Abstract

Hypertension was one problem in health sector because of its high incidence rate worldwide, and until now still increasing. According to WHO data in 2015, around 1.13 billion people in the worldwide suffer hypertension. It was estimated that 1.56 billion adults in the world will hypertension by 2025. Based on national research data in 2018, Gorontalo Province was 20th position with the number of cases of hypertension. Adherence to taking medication was one of the problems in the treatment of this disease. However, this adherence could overcome through monitoring by members of family regarding treatment, and determining whether to use health services or not. This study aims to determine the relationship between role of family with compliance treatment of patients in the working area of community health centers of Telaga Biru, Gorontalo city. This study used cross sectional research design with purposive sampling technique. Total of 34 respondents with hypertension obtained then dianalysis using Chi Square test. The results of show that the calculated X2 value of 18.2 and greater than the X2 table with p value = 0.000 (p<0.05). These findings indicate that role of the family was very influential on the regularity level of treating hypertension patients in the working area of the Telaga Biru Health Center, Gorontalo city. We conclude that regular treatment could improved through the role and duties of the family in controlling patients with hypertension

Abstract

COVID-2019 adalah penyakit jenis baru yang belum pernah terindentifikasi sebelumnya dan muncul pada akhir tahun 2019. Sampai pada tahun 2020, COVID-19 dinyatakan sebagai pandemi oleh organisasi kesehatan dunia karena penyakit ini menyebar dengan begitu cepat, hingga 14 April 2020 jumlah kasus positif virus Corona 1.920.057 orang di dunia dengan 119.403 kematian (CFR 6,2%). Menurut gugus tugas percepatan penanganan COVID-19 bahwa jumlah ODP sebanyak 139.137 dan PDP sebanyak 10.482. Di Indonesia penyebaran dan peningkatan kasus yang terinfeksi meningkat setiap harinya dengan kasus terkonfirmasi positif 4.839 dengan 459 kematian serta 426 sembuh di 34 provinsi. Gorontalo merupakan provinsi terakhir yang terdampak penyebaranCOVID-19. Terdapat pelaku perjalanan daerah terjangkit terbanyak 48 orang dan 2 orang belum tiba dari luar daerah yang berada di Desa Yosonegoro. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk penyuluhan berupa ceramah,tanya jawab dan evaluasi perubahan pemahaman masyarakat Yosonegoro. Pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui 2 tahap yaitu tahap pertama dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat tanggal 15 Mei 2020 dan tahap keduadilaksanakan pada hari Rabu tanggal 21 Oktober 2020. Hasil capaian evaluasi melalui kuesioner didapatkan peserta dengan jumlah yang hadir 50 orang, 49 orang peserta menjawab kuesioner dengan benar dan tepat, sedangkan 1 orang lainnya jawabannya belum tepat. Seluruh peserta yang telah mendapatkan materi tentang COVID-19 telah mengetahui dan bekerja sama dengan pemerintah dalam hal mencegah penyebaran COVID-19 di lingkungan desa dimulai dari keluarga.
