Abstract

Pregnancy is a special condition for a woman as a prospective mother because there will be physical changes that will affect her life during pregnancy. Diet and lifestyle can help the growth and development of the fetus in the mother's womb. (Irianto, 2015) The results of the 2018 Riskesdas show that the proportion of anemia in pregnant women from 2013 to 2018 has increased by 11.8%; in 2013, the proportion was 37.1%, and in 2018 the proportion was 48.9% (Riskesdas, 2018 ). This study aims to determine differences in hemoglobin levels and body weight of pregnant women in the third trimester based on adherence to iron tablets at the Deniawati Clinic in 2021. This study uses a comparative quantitative approach. This study's sample number was 26 pregnant women in the third trimester. The results showed a 2-way (t-tailed) significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and 0.003 < 0.005. Conclusion this means that there are significant differences in the hemoglobin levels and body weight of pregnant women between obedient and non-adherent mothers taking iron tablets during pregnancy. This study recommends that further researchers need to conduct further research with different variables that are deeper.

Abstract

The results of the 2012 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) stated that the MMR in Indonesia was 359 per 100,000 KH. According to the Indonesian Health Profile, the highest causes of maternal mortality in 2013 were bleeding, Hypertension in Pregnancy (HDK), infection, prolonged/obstructed labor and abortion. Mothers who experience hypertension due to pregnancy range from 10%, 3.4% of them have pre-eclampsia, 5% have hypertension and 1-2% have chronic hypertension. Type of case study report with descriptive method, location at BPS Deniawati Kwala Bingai Stabat. Data collection techniques include primary data including physical examination, interviews and observation and secondary data, including documentation studies and literature studies. Able to carry out midwifery care for pregnant women with mild pre-eclampsia using Varney's 7-step midwifery approach. Results For midwifery care for pregnant women at BPS Rusnah after carrying out midwifery care for 3 weeks the results were: Blood pressure 150/90 mmHg, to 120/80 mmHg, Urine protein from (+1) to (-). Although in this case there is a gap between theory and practice, the midwife can provide care to the patient so that a potential diagnosis in the form of severe pre-eclampsia does not occur. The results of midwifery care carried out for 3 weeks were the mother did not feel dizzy anymore, blood pressure became 120/80 mmHg, urine protein (-) and there was no edema in the left and right legs (pregnant women did not experience pre-eclampsia anymore).

Abstract

Based on the results of the 2015 Inter-Census Population Survey (SUPAS), the MMR in Indonesia again showed a decline to 305/100,000 live births. The causes of maternal death in Indonesia include placenta previa, namely 2.77% in 2015 and 0.85% of them died. Type of case study report with descriptive method, location at Al-Fitrah Maternity Clinic Tanjung Pura. Data collection techniques include primary data including physical examination, interviews and observation and secondary data, including documentation studies and literature studies. Able to carry out midwifery care for pregnant women with placenta previa using Varney's 7-step midwifery approach. For midwifery care for pregnant women at the Al-Fitrah Maternity Clinic Tanjung Pura, after carrying out midwifery care for 3 days, the results were: Bleeding stopped, there are no contractions and the general condition of the mother and fetus is good.
