Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan bahan pangan lokal yang sudah ada melalui upaya diversifikasi pangan.Tepung sagu merupakan salah satu bahan pangan yang mengandung karbohidrat cukup tinggi yang digunakan oleh sebagian besar penduduk sebagai makanan sampingan yang berada di pedesaan bahkan di perkotaan, oleh sebab itu perlu tetap dikembangkan usaha sagu secara berkesinambungan sebagai bahan baku industri rumahtangga pangan dengan target khusus adalah memberikan peluang kerja bagi masyarakat untuk berwirausaha dengan memanfaatkan tepung sagu dan ikan basahsebagai bahan baku, sehingga memberikan nilai tambah dan memberikan pelatihan pembuatan produk mie sagu bakso ikan. Metode yang akan diterapkan yaitu metode pendekatan klasikal dan individual. Pendekatan klasikal dilakukan pada saat penyampaian materi di lapangan dalam bentuk demplot tentang teknik olahan produk tepung sagu bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan dasar olahan mie sagu dan dipadukan dengan bakso ikan. Pendekatan individual dilakukan pada saat praktek di lapangan yang mana peserta yang telah diberi pendidikan dan pelatihan diharapkan dapat menyebarluaskan kepada anggota masyarakat lainnya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu PKK mampu memproduksi mie sagu dan bakso ikan secara mandiri sehingga dapat dikonsumsi untuk skala rumah tangga maupun skala industri untuk peningkatan nilai tambah konsumsi dan tambahan penghasilan.

Abstract

Devotion to Society with the program of workshop “Melukis pada Wadah Kaleng Bekas” (Drawing at the Used Cans) is supposed to gain the participants’ potency in artistic sensitivity. It also aims to make young generation more  love their culture.  In the workshop, students are leaded to create a work of cans painting with the theme of their surrounding culture such as batik, wayang characters, and so on. Devotion to Society aims to  increase the appreciation and ability in drawing at the used cans for students in SMAN 2 Surakarta. The program is executed using the method of speech and discussion as well as workshop on introducing directly to drawing method and instruments. This is supposed to make students able to draw at the cans well and make them realize about their environment hygiene.Key words : drawing, workshop.

Abstract

This research tried to expose a model which is affiliated to the maintainance of fine art collections through the archives pattern. Archival models was the one of severals possibilities which is useful for the collections in any object. According to the main focus, this research identified some samples in the fine art collections related to the museum management and its urgency in their public interest. For this reason some comparative archival models will be referred from Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta and other established archival model. The database models was also referred to the comparative archival models. This article will expose empirical data from archival models to bring up the best choice of museum management. Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelagic nation which has approximately 1128 race, with plenty of cultural diversity and varied, each region contributing to the local distinctiveness of the culture in the form of customs, language, architecture, music, dance, decoration, fashion district, traditional food, and others. History shows us about how the local arts of the past are able to adapt the art that comes from outside and is able to transform the local culture in Indonesia, and has produced many stunning works of art in the form of prehistoric art, classical and traditional arts other. The values of life that grows in society tribes in the area of Indonesia, which relies on the wisdom of the natural environ-ment is a source of cultural wealth of a nation that needs to be maintained and preserved. Indonesia is a cha-llenge for artists today to be able to create works of art that has the characteristics or character in his work, with roads dug indigenous people of Indonesia to be imple-mented in his artwork.Keywords: Local Wisdom, and Artwork

Abstract

Mural now familiar to resi-dents of the city, almost in every street corners is murals with a wide range of visualization. The road users would not want to accept the existence of these murals. Two adjacent cultural city as a focus of research has a picture of the existence of the creation of the mural as follows: 1) The form and content according to envi-ronmental conditions, 2) Mural in form and content does not comply with the environmental conditions. 3) murals that have no clear goal and collided with the graffiti. The strategy needs to be done in the creation of murals, for suitable for public spaces are: 1) Workers mural art or artists should have experience in work-ing on the mural, 2) the idea or content of the mural should be considered in depth and tho-rough, to be more appropriate and beneficial to the wider community, 3) Visually (shape or form) should contain murals created aesthetic value as the comparison between the images with road users can be seen clearly. 4) Good collaboration with municipalities, and relevant par-ties would further support the implementation process of mural making 5) With the holding of the race course will also affect the variation of the mural that was created, because each group or individual has a different cha-racter-creation different, 6) Age mural tends to be short compared with other conventional works, because it works more on outdoor murals, so the weather was affecting the continuance. 7) In the mural creation strategies, will vary with the creation of conventional painting, because the mural visualization tend to occupy a vast space and some-times high, so that the necessary technical perspective and a more powerful distortion. Keywords: Mural, teknique and public art

Abstract

The research of the effect of shading and mycorrhyza inoculations on the growth of cacao seedlings on the Red-yellow Podzolic soil and Andosol had been conducted in Microbiology laboratory of Agriculture Faculty, Gadjah Mada University, and a field experiment in Pogung, subdistrict of Sinduadi, Mlati,  Sleman, Yogyakarta. The research aimed to determine the best combination that can increase the quality of the cacao seedling. The research was conducted using a Split-split plot design, the experimen was done with three factors and three replicates. The first factor was the shading level that consisted of no shading, shading in 25%; 50% and 75%. The second factor was the type of soils (red-yellow podzolic soil and andosol),  The third factor was the mycorrhyza inoculations (no-mycorrhyza inoculation, Gigaspora margaritainoculation and Glomus manihotis inoculation). Results of this research showed that the interaction effect between the three factors wassignificant.  Interaction occurred between the shading and the soil type and also between the shading and the mycorrhyza inoculation, meanwhile each single factor had also significant effect on all variable observed.  The interaction between shading and soil significantly affected stem diameter, root dry-weight, root volume, root shoot ratio, relative growth rate (RGR), and P absorption.  The interaction between the shading and the mycorrhyza had significant influence on plant height and specific leaf weight (SLW). The shading level of 25% on the andosol soil inoculated with the Glomus manihotismycorrhyza is the best treatment for growing cacao seedlings. Keywords: Andosol, Cacao seedling, Mycorrhyza, Red-yellow Podzolic soil, Shading.
