang, 3% berkategori rendah, dan 67% berkategori sangat rendah. Kata kunci: instrumen tes; literasi sains; kelayakan teoritis; kelayakan empiris. ABSTRACTThe research aims to describe the theoretical and empirical feasibility of scientific literacy test instrument based on local wisdom in Lamongan regency that has been developed, as well as to describe the scientific literacy ability profile of high school students. This research is a type of development research (R&D or Research & Development) with steps including potential and problem analysis, data or information collection, product design, design validation, design revision, final draft, experiment, analysis, and reports. This research uses quantitative descriptive of analysis method. Research data has been obtained through expert validation and instrumen experiment. The scientific literacy test instrument that has been developed contains 22 essay questions containing three scientific literacy competencies. Theoretical feasibility was obtained through the validation of three validator lecturers from the Department of Physics at State University of Surabaya and empirical feasibility was obtained through experiment conducted by 30 students. The validity or theoretical feasibility which includes aspects of material, construction, and language resulting an average percentage of 92.78% in the most feasible category. Empirical validity or feasibility which includes differential power, level of difficulty, reliability, and item validity obtained 68% of the 22 or 15 question items which were empirically feasible. The profiles of student’s scientific literacy abilities are 3% in the highest category, 3% in the high category, 24% in the medium category, 3% in the low category, and 67% in the lowest category.  Keywords: test instrument; scientific literacy; theoretical feasibility; empirical feasibility.
