Abstract

Cirebon mask is one of the intangible cultural heritage in Indonesia. It is one of the prominent cultural assets from Cirebon and becoming one of the identity Cirebon culture. However, the current condition people tend to forget the cultural asset and lack of help from the government makes the Cirebon mask become the third-rate assets. Our concern lays on the extinction of this Mask. We want to implement digitation and automatic identification using image processing techniques. In this paper, we applied the Convolutional Neural Network for Cirebon Mask classification.

Abstract

Biometric recognition system can use race classification to identify the human globally with a particular identity. This paper proposes Support Vector Machine and will compare the result with K-Nearest Neighbor for classification of people into two major races namely Indonesian western and eastern races. Firstly, the proposed classification method extracts the distinct primary facial feature and skin color model of the given face with Viola-Jones Algorithm to effectively classify the races. To increase the accuracy, the sample must not contain any background of other people skin, no movement and the pictures were taken from the mobile camera with no beauty filter.

Abstract

White blood cells, have a function to protect human body from viruses, bacteria and any other harmful substance. In this research, Local Binary Pattern was proposed for feature extraction using Euclidean distance, Chebyshev distance and Minkowski distance as classifier.

Abstract

Jasmine is the one of the national flower. Each jasmine type has unique characteristic and different between each other. Sadly, Indonesia is not the only one who have the Jasmine as the national flower, the other countries such as Malaysia and Philippine have their jasmine. In this research we tried to classify between Indonesia and Other country Jasmine. We proposed using Local Binary Pattern as the feature extraction and K-Nearest Neighbour as the classifier. The result shows the best accuracy from our proposed methods is 55%.

Abstract

Network is a communication between two devices to communicate with each other either using wire or wireless media. The LAN network topology used at Tanri Abeng Unversity still uses a static routing topology, where the routing process is still done manually, so that if there is an addition of a new network, it will be difficult to configure the routing table. In this research, a network topology with dynamic routing methods will be built that will help improve network performance at Tanri Abeng University. The purpose of this research is to analyze the comparison of network performance at Tanri Abeng Unversity in sending data packets using static routing protocols, OSPF, and BGP based on the parameters used. In this research also, the ping process was carried out using the cisco packet tracer 100 times with the size of the data packet sent of 32 bytes for each routing method to be compared. Then in this research, the test scenario was carried out eight times on each parameter of throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter in the hope of determining which routing method is more optimal among static routing, OSPF, and BGP at Tanri Abeng University. The test results show that BGP routing for throughput and packet loss parameters is superior to other routing methods, while OSPF routing for delay and jitter parameters is superior to other routing methods.
